Nigerian musician Joshua Iniyezo, better known as Solid Star in a recent interview opens up about his music career, his experience growing up and also about his relationship with Tonto Dikeh.

When asked how he started his music career, he said, I would say that I’ve been trying since I was in A.J (Ajegunle) City, when Achievas Music moved me from there to Festac, things started moving fine. From the new friends I started making then, I dropped my first single ‘One In a Million’ and that was it.

Asked to tell his story, he said, It started way back in AJ city when I had to do a lot of things to survive since I lost my grandma and my dad. It was only me and my elder brother. So after my secondary school, I had to do something. I started hawking at Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)…(Laughs). I was hawking meat pie. The first song I recorded was with Achievas Music and things changed from then.

Victoria's Secret lingerie store worker was today forced to deny throwing acid in her own face to gain fame and fortune by her friend Mary Konye.
Naomi Oni, 21, was accused of setting up the attack and asking friend Mary Konye, also 21, to 'play the stalker' and throw the corrosive liquid over her.

The prosecution claim Konye donned a full niqab before following Oni as she made her way home, only to douse in sulphuric acid which has left her disfigured for life.
But the defence say it was part of an elaborate plan to become rich and famous.
That Naomi hatched a plan with Konye to pour acid over herself to improve her future prospects.

Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth has been attacked by friends and followers on social media (facebook and twitter) after sharing a joke highlighting the difference between a white girl and an African girl and mentioned rape. The Presidency has finally moved against the National Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, as it is now certain that it is shopping for his replacement.

Reliable sources told Vanguard that Tukur “will lose his position on January 16, as his exit is now a foregone conclusion.’’

The sources said the out-going Chairman may be replaced by Waliki Adamawa, Alhaji Hassan Adamu. The sources said the party needed a new hand to pilot its affairs as it seemed that many party faithful were against the chairman, whose alleged imposition of his maternal cousin as a candidate for one of the elections in his home state, Adamawa, precipitated the crises that had been rocking PDP for over a year now.

A man with two functioning joysticks took questions on on Reddit's "Ask Me Anything" and it was unlike any other Q&A you're likely to read.
The man, who calls himself "DoubleDickDude" (DDD), was born with diphallia, a rare congenital condition that causes him to have two sex organs.
Both joysticks are in the 6-inch range, but DDD says one can get as large as 7 inches if he's really aroused.
As might be expected, DDD attracted thousands of inquiries from curious men and women about his pitchfork penis. His real name, age and home town remain a mystery, but he is believed to live somewhere in the United States.
For instance, DDD said he is bisexual and currently in a relationship with both a man and a woman.

He said partners were a couple before they started dating him.
"She is straight, and he is bisexual," he wrote. "After four months of them both knowing me, they found out
about my joysticks. It clicked and we've been together since."

The combined net worth of four Nigerian billionaires, Aliko Dangote, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, Abdulsamad Rabiu and Mike Adenuga, grew by N2.024 trillion ($12.65 billion) in 2013, according to data released by Forbes yesterday.

Dangote Tops Forbes List of Biggest African Billionaires 2013

The amount is about half of the N4.99 trillion budget put forward by the Federal Government and approved by the National Assembly in the 2013 fiscal year.

Forbes, in a report entitled The Biggest African Billionaire Gainers in 2013, listed Dangote, Africa’s richest man, as the biggest gainer in terms of increase in net worth.

President Goodluck Jonathan said yesterday that Nigeria has the potentials to lead Africa if public office holders, politicians and indeed, the citizenry, stop being selfish.

The President recalled his encounter with United States President Barack Obama when the latter revealed that about 25, 000 medical consultants work in the U.S., the number which the US leader said, was crucial to the American economy.

Jonathan said that Nigeria has what it takes to lead the African continent, considering the country’s human and natural resources.

The President spoke at the New Year service held at Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Pro-Cathedral, Catholic Church in Area 3, Abuja. The service was attended by dignitaries including Senate President David Mark.

PREMIUM TIMES- An Aero Contractors aircraft Boeing 737-500, with Registration No 5N-BLC, landed safely at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos, Sunday, after a loss of pressure in one of the tyres.

The aircraft which landed at 10.50 a.m. had a total of 104 passengers and crew members on board.

Nasir El-Rufai, who was aboard the plane, said in a tweet that the pilot and the crew of the plane did “a great job.”

“Upon landing in Lagos, our Aero aircraft lost a tyre. The pilot did a great job of breaking to a halt suitably. My phones flew under seats,” Mr. El-Rufai, a former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, said via his official handle.

Chinese man was admitted to a local hospital after he reportedly got a live eel stuck inside him.


According to the information provided by the Sun, the man inserted the 20-inch-long Asian swamp eel into his anus after seeing it done in a porn movie, and he had to endure all-night surgery to have it extracted.

The eel reportedly chewed through the man's colon, perforating his large intestine, and became stuck in his body cavity. A graphic X-ray image shows how far inside the eel was when the man came in for treatment.
