A surreal video released on YouTube by Emmanuel TV, the popular channel of Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua, has elicited a storm of emotional reactions online.

The clip titled 'SHOCKING: Living With A CURSED CORPSE', chronicles the strange account of an elderly woman forced to live with the body of her late daughter for a harrowing fourteen months, accused of being the 'witch' responsible for the spate of untimely deaths in her family.

"This is not a fairytale story," the description of the video reads, "but a real-life, gruesome account of superstition, sorcery and surreal spiritual manipulation."

After hearing of the octogenarian's sordid ordeal from an in-law, Joshua invited her from Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria and declared her innocent of the accusation of witchcraft, leading the congregation in prayers on his knees for forgiveness.

A church team subsequently followed Mrs Atta back to her village, organised a befitting burial for the deceased and conveyed the message that the elderly woman was innocent of all devilish activities blamed on her.

Reactions to the lengthy clip were emotion-laden. "I'm a big man but I cried my eyes out while watching this video," wrote Stephen Mammburu from South Africa. "There are too many sad and evil things happening out there. Just because we don't come across them doesn't mean that it's not happening."


"I never been so touched and cried like that," stated Josi Josi, another YouTube viewer. "May God Almighty forgive our faithless generation," she concluded.

Yamikani Yotamu from Zambia bluntly stated, "I am a man but this made me cry. How do we treat our old mothers like this? God sees!"

A user going by the name of 'Les Jeunes Thugs' blamed the incident on primitive superstition. "Thank you TB Joshua – but look at this nonsense which Africa believes. Oh, tears are running down my cheeks!" 

However, not all viewers were unanimous in their praise for Joshua's intervention, Niki Tennison arguing the clip was nothing more than "morbid sensationalism" and not something to be aired publicly.

Emmanuel TV has gained a reputation for releasing controversial YouTube clips, racking up a whopping 450,000 subscribers in the process.

Employees of a voter registration agency told police they turned in some falsified voter registration forms due to pressure from supervisors to meet a quota for registering Indiana voters, according to a search warrant unsealed Monday.

Canvassers working on behalf of the Indiana Voter Registration Project may have submitted hundreds of fabricated, incorrect or incomplete voter registration forms in counties across the state, the warrant alleges. Police say they found registrations for people who were already registered and said they did not authorize anyone from the group to re-register them, as well as registrations with incorrect birth dates, names and signatures that did not match previous registrations.

The search warrant offers details into the voter fraud investigation that sparked controversy and concern in the weeks leading up Election Day. The investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police spurred Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson to publicly say in October that incorrect voter registration forms that were submitted may constitute voter fraud. That revelation built on fears of a rigged election stoked by President-elect Donald Trump in the final weeks of his campaign.

Indiana Democrats, though, accused Lawson of speaking out prematurely, inflaming partisan fears. The Indiana Voter Registration Project is an offshoot of Patriot Majority USA, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that in part seeks to register voters in historically under-represented areas. Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry later made a statement urging police to stop discussing the investigation publicly, called accusations of voter fraud "premature" and asked third parties to stop making “reckless assertions” of voter suppression and intimidation.

Though no charges have been filed against any workers or officials at Patriot USA, the search warrant authorized Indiana State Police detectives to search the Indiana office in the 2400 block of North Meridian Street and seize computers and documents. The warrant outlines the detectives' case against the voter group and asks a judge to find probable cause for a search.

Patriot Majority USA spokesman Bill Buck said in a statement that the group paid employees by a day's work, not by form. He said in the statement that employees who turned in faulty registration forms were not asked back.

“The professionalism of the Indiana Voter Registration Project is further proven by the fact that most of the canvassers mentioned in these warrants were fired, let go, not called back or quit before the State Police became involved in this matter," the statement read. "In addition, most of the non-verified applications mentioned in the warrants were flagged as incomplete or inaccurate by the Project itself, as part of its quality-control process, in order to ensure that no ineligible individual or application made its way onto the Voter File."

In September, officials of the Marion County Board of Voter Registration told police the group submitted more than 27,000 voter applications, the warrant says. The board was "suspicious" of the group, so they sent an attorney to the group's headquarters to take photographs.

The Marion County Voter Registration Office also flagged 570 suspect voter registration applications and handed them over to police, the warrant says.

Police began reviewing registrations submitted by the Indiana Voter Registration Project and found incomplete applications, as well as applications for people who were already registered to vote, the warrant says.

Detectives interviewed employees, who, according to the warrant, said they were pressured to register at least 10 voters during a shift to be able to keep working. The employees told police they were generally paid $75 for about five hours of canvassing in often low-income neighborhoods. One employee told police she completed voter registration forms — without the potential voter's permission — to meet the quota, the warrant says.

Another employee told police she took credit for registering 10 to 15 voters she did not actually speak to, the warrant says.

Indiana State Police detectives raided the headquarters on Oct. 4 and seized documents, hard drives and laptops.

A helicopter carrying almost a dozen people crashed somewhere between Port Harcourt and Lagos, Nigeria this morning, Wednesday February 3, 2016. The whereabouts of the fallen helicopter are as of yet unknown as are the details of the passengers.

This crash comes three days after a prophetic message was spoken on Emmanuel TV by Prophet T.B. Joshua, prophesying that we should be in an attitude of prayer and pray for the nation of Nigeria this coming Wednesday.

The General Overseer of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, says Nigeria’s Super Eagles would defeat Burkina Faso in Sunday’s final of the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

T.B. Joshua, who warned Eagles’ coach, Stephen Keshi to avoid conceding a late minute goal in their AFCON Group C opener against the Burkinabe, told P.M.NEWS that Nigeria’s case in the Nations Cup final this year is like the biblical Jacob who wrestled with God, saying that “on Sunday we’ll tell God unless He gives us our heart’s desire we’ll not let Him go.

“The cloud is darker over Nigeria’s Super Eagles, but with God we’ll scale through. If it were not to be the final, anything could have happened. The first match we played with Burkina Faso, it was just by the grace of God that it ended in a draw.

“On Sunday, our opponents will play defensively because they will be looking out for penalty shootout at the end of the game. They will also play through three of their strikers upfront; one of them very tall and huge player and two others.

“What I’m seeing I don’t want to say it because it would be too frightening, but I want to assure that we’ll scale through the challenge on Sunday.”
The prophet who established a football club, My People FC to groom young players, however, warned the Eagles not to allow Burkina Faso to score first in the final, saying that “if this happened the Burkinabe would fall back to defend the goal, which will be very dangerous for our team. I still repeat that no matter the situation, we’ll scale through.

“The Burkina Faso that we played in the group stage will not be the same team we’ll play on Sunday, even though some of their players are out of the squad due to injuries. They are still a team. But I hope for celebration.”
Joshua said as the giant of Africa, Nigeria last won the Nations Cup 13 years ago, which was too long ago for a great football nation like Nigeria.

“I think God should give us this cup to make the youths of this country happy. Winning this cup at this time of religious intolerance and violence will calm down the youths. I want to appeal to all Nigerians to pray for Eagles’ victory. I would have told you the scoreline but I would rather delay it till Sunday morning in order not psychologically distract the players and their coaches and not to demoralise the losing team.”

Prophet Joshua concluded that he would not want Keshi and his team to come to his church to celebrate their victory after the match because he is not the only one praying for the Eagles to win.

