To be very frank, the quality of cameras that comes with the camon series do not match the price. That camon c9 camera is pretty great

They are. And it's funny how they are the less talked about models of Tecno phones. The camon and phantom models just be hugging the headlines tightly, an now the W5 have join them.
Maybe it's because those ones are targeted at camera lovers while the boom series are for us the music aficionados.

I use the w3 which I bought for 25k in August. Tecno is still is a market leader in making affordable smartphones

The three OEM's namely Tecno, Gionee and Infinix are the most successfull and leading chinese brands in nigeria, their success over the years is mainly due to their ability and commitment to produce cheap and affordable phones to nigerians, I remember the days Tecno N3, D3, M3, P5, Gionee P1, P2, P3, P4 and the rest. These are the phones that made those companies what they are today, but sadly for almost a year now none of these companies produce a low budget phones for low earners in nigeria and africa at large, nowadays you will hardly see a newly released phones by these three OEM's below 5 inch in the market, and the prices is always above 35k, they should remember that there are millions of nigerians that still need low end phones with smaller screen like 4 inch becouse they can not afford the likes of phantom 6, L8, C9, M6 M5, S plus, Infinix zero 4 or hot note 3, if the mighty Samsung the world leading phone manufacturer is still producing a 4 inch phone (Galaxy J1 prime) in 2017 I don't see a reason why Tecno, Gionee and Infinix should not.

My dear, it will soon be outdated, that is the truth. It is already operating in some parts of major areas in Nigeria eg Glo has in VI and they will soon expand. My friend that bought phantom 6 is already using the 4g network there.

4G is currently opening up in Nigeria and will take over in a few years.It is better to be current and several networks are expanding their coverage.It is important to upgrade to phones that are receptiv of the network. That is why I like that phantom 6, it can receive 4g network.

Why not save up anf buy Phantom 6 with warranty for about 90k?

So I want us to share ideas on affordable smartphones that really deliver quality (RAM, Battery, Camera etc) and still won't hurt your pocket.
Mine will be my Tecno W3. Before I used to think that tecno was one of those chinco phones that doesn't last but I was really surprised at how good the quality was for that price (I got it for 25k).

What phones really deliver at affordable prices?

Nokia Will Definitely Knock Tecno Out.. The first 3 days had up to 1 million orders for the phone In China.

That's a massive Milestone.. After the MWC. Tecno may have to keep up with Nokia's pace to succeed.

Nokia and their windows partnership did not go well. How many people are using Lumia without complaining.
I've used Lumia and I remember how complicated it was to use that phone. Had to switch to my tecno because of the Andriod ios

In my opinion, Nokia should just focus on being a great hardware company because they no longer have a high reputation in the smartphone industry. You can't beat a brand that has been consistently focused on creating value since its years of existence.

Been away for sometime cos my market has been moving well. Almost ended up in ritualist den.
But am here now and am fyn.

I want to buy a high end phone.
My choice is either iphone6 plus or phantom 6 plus.
Like y'all know, I like Tecno cos it makes one look lyk a big gal even tho it was bought for shikini money.

I feel like selling off my Camon C9 and get a newer phone as a happening babe.

Truth is I can hustle two of my fav guys and they will get me that iPhone, but I will not lie, after what happened to me, I'm seriously considering leaving this my lifestyle behind. But if I leave it and make my money through hard work, I will have to buy Phantom 6 plus.

So what do you think?

This is with regard to the fact that Tecno W4 has no support for OTG.(Note : For rooted users only!)I want you to try this : Go to playstote and download an app named "Stick mount" install it and plug in your OTG cable,with a USB flash drive already attached,it will give you a prompt to grant root access and make the app default, if it works,it will mount and display the flash drive on your phone.Please try it.

Tecno is currently releasing software updates for some of their phones

Even comparisons on the internet will show the same thing. The tecno phantom 6 is a masterpiece

No contest. I'd favour the phantom 6+ over the infinix though. Performance wise, the p6+ is one of the best out there now.

2. 4G
3. Very Snappy fingerprint scanner that works even without the display on
4. Fast battery charging
5. Dual apps: Two apps can be installed and used at the same time. For example two whatapp applications
6. App lock: A unique password, pattern or fingerprint can be to created to lock selected application(s) . Really cool especially for apps my credit card is associated with.
7. Second space. My phone can be used as two phones. It's like having two phones in one
8. Regular UI and software updates

I would really like to have my hands on that tecno phantom6+ permanently

Seconded, the tecno phantom 6 and 6+ are almost what i'll call a must-have. Their specs are pretty great
