750 MB is your mean data balance while 10/1500 are all bonus.

How much did you subscribed?
If so, the good news worth spreading. N500 only. Anyway let me see how it goes. Thanks dan'uwa

That means after exhausting the data allocated to you, you will be charged directly from your account (pay as you browse). When you use a certain amount, some percentage of data will be given to you in turn.
Thanks Iliya. But how much data do I have now. I saw 750 and 1500.

PhonesRe: MTN Introduces Cheaper Data Bundles by tankoy: 9:51am On Dec 05, 2016
Be ready for the worst if you subscribe for daily bundle. Know that auto renewal applies and mtn will keep deducting your 100 everyday sending you 30mb. 100x10days=N1000 and 30mb X 10days =300mb. That's bad. Why not willingly purchase the monthly bundle. They will send you a code to opt out and even when you receive from them a confirmation several times that you have unsubscribed, next time you load N100 they will deduct again.

It was Ncc that saved me. 622.
My advice ,don't go for daily bundle.

Besides Op, all the bundles have been there for long. May be you are an mtn agent. Don't make it look new

I just took a cursory look at your profile, I see you are an angry man. Everybody is rude to you. Offline and online. I can only imagine what life for you is like.

I am so sorry I responded to you. I am more upset I got fooled by you thinking I was being of help. I promise, I will try and avoid you henceforth.

I hope you get well soon and that's me being very sincere.
Thanks for your analysis of me online and ofline. Hope im d first ever to complain of being rejected elsewhere. Im sure if you are NHIS staff, someday, as careful as you are to avoid Tankoy, you will in your painful moment get more frustrated than I have been. When the NHIS get probed... And the anti corrution satellite beems on you as an individual...

If the service of NHIS wasnt good enough to bring relief, I wonder how your wishes would.

I'm not surprised, online or offline, one gets the same response from you people, so sad.

In case you never heard, Desk officers have been thoroughly beaten by those whose lives 'you can imagine' both online and offline to be good.

... but you brought the refusal on yourself.

When you chose A, you were aware that B and C were nearer to you but you chose A. A has been paid in full to cater for you but you want to waltz into B or C and get attention. Does it sound nice in your ears?
did you read that? Very insultive. Very rude. You should be reasonable enough to know i chose A because it was the nearest and you wouldnt expect that I carry along A to my new destination. "Abi you just deliberately chose to be rude?"

If you want B or C change to them. When outside the state or in an emergency, any NHIS hospital will care for you.
youre being unnecessarily harsh and wrongfully judgemental man. I'm on transfer. What? It hurts man. You guys are all the same. Unfriendly, harsh, impatient... Brought it upon myself? So it was my making to have been posted to one place and later be transferred therefrom. The NHIS Enriches some individuals in the name of serving nigerians. What! Thats not a better way of responding man.
Very rude manner of responding.

Yes, emergency case like you are sick, had an accident that needs urgent medical attention.

Health
Management
Organisation.
These organisation deals directly with NHIS and the patients (enrollees). They are the middle man organisation. To get to NHIS, you paSs through them. For NHIS to reach enrollees, they pass through the HMO.

What school are you in, maybe I could help find out the HMO that covers your school so you can reach them for more private talk.
was at FMC jalingo with terrible ear pain. They said thats not an emergency so there will be no services for me. My facility was about a hundred km away. The desk officer told me that emergency means

1. Brought in on stretcher
2. Involved in accident and unconscious
3. When one faints

any other condition isnt emergency.

Specialist hospital too refused to attend to me.

I think we have a long way to go as far as NHIS is concerned in this country.

The language is always thesame. Sorry we dont have calcare center in Yola, Makurdi, Jalingo, bla bla bla. Tired of the bullshit, i did it myself. Its easy. Costs less and requires no expertise. There is nothing frustrating as infinix phone taking the whole day to charge. Brace bru and do it yourself. I can guide u thru. Yo need three thousand naira only for the charging port and the charger. No special tool required.

HealthArogance Of Hospital Staff by tankoy(op): 9:20pm On Oct 18, 2016
Florence Nightingale (of blessed memory), where else do you find her legacies alive? The lady with the lamp, she gave hope to the dying...