“My voice may be the one louder among the men of God in the country but this doesn’t mean that the team should come to my church to celebrate. I would rather prefer that they celebrate their victory with all Nigerians,”

The nation wakes with mourning today, as yesterday, Saturday December 15, 2012 saw the untimely demise of Kaduna State Governor Patrick Yakowa, Former National Security Adviser General Owoye Andrew Azazi, two security aides and the pilot and co-pilot. They were returning from Bayelsa where they had attended the burial ceremony of the father of the Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan, Douglas Oronto.

These high profile government officials were flying together in a military helicopter when they encountered difficulties and crashed near Yenegoa, Bayelsa.

The question on everyone’s mind, is, where are the leaders, visionaries, intermediaries who are to guide us against such misfortunes? Nigeria prides herself on her deep commitment to and faith in the Almighty God. Were there no men of vision to reveal what the future held for our dear, respected leaders? Will senseless tragedies such as these continue?

Although we are in a sensitive state of mourning, we must remind ourselves that from the time of the kings of the Old Testament, leaders and rulers have sought someone stronger, smarter and wiser than they in the affairs of their governments. Have we, as a nation forgotten that heritage?

The meeting with the pastor was held on Friday, December 14th and the crash occurred on Saturday, December 15th. The question we must ask ourselves: Where was the prophetic message to forewarn of this tragedy lurking in the air? Where was the spiritual advice, guiding against this untimely death? Where was our spiritual advantage? What was the purpose of the prayer offered, with our president on his knees if it was not for the protection of the government and her officials? As one man despairingly wrote, “I wish God had given Daddy GO a revelation that a disaster was about to happen at President Jonathan’s state of Bayelsa. As Mr President was kneeling in front of the Man of God praying for ‘DIVINE INTERVENTION’ Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State and former National Security Adviser Andrew Owoye Azazi and others now make up another statistic of the rising number of deaths in our country.”

Alas, without a vision, the people perish.

When searching for the answers to such disturbing questions, I turned to the internet, our means of communicating a message and uncovering an answer. Lo and behold I found myself face to face with a flurry of news, all regarding a striking message given and repeated not once or twice but three times regarding this exact event.

On January 2, 2011: “People from either a government or society should not enter a plane and say they are flying from one state to another. I see the blood of personalities flowing. They should not enter the same plane and say they are flying from one state to another for any reason in this country. There is danger. This is a plane crash. Any time they are travelling, they should not be more than one inside the same plane. Other people can go and join different planes, not together.”

Again, on July 15, 2012: “The issue of Nigeria aircraft, we are to pray. Those people who matter in society, they should not go inside the plane, together in one plane because I see satan wants to destroy these people who matter in society.”

Finally, on Oct 27, 2012: “Where will these people go, you, Governor, and you put yourself inside a plane and go together with your aid? Where are they going? They should not put themselves inside the same plane, aircraft and go. I’m seeing this thing very close.”

Direction, instruction and revelation had come – but from a little hearkened to voice, a voice that has been abused, threatened and fought against. The voice of God that spoke His Words through Prophet T.B. Joshua, founder of The SCOAN.

“People ask why we say this, why we speak of calamities and they send abuse. Satan is fighting and we too, are fighting? It has become a crime to say, “Don’t go there; it is a trap”. Is that a crime to warn my people of danger?” TB Joshua asked during his service at The SCOAN, where he called for a one minute of silence for the departed souls.

Truly, is it a crime to forewarn of danger?

Or rather, is it not a crime to ignore a warning that would have saved the lives of our cherished government officials?

We must ponder these questions as we prepare to bury our beloved friends, family members, leaders and officials. May their souls rest in peace and may this be the last time.

The terrible tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, USA was a continuation of massacres that have been occurring across America. Twenty-eight people lost their lives on Friday, the 14th of December 2012. They were our children, our sons, our daughters, our sister and brothers, our teachers and friends. What is the way out?

On June 4, 2012, during a Monday Live Service, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied regarding the leader of a country. He said he saw an accident and asked whether it was on the air or on the ground. These were his words.

"Ninety percent of what we're doing here is all about other nations all over the world. Like today, around 3am and what happened. I saw the leader of a country. Whether he is the Vice President of a country or the present--- I saw all of them having an accident. Is it on the air or on the ground? Sometimes, when I want to know what is happening, how does it happen, what is this, I keep asking."

Six days after this prophetic vision was given, on Sunday, June 10, 2012, a helicopter in Kenya had an accident in the air. It carried Minister George Saitoti, Kenya's Internal Security Minister, former Vice President and current presidential candidate.

Just as Prophet T.B. Joshua had stated in the prophetic message, the leader of the country whom he saw involved in an accident in the air was George Saitoti, born August 3, 1945, a Kenyan politician, businessman, economist, mathematician and development policy thinker.

He served as Kenya's longest serving Vice-President, serving for 13 years as the 6th Vice President of Kenya. He served as Minister for Internal Security and Provincial Administration, Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs and key member of the National Security Advisory Committee (NSAC), Minister for Finance and Minister for education.
He also served as President of the African Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States in 1999-2000.

As a mathematician, Saitoti served as Head of the Mathematics Department at the University of Nairobi. He pioneered the founding of the African Mathematical Union(AMU) and served as its Vice President from 1976-1979. This was one of his landmark contributions, institutionalizing Mathematics as a discipline in Africa.

As an economist, Saitoti served as the Executive Chairman of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He had been billed as a front-runner in the race to succeed President Mwai Kibaki as President of Kenya in the upcoming 2013 elections.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may we continue to listen to the voice of God, spoken through His servants. When God speaks, the wise listen. Whatever situation we may find ourselves in, God is still saying something.

It was a day of protests and Nigerians were on the streets protesting the fuel subsidy removal. I knew I would face traffic but I needed to reach the church that particular day for prayer. So, I made my way from Ikeja towards Ikotun-Egbe to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations to meet with their prayer warriors. As I reached a certain place, I saw young people carrying placards, stopping cars along the way and fights were breaking out with the drivers.

Four protesters reached my vehicle. “Who gave you this fuel to travel?” “Where are you going?” “I’m going to church”, I replied the young man. “Church! If you dare say you are going to Redeemed, we will break your head!” They tried to open the door of my car. “You are the one that installed Badluck!” The shout circulated around the area and my vehicle was flooded with dozens of protestors, blowing my car and pressing their placards on my glass. “We saw the photo! Adeboye appointed GEJ! You caused this badluck! Go and ask Adeboye why he cursed our country?” “We will break your car!” I remembered that I had also seen the photo of Jonathan kneeling down in front of Adeboye while the pastor prayed a blessing over him. And I had also seen Jonathan attend his church again sometime late last year. “Adeboye prayed for badluck” “Send back to sender!” “Nigeria no be Egypt! Jonathan no be Pharaoh! Make he listen to the people!”

