The Nigeria Football Federation has dismissed as “utter rubbish” allegations by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) that the nation’s football house is wrought with financial impropriety.

The students’ association, through its director of sports, Godwin Erheriene, had written to LEADRSHIP Newspapers Group yesterday, pointing out that the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick, should be investigated by the government for “pampering himself with so much luxury…while more than 40million of our young people lie disenchanted and neglected in our schools and campuses”.