That day I woke with earache. The ear just all of a sudden went dumb and painful. I rushed to the nearest specialist hospital with my NHIS docs to access healthcare services, the guy i met told me I did not register their facility as my healthcare provider. I had just been transferred to the town and my healthcare provider was about 100km away. He told me they could only attend to me on refferal. Meanwhile, the ache in the ear was on the increase and i felt like the eardrum was about to rupture.

Disappointed, I boarded a car to travel the 100km rough road with the wind blowing into my ears and worsening the pain. I felt like pulling off the ear for a while.

At the facility registered by me as Healthcare provider, the PMO had no much time to listen to all my complaint, he took his android phone, flashed the light into the ear, then went ahead to prescribe drugs. Antibiotics, analgesic, vitamin C and a sedative.

One week gone, the drugs got finished, then I expected relief, but the pain came alive that morning that I couldnt bear it. I ran to the FMC, walked into the admin office of NHIS and lay my docs down pleading to be attended to. The guy said it they wouldn't because the FMC was not my primary healthcare provider and it wasnt an emergency. I asked him the meaning of emergency. His difinition was
1. When you are rushed on a stretcher
2. When you faint
3. When you are involved in an accident an are unconscious.

So long as one walk himself into the hospital, irrespective of what condition it is, thats not an emergency. He added that it wasn't a right for me to access healthcare services from their facility.

With pains in my ears, disappointment in my heart and frustration all over, I made my way to prepare for another painful journey to my provider.

God bless this lady, Her name is Ruth, I called the company I registered with(HMO or so), and she was the agent who attended to me. I put forward the question to her about the scope of 'emergency', she politely said ' its d way the patient feels'. Ruth asked me to go back to FMC, that she had asked them to attend to me under emergency.

Then I walked into an office where the parameters were to be taken, i greeted the nurse but she didn't answer, thats official I thought. So I stood waiting to take her orders. She looked at me from my hair to the toes as if provoked.

"is this your first time of coming to hospital"
"why ma'am" I said politely
"Didnt you see seat!?
"sorry maam" I replied, "none was presented to me"
" if we have to tell you where to sit..." she said angrily,"how many people do we have to say that to in a day? Bla bla bla...
"Accept my unreserved apology ma'am" I pleaded, but the women went on raking at me for one third of the time I spent in her office.

At the consulting room, the doctor seems to be in a hurry, he took his android torchlight, peeked into my ear, then prescribed some drugs and a laboratory test. He was through in less than three minute, thats understandable perhaps because few patients waited outside.

It was some minutes after twelve noon, this lady opened my file and told me i had a lab test to do but it was late because the lab technichians had closed. So I should return the next day.

To collect the prescribed drugs, they made me sign the NHIS prescription slip signifying I had collected all the drugs, and was made to pay the normal 10%,only to be told at the pharmacy that I had to by the other drugs in the market because they are not in the store.

HealthI Lost My Father In-law And Elder Brother By Careless Sedation by tankoy(op): 4:09pm On Aug 21, 2016
Three years ago, just months to our wedding, my father in-law walked into a general Hospital and was diagnosed with diabetes, the drugs prescribed left him irrational, we rushed him back to the same hospital where he was sedated in an attempt to let him get some rest. The next day, he was still irrational, guess what injection he received again, 5mls of Diazepam Stat. He slept FOR THE NEXT 4 MONTHS NON STOP before he died finally.

This year, my elder brother was involved in an accident which rendered him unconscious. He was rushed to the FMC immediately but was only attended to after about 2hrs. He was bleeding through the ear and remained unconscious for the next 24hrs. When he regained his consciousness, he was in excruciating pains for the next 3 days and irrational too. But at least he could make requests for food, water etc. He could also request to ease himself. Then there again, they sedated him. HE SLEPT FOR THE NEXT 4 DAYS NON STOP. then we lost him.

God help us in this country.

infinix just shot themselves in the leg with this issue of charging problem.
my Infinix port is still very good, yet it won't charge flash charge, I changed chargers, still the same issue.
from what I got here on nairaland, I have even lost faith in this carlscare and those agents answering issues here are high on sth!
To appease is, Infinix should recall all their products and fix for free, the faulty charging ports and data transfer issues.

Just choose the phone setting option. Twould open some kinda complex stuff. Scroll down gently and you'd see something showing the phones network options.

It should currently be on GPRS, change the stuff to WCMDA preferred

Thats it. It twould automically be on 3G