“Please o, I’m on my way to Synagogue.” “I’m going for prayers at the Synagogue.” “Synagogue? You are going to Synagogue? TB Joshua? The man that’s feeding our country? Na true president be this o! The country is protesting fuel prices and the name of RCCG is mentioned as the cause of the problem? Why should this be? Why has a house of God been named in a political dispute? True president be this? Truly, as I passed the Murtala Muhammed Airport, I remember that TB Joshua’s people were there even then, as he had been sending food there every day of the strike to take care of passengers stranded because of the strike. And he just sent rice to the North, to the South, to the East, as I had watched on Emmanuel TV. In fact, the whole country has been fed through his work of service to God. How many people in this country escaped hunger today because of bags of Emmanuel TV rice? And any time there is a problem, he is there to bring solution. I remember the Ikeja Bomb blast when he opened the doors of the church and he and his workers fed, clothed and housed thousands of people for weeks until they were well and could make their way home again. When the community transformer blew at Christmas time, he purchased and installed 2 new transformers and paid for the light himself! And when it comes to politics, it is from his altar he will call us to pray, come to God in humility and sincerity and come to each other in love.

In summary, I have learned that it is always better to spend more on others and less on ourselves. Giving is the beginning of blessing and peace. Was I not protected because of this pastor’s acts of giving? Let us therefore reach out in compassion and generosity to our fellow man and do the good we can to change the bad we see. It is not through political association but through giving we can accomplish peace for our nation. Emmanuel! God is with us.

Is TB Joshua a prophet among us?

The head of Foursquare Churches in Zambia, Boniface Mwanza, wrote this intriguing article in the ‘Times of Zambia’ concerning the authenticity of Pastor TB Joshua’s ministry…

THERE has been so much controversy surrounding Nigerian prophet TB Joshua, a man renowned world over yet most vilified for his miracle healing services and predictions. The controversies have been raging ever since TB Joshua’s ministry stormed into the public domain bringing into question the legitimacy of his works. In talking about legitimacy, I am referring to the standards as set forth in the Scriptures, which would help us identify a genuine prophet. Who then is TB Joshua?

T.B. Joshua whose full names are Temitope Balogun Joshua was born on June 12, 1963, in a village called Arigidi, in Ikare Akoko, Ondo State of Nigeria. He is married to Evelyn and has four children. TB Joshua, the founder and pastor of the Synagogue Church of All Nations is said to have sparked controversy starting with his mysterious birth. He allegedly remained in his mother’s womb for 15 months before he was born. He attended primary school at St Steven Anglican school from 1971-1977, but failed to complete one year of secondary school. But as he was growing up, he was known as a “small pastor” because of his love for the Bible and ability to predict things to come in his community. He further gained reputation for spiritual prowess after confronting and disarming a madman who was wielding a machete in the school premises. While in school he was the leader of a scripture union.

When Joshua started the Synagogue Church of All Nations in 1987, he just had a handful of members but since then the church has grown far beyond the shores of Nigeria. More than 15,000 members attend the weekly Sunday service. Numerous videos have been produced documenting the healing of incurable sickness, cancer, paralysis, AIDS, showing people’s conditions before, during and after prayer. Medical doctors have examined the patients before and after and have testified to a supernatural activity beyond medical science. TB Joshua does not even claim to be healer but says, “I am just God’s servant”.

TB Joshua has made phenomenal predictions in full view of a global audience on the satellite Christian Television, Emmanuel TV and all of them have come to pass. He predicted the death of president Levy Mwanawasa a month before it happened, the disastrous cyclone in Myanmar, the attempted assassination of the prime minister of Lesotho Pakalitha Mosisili, resignation of Pakistan president Pervez Musharaf, the comet slam into planet Jupiter which caused quite a fray in the scientific community and more recently the death of American pop star Michael Jackson.

On Michael Jackson’s death, the prophet was seen by a global audience via his television network saying, “I see a star being rushed to the hospital but he wont come back home, the whole world will be shocked. He is a great star in his world”. To add mystery to this prediction, TB Joshua sent a message through the pop star’s associates to let Michael come for prayer and deliverance in Nigeria. The associates thought the message a bit misplaced, because Michael was declared medically fit by his doctors and he was billed for a world concert tour beginning July 13. But alas! That was not to be, he died on June 25 before seeing Prophet TB Joshua.

Despite all these happenings Prophet TB Joshua has come under heavy attack from many, some of whom have labelled him a false prophet. And the debate about the authenticity of his ministry unfortunately has been orchestrated by a section of the clergy within the charismatic Pentecostal brand of Christendom. This has left many lay people unfamiliar with scriptures, let alone issues of Christian theology confused, as reverends or bishops are keener to criticise prophet TB Joshua than providing Biblical counsel.

Since the beaming of Emmanuel TV on free channel stations in most parts of Zambia, we have witnessed an unprecedented following of TB Joshua’s programmes. As a result, emotive debates have emerged from the pulpits to the pews, between clergy and lay people. The man has arrived on the scene, should we dismiss him or his utterances as the ravings of a madman? How do we know for sure that we have a prophet among us?

This article is written on the assumption that the readers hold to the sacredness of the Bible as the inspired scriptures from whence we would draw our authority in judging a matter as heresy or sound doctrine. It is against this background that we seek to examine the ministry of this man, in the light of scriptures. There are fundamental rules in the scriptures, which must be used to judge whether something is of God, or not. In the absence of this knowledge, one would easily find themselves opposing God or abetting apostasy. To begin with, if one does not subscribe that the Bible is the inspired word of God, they will have nothing to do with this subject at hand because there would be no basis by which any meaningful discourse can rest upon.

But if we want to find out if he is a fraud as some are claiming, or a true servant of the Lord, we can only do so with the aid of scriptures. Let’s examine for example the standards used in the scriptures to test a prophet. Deuteronomy 18:20; “But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death. You may say to yourselves, ‘how can we when a message has been spoken by the Lord? If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, do not be afraid of him”.(New International Version)

The precise knowledge of the future according to this scripture, is a preserve of the Most High God, and only God can reveal detailed events to happen in the future to His servants. Therefore, if a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and the events take place, then you need to pay heed lest you find yourself opposing the Holy Spirit.

In the book of 1 John 4:2 :“This is how you can recognise the Spirit of God; every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the anti-christ which you head is coming and even now is already in the world”. The authenticity of any ministry is tested by how they profess about who Jesus Christ is. From all accounts, TB Joshua proclaims Jesus Christ to have come in the flesh hence his motto “Emmanuel” which translates God with us. His messages and sermons lift Jesus as the Christ! And what more?

Signs and wonders are daily phenomena in his ministry, just the way it was as recorded in the book of Mark16:20: “then the disciples went and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by signs that accompanied it”.

TB Joshua’s humanitarian effort touches the needs of widows. The physically challenged and orphans have benefited in his educational support projects. Recently the federal President of Nigeria, Musa Yar’Adua, a Muslim himself awarded him with “Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic” in recognition of his humanitarian efforts. Most people who persecute Joshua, particularly clergymen are moved by jealous and envy as he seems to expose fake ministries by his tremendous charities without begging for money. Anyone who is a true seeker of truth can know in the light of scriptures that for sure there is a prophet among us.

“Let me just address my people, Nigeria. The present situation we are in - there is no war between Christians and Muslims. I mean, there is no war between you and your neighbour. I mean, there is no war among neighbours. This is a parable to you. There is no war. Strikes against your neighbour, strikes against your people – this is the wrong battle.

