parrotibaba:please, give me the link to one thread they actually helped... thanks |
charix:my brother, it's just annoying! |
Is it just me or have you also been noticing these Carlcare reps asking you to visit their service center on virtually every Tecno, Infinix or Itel issue? If others were doing the same, it would be an automatic ban but they're freely promoting their brand without a single help from them. Even If you ask "I just bought this Tecno, Infinix or Itel phone, where is the power button located so I can switch it on", their reply would be "Hi! You can call our service center directly about that, and the hotline of our opebi center is +234 80022752273. Pls call during working hours. And if you want us to check it for you, pls provide us with your complete Wo number. Thank you!" .... Carlcaresophia and co. If these people aren't ready to render any assistance on NL then they should sit at their service center because we already know the address and how to get there. Afterall, we were aware that they had a service center but came to NL to get a quick / free solution. Speaking of solutions, A friend of mine bricked her phone from changing font. You wont believe that these Carlcare guys told her to bring N8,000 that her board needs to be replaced. When she told me over the phone (in tears), I asked her to come back that it didnt sound right. I just directed her to one Nigerian website popular for helping to unbrick Tecno, Infinix and Gionee phones for free. They sent her necessarry files and phone was working fine in less than 10 minutes. That was what 'Carlcare Engineers' called a board issue! My question is, why do these Carlcare reps have to feed on the ignorance of their own customers? I've heard of many such cases where they blamed simple software issues on board just to collect money. Another annoying thing i'm yet to confirm is their swap policy. Imagine a friend cracking the screen of a phone he got for over N40,000 less than 1 month ago and Carlcare told him that the parts are no longer available and he would have to swap it. Imagine the rogues valued his phone at N5,000. What a mess! Im seriously investigating this 'swap' thing because the tales I'm hearing so far are ridiculous This is not attacking any company's reputation, just calling a spade a spade. There are many here on NL alone who can corroborate these shady Carlcare techniques. On a final note, If Carlcare reps posts on NL are only going to ask us to visit their service center (without providing any meaningful online support) then this should be considered and treated as SPAM. |
I accidentally bricked my Tecno M7 while trying to change font using iFont app and couldn't get any working phone. I also didn't have much mb to download the backup online. I was already loosing hope when I can across Auto Font Unbricker V1.0.zip (You can google it too) . I just downloaded it, connected the phone to PC, launched it and my phone was back to life in a few seconds. I didn't lose anything. just thought to share. will upload it when I have the chance, about 7mb. |

Praiiiiiiiiiiiise master Jesus! Hallaluyah! The Lord is good! Brethren, I'm into poultry business and there was a time that my birds were dying in large numbers due to cold. I was loosing about 500 birds weekly and all my efforts at keeping cold out of my poultry buildings proved abortive. An expert advised me to go for an industrial thermostat and that would have cost almost N350,000 (which I didnt have). I'd practically given up till I overheard one brother after service complaining about one Infinix phone, saying it used to get so hot that he couldnt put it in his pocket or hold it for long. On asking for the price of this mysterious Infinix heater I learnt that it was just about N23,000. I was really amazed that Infinix could make a heater and add a few phone features to it because it looked very much like a phone to me. They claimed it was gorilla screen but it shattered less than 10 minutes after I brought it out of the pack. I didn't let that bother me since Infinix clearly has no clue whatsoever , what gorilla screen means; My birds were my top priority..... Gorilla Screen.... (laughs).. Infinix sef wan feel among.... I decided to place one of these Infinix heaters in my poultry that night and it happened to rain rather heavily. I was already mentally prepared to go pack chicken corpses the next day. To my surprise, all my birds we alive and very active unlike how they used to fold and lay quietly. It was so hot in the poultry house of over 6,000 birds that I had to take my shirt off to work that morning. Now, my business is booming and I have an Infinix heater in every of my poultry buildings. Somebody shout Halelluyah!!! |
