uunwanaobong3:
1. David silva.... The greatest and most skillful player ever to play in premier league (I rate silva along with iniesta as the most skillful and flexible players the world has ever seen)

2. Kun Aguero........ The greatest striker and the most destructive force premier league has ever see ( it took aguero 200 less games than Allan sherea to reach 200 EPL goal for mancity) ..... Brutality.

3. Yaya Toure......... The greatest and the most energized box to box midfielder the premier league and Europe has ever seen ( he was an energy box, with his solo Yaya Toure tademark run and goal, deadly free kicks, bully defenders and scoring more than 20goals without penalty from midfield in epl)

4. Vincent company (captain fantastic)......... The only man who could captain the 3 legends listed above. He was bullish and stood up for the club in times of trouble.......... One of the best defenders I have ever seen, but because of his injuries, I will not call him the best because he misses so much games.

De-bruyne is not yet a legend....... But among the current mancity stars today, he is the only one closer to joining this legend list if he continues with this current form for mancity for the next 5yrs.
Lol all these city Fans sef..
Not taking anything away from David Silva but iniesta is a level above

Aguero 200 Epl goalshuh huh Greatest striker Epl has seen?? , When and how . Go check the stats again.

All these are infinitesimal compared to what he would have done if he was serious minded.
He was too good but not serious
Regardless but don't undermine his achievements with that "phrase"

He was the reason I watched Barcelona then.

Baba in modern football we need result..

See Rashford yesterday uncessarily dribbling when he could have pass the ball.
Nobody in world was as skillful as Ronaldinho, what did he achieve?
If he was serious minded and more focused,he would have been the GOAT..

Is it not people that discredit E.Hazard because he dribbles a lot but doesn't score enough goals..
What did Ronaldinho achieve with his skills??!!...
World cup winner, champions league , X2 world best player.... How dare you!! huh

Then why allow Fabinho's goal stand?
He couldn't make a genuine case for the "supposed" handball foul....he saw no reason to stop play since Liverpool was still far from city's goal. Forgetting we are lightening quick grin grin
SportsRe: What The EPL Table Would Look Like Without VAR by Tamel(m): 12:06pm On Jul 26, 2020
TheGoodJoe:
The handball led to the goal. Why let Fabinho's goal stand? The EPL and Var said Bernardo's handball was not the reason for them not given the penalty. Within the rules, Bernardo did not do wrong.

If Arnold did not stop the ball, and Sterling scored, the goal would have stood if thdh went to var fairly.

Yet, Trent reached for the ball, the officials lied his hand was in a natural position.

The handball by Trent led to a goal by Fabinho. Should have been ruled out.

A clear case of the var officials working in favour of Liverpool.
Lol Bernardo's arm deflected the ball to aguero's path,so yea he did a lot wrong, the goal would have been chalked off if VAR was to take an unbiased look at it .
Take a look at mahrez fifth goal in city's 4-0 thrashing of Liverpool, chalked off for the same reason. Although I thought that was a bit soft and the goal should have stood Because it had little effect on the motion of the ball .

TheGoodJoe:
Man City should have had a penalty for Trent Alexander-Arnold handball and the error illustrates VAR is not working

In my opinion it is exactly the sort of clear and obvious error that VAR was introduced to deal with, and City should have had a spot kick. The error was made particularly painful by the fact Liverpool had gone straight up the other end and scored, and so it is not hard to see why Guardiola was so irate.

I felt that Alexander-Arnold’s arm was away from his body, and his intervention prevented the ball from reaching a City player at the back post - making it a clear handball. In contrast, the penalty shout at the end against the same player was correctly not given because Alexander-Arnold’s arm was by his side and he had no time to react as it was hit straight at him from close range.

I have seen suggestions that because the ball hit Bernardo Silva’s hand before striking Alexander-Arnold the officials would not have been able to award City a penalty. Crucially, the Premier League insisted a spot kick was not awarded because Alexander-Arnold’s hand was not in an unnatural position, rather than because of Silva’s role in the incident. Taking them at face value I believe they have made the wrong call,

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2019/11/10/manchester-city-should-have-had-penalty-fortrent-alexander-arnold/amp/

Even if they say it was not a penalty, why allow fabinho's goal stand?
That is exactly what baffles me with them analyst... So let's assume the ball didn't hit Trent's arm , and instead got to aguero right and he ends up sticking it in the back of the goalpost, would the goal have stood? Knowing clearly the ball hit Silva's arm and changed the direction of the ball.

I think the referee allowed the match to go on since he didn't see anything wrong and besides city had a good chance to clear their lines before the Fabinho goal.

Why do you say handball by Arnold. The ball hit the hand of a city player 1st and changed the direction the ball before hitting Arnold. Why are you guys blind to see that. Is it hatred that's clouding your vision.
Lol I'm always baffled when they miss that part , even analyst miss that part. The ball clearly hit Bernardo Silva's arm which made it change direction and hit Trent's arm. But they keep going it's a penalty , it's penalty huh . Always tryna take the shine from my dearest Liverpool in a match we totally bossed. grin . Liverpool have been better this season accept it .