Tell the world. I know the whole world is watching. Listen, our situation in Nigeria – there is no war between Christians and Muslims. The idea of burning churches is to cause conflict among neighbours, to break the commandment which says, "Love your neighbour as yourself". And once the commandment is broken, you are against God. So, there is no war. Love your neighbour. We pray for those who are affected and their people so that God would strengthen them to bear the loss. My message to all: God at all times is assembling for Himself a generation of Spiritual worshippers. Because God is a Spirit, Christ came to declare God to us.

The burning and bombing that is happening, by January, February, March, everybody will forget about this. But economic depression will take over. Economic depression. You should not think about the bombing again; think about economic depression. Our government too should not because of bombing here and there, vote a huge amount of money from their budget to security. They should vote 50 percent of the budget to agriculture. Whatever bombing will fade away by the beginning of this year. It's not something to bother about. To overcome this situation, everyone should come together, both security and every citizen. It is not the issue of security alone. Everything that is happening now, I don't see it anymore on the board. It is just the beginning of this year and everything is over. But think about economic depression.

You are a man of faith, a woman of faith. Trials are the soil in which faith flourishes. I'm just telling you what I'm seeing on the board. This will affect the whole world. Economic depression. The currency will be affected. The year of comeback. A comeback is a return to a place of significance, a place that was lost for a period of time. For a period of time, you referred to the Spirit. We often say, "The Spirit of God says this; the Spirit of God says that”, whereas the Spirit of God is not talking to you. Referring to the Spirit and design in the letter - such worship and worshippers will face challenges this new year.”

Pastor Adeboye Wrong On “Three Persons Of God”.

The name Pastor Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God Ministries, has become a household one through his aggressive evangelism. Apart from seeing him on his numerous television programmes calling people to Christ, and God healing as many as should be saved, I had the first opportunity of his inviting me on his podium and shaking his hand on the stage at Awka, Anambra State. I was then governor of the state, and a few years back had been founding national president of Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) and later national legal adviser of Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI). That was years after repentance, and membership of Pastor Paul Nwachukwu’s Grace of God Mission at Onitsha. I had fellowshipped a few times with Pastor Ayo Oritsajafor, the current national president of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

For all those years, I loved and still love the things of God. I was the first to put signboards running from Onitsha to Benin, Onitsha to Owerri, Onitsha to Enugu, and other places, announcing that “Jesus is coming soon.” That was in 1984, the year of my repentance. When I became governor of the Anambra State, I started doing that which was used to. I initiated the popular Monday morning prayers with workers, live on radio and television, and in market places across the state. This has continued till today, and God has continued to bless Anambra for it. And by the grace of God, I whave grown in faith and written 15 Christian books and pamphlets, which are widely read within and outside the country. So one can say that I have grown from drinking “milk” of he word, to eating “strong meat” and, therefore, cannot be “babe” at the same time (Hebrews 5:12,13). This brief biography is necessary, so that ‘fathers in the faith’ will know we are all labourers in the same Lord’s vineyard (See Paul in Galatians 1 & 2).

Many people have obtained life through salvation of Christ, as ministered by Pastor Adeboye, although many others had also died during crusade stampede out of curiosity of many to have a glimpse of this apparently historic ‘man of God’. So talking as man and from the signs following Pastor Adeboye’s ministry, one could say that God called him. But has God called everybody in the ministry?

In the Book of Jeremiah 23:21, 26, 28, God Himself said: “I have not sent these prophets , yet they ran: I have not spoken, yet they prophesied…How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart… the prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream: and he that hath my “word” let him speak my “word” faithfully. For what is the chaff to the wheat, saith the Lord.”

I am so much interested in the quoted verse, which talks about the “word” of God. If the “word” which is the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers speak is not the “word” oF God, it cannot be for the purpose of perfecting the saints, and for the work of the ministry, or the edifying of the Body of Christ (Eph 4:11-13). In that case, both the speaker and the hearer of the word benefit nothing, and as Prophet Isaiah said in his book, Chapter 9 verse 16, “For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” And in the book of Hosea God warned: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

The above introduction is necessary to bring me to Pastor Adeboye’s teaching on the Personality of God, in terms of whether God is ONE PERSON, or whether God is THREE PERSONS; and whether our God has a NAME. if he does, what is his name? Pastor Adeboye is a Bible teacher and teaches how to pray too, and because he seems to be an expert in this subject, we must carefully analyse his teaching and bring it within the focus of what the Bible says, even as Christ himself admonished that we “search the scriptures, for in them ye thing ye have eternal life; and they are they which testify of me” (John 5:39).

In fully appreciating Pastor Adeboye’s teaching on the Personality of God, we must search the scriptures rather than depend on the “word of man” or such doctrines, which many ministers picked up from Bible schools and colleges.

In Pastor Adeboye’s “Open Heaven” Series, Vol. 11, 2011 – A daily guide to close fellowship with God titled, “Watch your works” of February 22, 2011, he admonished his flock as follows:
“To sustain your Christian life, you must watch against the wind of false doctrine blowing across the world in these end times.
“that some people teach that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one and the same Person manifesting in different ways.
“That some people teach that you must be baptized only in the name of Jesus Christ.
“That another reason people move from the truth into falsehood is that while being taught the truth, they never got grounded.
“That if you have a half-baked knowledge of God’s Word, you are giving room to the enemy to fill you with false doctrines.
“That if you see someone you know who was once in the truth but now preaches heresy take to your heels.
“If you try to convince the fellow to return to the truth, be very careful so that you are not swept off your feet.
“That ironically, those in error claim to be the ones with the truth and their members hold tenaciously to their error.
“And Pastor Adeboye finally asked: “Are you a victim of false doctrine? Call on the Lord to deliver you today. Run to a Full Gospel Bible-believing church for help.”

Before I comment on each of these 10 Pastor Adeboye’s prayer teaching points, as contained in his said monthly Prayer Book called “Open Heavens” of February 22, 2011, I want to make it known that Pastor Adeboye’s doctrines on the particular subject are at variance with the doctrines of Christ and his Apostles and Prophets, which I took time to detail, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse of the scriptures, even as Christ Himself enjoined us to do in John 5:39. Although it seems out of the ordinary to say that one is disagreeing with this man of God on the area of doctrines, which he is supposed to be an expert, we will see the difference when we read Pastor Adeboye’s book, and also read the three copies of my books on The Restored Church (Agenda for Church Reform) in which I fully discussed the doctrines and teachings of Christ and his apostles and prophets. I allowed the Bible to talk to us, but unfortunately our Pastor Adeboye did not think it important to even support anything he said with any Bible chapters and verses as I tried to do in these books.

The Restored Church (Agenda for Church Reform) a 552 page book, which is critical of the present day church doctrines, which are not based up on the teachings and doctrines of Christ and his Apostles.

These three books were published, and presented to the public on October 14, 2010 in Abuja, in an occasion chaired by the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo (represented). The book on Agenda for Church Reform contains seven chapters and 552 pages. Chapter one contains themes such as “Continuing Steadfastly in the Apostles’ Doctrine”, “The Church’s Foundation”, “Who is Jesus”, “The Trinity”, “The Fall of the Church”, “Restoration of the Fallen Church”. Obviously, there would be no need for reformation and restoration if the church had not, by 312 AD, derailed and fallen into doctrinal errors. So we see that errors in the church did not happen today, although the church today appears to be the obstruction in the divine process of reformation and restoration.

We are here saying that although reformation and restoration started a long time ago, they have not ended, and rather continuing till today, and will continue till we come to Ephesians 4:26-27 when the derailed and fallen church might be “sanctified” and “cleansed” with the washing of water by the word, that “he (Christ) might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish.” This is the great goal of the church and Christianity. Anyone hindering this goal of Christ and his Church will discover that even the “gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matt 16:18).

In the introduction of my said book, Agenda for Church Reform, I stated clearly the need for the church reform and restoration and that what we are reforming and restoring are the doctrines, teachings and practices of the church not preached by Christ and his apostles and prophets. Anything we say or do today that fail to conform with the apostolic time and period must be false doctrines. Martin Luther started reforming the church in 1517AD and the process has continued till today, as the Holy Spirit has led the sons of God (Rom 8:14) into their ministry as in Ephesians 4:11-12. when Martin Luther, in 1517AD, began his reformation, the like of our today’s pastors and teachers at that time opposed Martin Luther, calling him names and criticised him for following “every wind of doctrine”. But today, Martin Luther is reckoned as one of the heroes of Christianity, who withstood all deprivations, as St Paul detailed of his won experiences in 2 Corinthians 6:3-10: “Giving no offence in anything, that the ministry be not blamed. But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distress, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watching, in fasting…as deceivers, and yet true, as unknown, and yet well known, as dying, and behold, we live, as chastened, and not killed, as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich, as having nothing, yet possessing all things.”

I gave reasons for continuing reforms and restoration in the church today, insisting that at a time when nations and institutions are engaged in efforts at reforms, as in economic reform, political reforms, electoral reforms, monetary system reforms and so on, is it not strange or curious that no one hears much about church (religious) reforms? Or can we sincerely say that the church, as it is today, has no need for any type of reforms?

It is in this connection that my books on restoration become very significant and coming at a time when, indeed, there is increasing need for the present church system, doctrines or teachings, beliefs, worship, and administration to be re-examined not minding the ecumenical strong and stiff walls as well as entrenched interests of church leaders all over the world. It si my considered view that they are not the church leaders of today that will lead the way in church reforms and restoration. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, is part of our liturgy and it is very instructive. The Pope cannot lead the reform and restoration, nor will church leaders down the line, who have managed to assume leadership at various levels of church organization. But we have already seen above from Isaiah 9:16: “The leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” They are the led that bear the brunt and get destroyed, and not the leaders who cause all the problems.

As I said above, although some reforms were started in 1517AD with Martin Luther and continued by; john Wesley, who preached holiness, and joined by Lutherans, Baptists, Presbyterians, Anglicans, Methodists, none of these divisions or denominations was able to achieve full reformation and restoration. Unless the church today reforms and restores, it may fall within the condemnation of our Lord, as God said in John 4:23: “the hour cometh, and now is, when true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.” The Lord had, in verse 22, made it clear that what the people worshipped “they know not”. We may try to exempt ourselves from those who worship “what they know not” but I say unto you that all are already included, and none today is exempted, not minding, which denominational church you attend, none is better than the other.

The anti-reform church leaders like many of today’s Pentecostal and establishment churches alike argue that there I nothing wrong with the way the churches or denominations they lead function. They argue that church, as an organisation, has made progress sin evangelism and in bringing people to Christ. But bringing people to Christ does not impress God. In fact, Christ had an occasion to rebuke the Scribes, Pharisees of his time and called them hypocrites because they “compass sea and land to make on proselyte (one covert), and when he is made you make him two- fold more the child of hell than yourselves” (Matt 23:15). Does this ring bell in Pentecostal ministries today? Will Christ not also rebuke the Scribes and “Pharisees” of today in our Churches as he did in Matt 23:15?

So God prefers that as a pastor or a Christian that you are well rooted in the doctrines of Christ and his apostles before you start evangelism to win souls for him (Christ). And that is why St. Paul admonished good training and grounding in the knowledge of God and how best he culd run the Christian race set before him, lest that by any means, when he has preached to others, he himself should be a cast away. Is it not possible that most, if not majority of our preachers and church leaders today’s, will be a “cast away” after they have taught others? (see 1 Cor. 9:27).

There is no doubt that Christianity of today has remained perverted, as it was by 312AD during the period we call the Dark Age, and not to continue church reformation and restoration would amount to disservice to God. The attitude of denominational churches that certain things they do wrongly did not matter is unfortunate. And trying to sweep things under the carpet and postponing the evil day have become the norm in the denominational churches.

For example, in baptism, which is one of the most important doctrines of the church of the Pentecost, the denominations today tend to trivialise it. Fro them it does not matter if one is baptised in the “name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.” Or one is baptised in the name of Jesus. Or a 3rd method going to baptise using both names, that is: 2In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, In Jesus Name”! Many churches combine the names so that unbelief. In spite of Matt28:19, all the baptism done by the apostles were done in the name of Jesus, which is what Matt28:19 say, the disciples having known that Father, Son and Holy Ghost are functions of “One God, “whose name in this Church Age in Jesus. No baptism is acceptable except it is done in the NAME OF JESUS, as in Acts 2:38, 4:12, 4:18, 5:42, 8:12, 10:48,19:5 you may also see Luke 24:46-47, Rom 6:3, Gal 3:27, 1Cor 1:13, 15, Col3:17, and Rev 22:16.

I challenge Pastor Adebayo, or any of his associates to show me in the Bible where any baptism was ever done in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. No one can faint that practice in the Bible. Rather, all baptisms were in the name of Jesus Christ. And it is not is baptism only, but the name of Jesus Christ is also used to end all prayer made to the Father. (See John 16:23, which says: Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you).

Again Col3:17 make it clear: “Whatsoever you do in world or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.” It will amount to apostasy for any Christian to abandon, or depart from the doctrine or teachings of Christ and his apostles, because as the Bible says the church is built on the foundation of apostles and the prophets and Jesus Christ the chief comer stone as in Eph 2:20. Even St. Paul went further to curse anyone who departed from the apostles doctrine or teaching. He said in Gal 1:8-9. “Though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other Gospel unto you, let him be accursed.” And in 1 Cor 2:10-11, Paul again said: “As wise master builder, I ave laid the foundation… for other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

The same St Paul, in 1 Tim 4:16, made it clear that doctrine saves as against some denominations, which teach that doctrine does not save, and that that matters is believing in jesus Christ. But we even know from the Bible that calling him “Lord, Lord” will not save anyone, nor make someone enter (See Matt 7:21).

Paul wrote the church saying: “Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine (teaching) continue in them: for in doing that thou shalt both save thyself, and unto the doctrine (teaching) continue in them: for in dong that thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee” (1Tim 4:16). And in 2 Tim 3:16 Paul again wrote: “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine.” So these modem Christian preachers and teacher must tell us where their own modern Bible tells them that apostolic doctrine and teachings divide rather than unite brethren in denominations. By the way, it is because of false doctrine that we have denominations, otherwise in the beginning it was not so; there were no denominations, but one Church, One body, one Spirit, One lord, one Faith, one Baptism, One God and Father of all (Eph3:3-6). Denomination means division, and where there is division there is no Spirit of God. Denominational or “Divided Churches” today are not part of what Christ or his apostles and prophets taught, Contention and divisions in denominations are condemned in the Bible in 1 Cor 1:10-15: indeed, another name for domination is division and contention, and the Angel said: “come out  of her my people and be your separate” (2Cor 6:17).

The only “name” the devil fears is the name of Jesus (see Acts 4:1416-17-18-30) and he laughs at Christians when they baptise and end their prayers in the Trinitarian formula of “Father, Son, and Holy Ghost”. The only name that disturb and distracts and defeats the devil and makes him tremble is the name of Jesus (see Acts 19:13-20; James 2:19), But Father, Son, and Holy Ghost” only describe Jesus as God in creation (Father), God in flesh (Son) and God that lives in believers as Spirit, as the Bible says in Rom8:14: “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.” The name of God in this Christian dispensation is Jesus ever as Christ himself testified in Rev 22:16.

Paul described this unity of God as “mystery of godliness” He wrote: “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifest in the Flesh, justified in he Spirit, seen of the angels preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received into glory.” If there was anything like “trinity” this was the best opportunity Paul had to have taught the “strange” doctrine. Nor will Paul ever have taught Trinity when our Lord had taught “Unity” in mark 12:29.

So, we now have the unfortunate introduction of the Trinitarian baptism and prayers in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which the church, in error, adopted at the Council of Nice in 325AD when bishops in the Christendom met to decide whether or not the church should adopt the Trinitarian baptismal formula. These ws a doctrine that had kept the Roman Church divided for too long. The matter was finally decided by voting, in which all the bishops were evenly split and Emperor Constantine, who was a nominal Christian but chairman of the Christian Council, was asked to cast a deciding vote, and he voted in favour of Trinity. Trinitarian doctrine was not preached by Christ, not by the apostles. It was picked up in the Fallen Church during the Dark Age, and the strange doctrine has refused to be dumped despite our Lord’s clear statement in support of the unity rather than Trinity of God in mart 12:29 “Hear O Israel; the Lord Our God is one Lord” (see also Ephesians 4:3-6 on the Unity of the Spirit, One Lord, One God. But today the church believes in Trinity of God. So, who says there is no need for reform and restoration?

It is the KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD that shall make a Christian an “OVER-COMER” AND A “PERFECT-MAN,” with THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST.

The Bible contains different level of revelations of the Lord.
• As the HOLY CHILD JESUS (Acts 4:27)
• As the CARPENTER’S SON (Matt 13:55, mark 6:3)
• As the SON OF GOD (John 10:36).
• As the GOD to the over-corners (Rev 21:7)
• As the GREAT GOD (Titus 2:13)
• As the TRUE GOD (John 17:3)
• As the LORD ALMIGHTY (Rev 1:8: 2Cor 6:17-18)
• As  the FATHER ( John 10:30, 14:9, 2Cor 6:17, 18)
• As He called Himself, THE LORD GOD of the Holy prophets (Rev 22:6, 16)
• As  the Bible says “THE LORD (JESUS CHRIST) IS THAT SPIRIT” (2Cor3:17)

Every one must decide on which level knowledge OF THE SON OF GOD one is operation. Are you on the level of “Holy Child,” or “SON or GREAT GOD” or “TRUE GOD,” or “LORD ALMIGHTY,” or “FATHER”? Many Christian will never the FAHTER ALMIGHTY because it is not given to them to know, (See Matt 11:27; Mark4:11-12) “All things are delivered unto Me of my Father and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father. Neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and hwe to whomsoever the Son will revel Him” (Matt 11:27). And Jesus added to this in, Mark 4:11 telling the disciples that unot them “it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom; but unto them that are without. All these things are done in parables. That seeing they may see and to perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand lest all anytime they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them.”

HOWEVER, we see that JESUS IS LORD, GOD:

That the same God is Father (John 14:9, 2 Cor6:17-18; Rev21:7)
That the same GOD is SON (John 10:36; Heb 1:5)
That the same GOD, IS SPIRIT (2Cor 3:17)
HE IS ONE LORD AND ONE GOD! NOT TWO!! NOT THREE!!!. GOD IS ONE (UNITY); NOT THEREE (TRINIY) JESUS CHRIST AS MAN, being the express image of GOD’S PERSON (HEB 1:3), NOT PERSONS.

Lastly, and referring particularly to Pastor Adebayo’s 10 prayer points: it is now clear that “the wind of false doctrine blowing across the world in those end times” did not begin today. It started even in Christ’s days when in Matt 15:9 he condemned his hearers particularly the Pharisees and Scribes whom he said worshipped God “in vain” as they “teach for doctrines” the commandment of men.” Does commandment of men not mean “false doctrine”? Is this not what is going on in the churches today when Christ told the church that “God is one person,” no three persons” (See Mark 12:29 and Hebrews 1:3). Pastor Adebayo should lead his army of worshippers back to the doctrines of the church as preached by Christ and his apostles and prophet (Ephesians 2:20). To further show that false doctrine was there in St Paul’s time he warned the church, the Elders at Ephesus against “grievous wolves” that would enter the church ot devour the flock” (Acts 20:28-29). The “grievous wolves have already entered, we are only trying to “force them” out thought church restoration” (see John 16:23). The “grievous wolves” today would be those who refuse to accept the teachings of Christ and his Apostles and Prophets.

On the 2nd prayer point:

If some people teach that God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit are one and the same person they are right. If anybody does not teach that doctrine he is none of Christ and does not belong to the Church of the Pentecost. My books on church restoration are full of Bible passage to support this view. If any Bible teacher is not teaching according to Christ’s doctrine, he should now embrace the truth and abandon his Bible School indoctrination and let his church assembly grow in the knowledge of who Jesus really is.

The teaching that Christian baptism must be done in the name of Jesus Christ only Biblical and is rue as all baptism in the Acts of Apostles were done in the name of Jesus. ( See my analysis above where we noticed all baptism in Acts of Apostle wee done in the name of Jesus right from Acts Chapter 2:38 to Acts 19:5 – more than seven (7) place and none was in the Trinitarian formula of “Father. Son, and Holy Spirit’).

So also in prayers, which must be to the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ, there should be no controversy about this (See John 16:23).

But with due respect I disagree with Pastor Adeboye that people move from truth into false-hood because they were not grounded in the truth. Rather people desert their church and move into a true living church because they have been taught by God, not Bible Schools. In these last days we will no longer be taught by our neighbours or even pastors for God Himself shall write in laws in our hearts (See Jeremiah 31:31-34).

Those who have half-baked knowledge of God’s word are mainly found in the denominational churches where all the “half-baked” Christians are waiting for perfection in the Restored Church. (Eph 5:26-28) It is only when you come out of it will you appreciate the wrong direction you have gone.

7/ Furthermore, I do not share the pastor’s view that if you see anyone preaching heresy you should “take to your heels,  You should confront the devil, the spirit of heresy, and drive the spirit away from the victim I agree with James 4:7 that if you resist the devil he‘ll flee. You should also learn from what Paul did to the seven sons of Secheva (Acts 19:9-16), and Simon the Sorcerer, in (Acts 13:8-12) you  do not run from problem if God has called you to do a thing in Jesus name (not in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit). Talking of heresy didn’t they call Paul a “Babbler” (Acts 17:18), which means somebody who is talking rubbish and who chatters idly in a confused speech, yet he (Paul) was God’s Chosen. 9) I agree completely with Pastor Adeboye when he said that “ironically, those in error claim to be the ones with the truth and their members hold tenaciously to their error.” What a wonderful way to think about all the denominational churches who came out of the “denominational pit” carrying with them all the denominational sand, mud, debris, dirt which when translated means: false doctrines, false teachings, hatred for others, envy, idolatry, witchcraft, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies which are part of the denominational creed and way of life (Gal 5:19-21) – From such turn away! (2 Timothy 3:5).

Just like “the scripture has concluded everyone under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe” so are all in the denominational churches  come under this influence of false doctrine, and everyone there needs to do what Pastor Adeboye prescribed, and that is “call on the Lord” for deliverance. But “running into a Full Gospel Bible-believing Church for help” may sound good but where will you find such.

Accusations of preaching heresy and repeating the old and decadent warning about Christians being  tossed about by every wind of doctrine-these warnings and threats are no longer problem to real believers in Christ. The church leaders’ warnings are only aimed at retaining their membership and continuing to feed them not with the real word of God, but with “over-night manna” that “bred worms, and stank” (Exodus 16:19-20).
Most of our preachers today preach in order to get clapping and applause from their audience. But Christ warned in his days that the praise and popularity – seeking teachers and preachers were on their own. Indeed he cursed them, “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you for so did their fathers to the false prophets (Luke 6:26).

It is evident that most church leaders in every Age cannot be different. These leaders answer “servant of God” not “servant of Christ” Apostle Paul was happy that he could be called the “servant” of Christ.” But whether God or Christ, both are One and the same.
We are told, in the book Philippians 2:6-11, that Jesus being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant , and was made in the likeness of men…” Being “in the form of God” is the same as being God, and Messiah (John 4:26). So, this passage provides the answer to the question how the Man, Jesus could be the God Almighty as more light is thrown into it by St. Paul’s “mystery of godliness” in 1Timothy 3:16.

Furthermore, in John 17:3 Jesus said: “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Here our Lord Jesus Christ spoke as Man, with God in him. And in John 17:11 Christ (as Man) prayed to God for his followers, “that they may be one, as We are one. Here Christ is telling us that both Him and Father are One (as in John 10:30). “I and my Father are One.” As he also told Philip, in John 14:9: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” Even the deaf and the dumb, the blind and at heart should, from all that have been said, be satisfied about the truth of the relationship between Christ and the Father, and that the two are One, unity not Trinity. In terms of “every wind of doctrine wouldn’t Christ and St. Paul, who both kept the law before they preached grace be accused of being “tossed about by every wind of doctrine”? There shall always be “every wind of doctrine” whenever God gives new light and new insight as his Holy Spirit leads his people (Rom 8:14) into “The Present Truth” (2 Peter 1:12). This is the main message we have presented in the three volumes of The Restored Church, which we encourage every serious Christian, or even non Christians, to find time to read. And finally, I pray that Pastor Adeboye can find time out of his crowded engagements for us to have PRESS DISCUSSION on this subject of Personality of God/Tinity, whose topic is of paramount importance to the church, yesterday, today, and for posterity.

On the issue of those who are called “babe” in the Lord, of those who newly repented and who Pastor Adeboye categorized as “not being grounded” in the word of God, or who have “half-baked knowledge” and who could easily be filled with “false doctrines,” my question for the pastor is how old was Saul of Tarsus as a Christian before God called him into his ministry to the gentiles? In fact, we should hear him recant his experiences in the book of Galatians Chapter 1:6-24. Please make out time and chance to read this passage.

You may call Paul’s conversion or ministry to the Gentiles a great miracle, but God, who performed that miracle, is still on his throne, and he can do it again after Paul, but not by might nor by power but his Spirit, (Zech 4:6).

If God raised and used Paul the way he did, he is still well able to do it again in anyone, including this reader. Paul was fairly an old man when Christ called him, but the only experience he had was the persecution of believers. God transformed him from persecutor to the persecuted (Acts 21:27-28) fulfilling the word of God that God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sowed that he shall also reap (Gal 6:7). One very important thing Christian churches all over the world should know is that the church we talk about is owned by someone, in the form of a limited liability company. In the case of what we are talking about, the church is owned by Christ. In Matthew 16:18, our Lord made it clear that he will build his church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. By this declaration, Christ assured that he is the builder and the owner of the church. He has exclusive right over it by this declaration he is the head, owner, builder and founder of the church.

But if there is head, there must be body. So while Christ is the head, the church is the body. The Bible says that the church is built upon the foundation of the apostles and the prophets and Jesus Christ as the chief corner stone (Eph 2:20). But every effort of man has been to displace Christ from ownership of his Church. This is illustrated by Christ Himself in his parable or allegory in Luke 19:12-27, having set up his business he hired men to oversee the estate. But as soon as the Lord travelled, those he placed in charge conspired against him and revolted saying: “We will not have this man to reign over” (verse 14). But at the end, when the Lord returned, all those his enemies who revolted against Him were killed under the personal supervision of the Lord Himself (verse 27).
It is in such a disobedient bracket that the church and the Christians thereof have found themselves waiting to be destroyed, having disobeyed and revolted against the owner of the church for which “he gave his life as ransom for many” (Mark 10:45 and John 15:13) (See also Matt 25:1-13 & Jude verse5).

Ever since Christ established his church both God and man have not rested, as man fell into one disobedience or the other and attracted a just recompense for every transgression (Heb 2:2). For example, Christ Himself said that God is One, and that he is the express image of his (God’s) Person (Heb 1:3). And Mark 12:29, Christ Himself said again: “Hear, O Isreal: the Lord our God is One Lord.” And Ephesians 4:3-6, the Bible says: “There is One body, One Spirit, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, One God and Father of all.”

But the response of Christians has been  to disagree with the owner and founder of the church, and to tell him that GOD is not ONE PERSON, but THREE PERSONS. So when Christ said GOD is ONE, the church HE founded countered that it  is not so, that God is THREE PERSONS, obviously trying to make GOD a liar! But “God forbid: let God be true, but every man a liar (Romans 3:4). Again rather than accept the UNITY of God, the church argues that God is in Trinity, not Unity, and that is after God Himself affirmed what he said in Mark 12:29 and Heb 1:3. But the church and her leadership cannot point even at one verse of the Bible, where Christ and His apostles and prophets taught Trinity instead of Unity of God.

In baptism, Christ charged his disciples to preach, teach and baptize those who believe, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The apostles and prophets of Christ went on evangelism and did what Christ commanded them to do and baptized all their converts in the name of Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:38; 4:12; 5:42; 8:12; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5. Also Luke 24:46-47; Rom 6:3; 1 Cor 1:13, 15: Rev 22:16. See also Col 3:17, where the church is asked to do or say whether in baptism or in prayers, everything in the name of Jesus Christ). They did this because the disciples knew that the “name” of the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit is JESUS. But the church, after “Acts of Apostles” fell back to baptism in the Trinitarian formula, claiming they have authority from Matt 28:19 when the disciples, given the injunction, all went out and baptized all in the name of Jesus Christ. The church today claims that the apostles and prophets disobeyed Christ by not baptizing in the Trinitarian way. But this cannot be true because the Bible says: “The Lord worked with them and confirming all they said and did with signs following” (Acts 14:22; 1Cor 1:6; 2Cor 2:8; Rom 16:. Is it not better for the church to retrace their steps and get into the original teachings and doctrines of Christ, and our apostolic fathers on whose foundation the church was built (Eph 2:20)?

Finally, we have one more example of the disobedience of the church against Christ, the owner, and His apostles and prophets whose ministry was confirmed by the workings of the Holy Spirit of God. Paul commanded in 1Cor 14:34-38: “Let your women keep silence in the church: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also says the law…for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.” And in 1Tim 2:11-15, Paul again stated: “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to “teach” nor to usurp authority over the man, but the woman being deceived was in transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in child bearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Some “learned” big time pastors and teachers say there was special problem in the Corinthians church, which Paul was treating and that what he said had no universal application. So the question is why then did Paul write similar verses to Timothy, as in 1 Tim 2:11-15, and others if the injunction was meant for only one church at Corinth? And if that is the case, it should have been that the disobedience of Adam and eve in the garden of Eden and the fall of human race as result should have also been limited to the husband and wife rather than have a universal or world-wide application.

Should we not then compare Paul’s commandment to the church on woman ministry with God’s commandment to Adam and Eve, which in her (Eve’s) wisdom, or foolishness, she became our first mother and first “woman preacher” to disregard the injunction of the Almighty, which brought about the said fall of human race? As the human race fell with Eve’s disobedience and supported by Adam, so also is the church heading towards the same fall by the disobedience of today’s women preachers again actively supported by their male counterpart, as it was in Eden. So as it was with Adam and Eve (See Gen 3) so it is today with women preachers and teachers, ordination of women as bishops, pastors and church leaders, in spite of Paul’s prohibitions and sanctions of God. So we see history repeating itself that by the disobedience of one woman the human race fell, so has the disobedience of women led to the apparent fall of the Church at this end time.
There are scriptural reasons the church should not depart form the apostles’ doctrine.
The Lord is coming again for a “glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle, holy without blemish” (Eph 5:27).

“For if the words spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward, how shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him” (Heb 2:2).

So now we have seen the areas the church deviated from the original doctrine and teachings of Christ and the apostles, the book of Revelation has properly admonished the church in Chapter 2 verse 5: “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first work.”

As I conclude, one thing that keeps propping up and ringing bell, as a central theme, is God himself. If the church today finally accepts that the name of the Christian God is Jesus (Revelations 22:16), the next huddle is whether this Jesus who is God is the same as God Almighty, as well as God the Father, who created all things and who at the end shall judge all men? (See John 1:1-3 and John 5:21-23).

It is here I rest my case, and I say, like John, the apostle, in Revelations 2:29, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…”

During a recent Sunday service, 2009, Prophet T.B. Joshua, pastor of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos, Nigeria (www.scoan.org) spoke forth a prophetic message concerning an event that would take place in a super nation, at a place bearing the name, ‘Fort’. These were his words:

“What’s happening here is a blessing to the nation and to the whole world. Like today, I have some message. This is not even Nigeria but a super nation. The name, ‘Fort’. We should pray for that name. It may be the name of a big company in the whole world but it’s a name. Pray for this name. It’s a parable because I’m seeing a strange person carrying something. But I said, “No, God, please”. We are praying for the whole world here and we keep praying for the whole world”.

On Thursday, November 5th 2009, a soldier carrying two handguns opened fire on fellow soldiers at the Fort Hood Army Base in Fort Hood, Texas, USA. 13 people were killed and 30 were wounded. Take note of the name – Fort. This was the name revealed by God Almighty to Prophet T.B. Joshua and pronounced by the man of God during the Sunday live service.

“This is not even Nigeria but a super nation.” The Fort Hood Army base is located in Fort Hood, Texas, USA – indeed a super nation, just as the man of God said.

“The name ‘Fort’. We should pray for that name. It may be the name of a big company in the whole world but it’s a name”. Fort Hood is the largest active duty armored post in the whole world and is the only post in the United States that is capable of supporting two full armored divisions.
The base, which officially opened in September 1942, has a proud history, having provided fighting forces to every major US military conflict since the Vietnam War.

Today, Fort Hood has nearly 65,000 soldiers and family members and serves as a home for Headquarters III Corps, First Army Division West, the 1st Cavalry Division, 4th Infantry Division's Combat Aviation Brigade, 13th Corps Support Command, 89th Military Police Brigade, 504th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, 21st Cavalry Brigade (Air Combat), 4th Combat Aviation Brigade and 31st Air Defense Brigade. Fort Hood also includes Darnall Army Community Hospital and the Medical And Dental Activities as tenant units.The fort is also home to the Warrior Combat Stress Reset Program, which helps soldiers returning from war with combat stress and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Take note of the man of God’s action here while giving the prophecy. As he spoke these words, he simultaneously demonstrated a man carrying guns in his hands. The suspected gunman was carrying two handguns – one a semi-automatic – when he launched the massacre against the soldiers.

The attack on the Fort Hood Army Base was carried out by a strange person indeed – a fellow soldier. Major Dr. Malik Nadal Hasan, the suspected gunman, is a psychiatrist. He was promoted to Captain in 2003 and to Major in May 2009. He had just been transferred to Fort Hood in July 2009.

Dr. Hasan had been awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. It is strange for a soldier to open fire on a military base. An occurrence of this kind is almost completely unheard of. Defense Department spokesman Lt. Col. Eric Butterbaugh stated, “This is an isolated and tragic case”.

America and indeed the whole world watched in horror and disbelief as news unfolded of the Fort Hood shootings, reportedly the deadliest ever on a military base on American soil.

Making a statement on the Fort Hood shooting, President Barack Obama said: “My immediate thoughts and prayers are with the wounded and with the families of the fallen and with those who live and serve at Fort Hood. These are men and women who have made the selfless and courageous decision to risk and at times give their lives to protect the rest of us on a daily basis. It’s difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas. It is horrifying that they should come under fire at an army base on American soil.”

Comments poured in from around the world, among them, those who were treated by Dr. Hasan himself: Staff Sgt. Marc Molano was treated by Dr. Hasan for post-traumatic stress disorder earlier this year at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. "Dr. Hasan provided me with nothing but the best care," Molano said. "He was a very well-mannered, polite psychiatrist, and it's just a shock to know that Dr. Hasan could have done this. It's still kind of hard to believe." He described Dr. Hasan as "far and away one of the best psychiatrists I ever dealt with."

A soldier who served two tours in Iraq called Hasan, "a soldier's soldier who cared about our mental health." "Hasan hears nothing but these horror stories from soldiers who come back from Iraq and Afghanistan," the soldier said. "Just hearing it I'm pretty sure would have a profound effect”.

“It is absolutely shocking because you’d assume that if you were inside yoru base in your own country, you would be in the safest place you could possibly be whilst in uniform,” said retired major Jim Panton.

“It’s kind of scary knowing when I go back home in six months, I’ll have to watch my back to make sure I don’t get killed,” said US Army Capt Matt Easter, posted to Afghanistan.

Most soldiers overseas believe they leave the dangers of the job behind when they go home. But these soldiers were felled instead in the place they called home.

“We are praying for the whole world here and we keep praying for the whole world”.
The earth is full of violence. We pray that the Lord Jesus would not turn His face away from us, that He would have mercy on us and show us His salvation.
