I love this! Let's keep it going! No catches. Just the peace in knowing that you were able to share God's love and wisdom to all those you have contact with and even bless someone you don't know. Have a blessed day!

1. Give God what's right -- not what's left.

2. Man's way leads to a hopeless end! -- God's way leads to an endless hope.

3. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.

4. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.

5. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma--but never let him be the period.

6. Don't put a question mark where God puts a period.

7. Are you wrinkled with burden? Come to the church for a face-lift.

8. When praying, don't give God instructions - just report for duty.

9. Don't wait for six strong men to take you to church.

10. We don't change God's message -- His message changes us.

11. The church is prayer-conditioned.

12. When God ordains, He sustains.

13. WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning.

14. Plan ahead -- It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.

15. Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory position.

16. Suffering from truth decay? Brush up on your Bible.

17. Exercise daily -- walk with the Lord.

18. Never give the devil a ride -- he will always want to drive.

19. Nothing else ruins the truth like stretching it.

20. Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

21. He who angers you controls you.

22. Worry is the darkroom in which negatives can develop.

23. Give Satan an inch & he'll be a ruler.

24. Be ye fishers of men -- you catch them & He'll clean them,

25. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

Now take 60 seconds and give this a shot! Let's just see if Satan stops this one. All you do is: 1. Simply say a small prayer for the person who sent you this, e.g. LORD God, bless this person in whatever it is that You know he or she may be needing this day, ) 2. Then forward to everyone you know relatives/friends.

Peace unto us.

Both of you are kidding right??

I am amazed that some people think this is funny.I dont care who thinks this is over the top.

It's high time people that are running the government know about how people feel about their abuse of power.

If we keeping passing the bulk by saying that whose family member is not shopping money then who are we going to hold accountable for this mess going on in our country. Each one to themselves.
I dont care if my whole family are shopping the national cake all i know is that i would still speak out against such behaviour.I would rather stand for good than evil.

Lets stand up and be counted rather than just follow the crowd.

It was this same forum that we were all shouting murder when it was reported that Oprah said all Nigerians are fraudulent -Yet some people are still supporting this shop and clean mouth kind of behaviour.

I wonder who we expect to change our country by making sure we reach our maximum potential ,when we cant speak out for what is right.
Yeah-99.9% of nigerians believe in God and yet look at the state of our country.
This is nothing to joke about -i refuse to see the sarcasm in all this cause aint nothing funny going in a country that is being ravaged by nonentities.

Yes i said it and i am big and strong enough to take anyone on-So bring it on guys

jejelolatu:

i don't agree with the last line of your post,i think women should dress decently and going on strike over this is a waste of time, the govt already said they are not responsible,so whats the point of the strike??

as regards your other comments ,i do agree with u, and i must say that anybody who associates his or herself with the present day govt must have characteristics of a fraud.
but i wont dwell on that if i were u,certain people on this thread have sold their souls to the devil.its no use trying to change them, they are lostttttttttttttttt.

Thank you my fellow nigerians-
I was wondering how long it would take for people that actually do care about the commonman to talk.
Like you rightly said ,some people have sold their soul to the devil and by the grace of God would share the same hell with him.
All the people that go into politics for the wrong reason.See what they've turned a great country into because of greed.
God help our country.Until we put God fearing people with the right vision-People would continue to suffer with the likes of Kitaun or whatever he calls himself at the elm of affairs.
Shop and clean mouth-Your time would come-Shameless people always trying to keep up with the jones.

stealing without a concience.Keep on looting and dont try your little best to change the idea of everyone in goverment shopping money.
It would be very stupid of you to think that you would get a kudos for stealing what you didn't not work for.
You are in public position to change lifes not to loot the national cake and think it's okay.Where is the fear of God in this. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom-What this means my thieving bruv is that since,it's clear that you dont have the fear of God you are the stupid one .You need to cover your face in shame and also remember that a good name is better than gold and silver which of course you are ready to throw away becos you want to steal from where you didn't sow.

anymore questions? grin grin

Running the affair of lagos he says?
The fact that you can big up Tinubu is enough for me not to even listen to your gabbage.
Whatever you loot in other to ruin the people of that great country, just remember that we are all accountable to our maker when we come face to face with him . May all the thieves at the elm of affairs face the wrath of God in this life and the afterlife.

The youth of this country needs to gather and revolt against all the injustice going on in our country.
We cannot be protected both inside and outside of our house.
Police and armed robbers attacking innocent people left, right and center.
Woe unto those who thinks it's okay to harrass women irrespective of what they wear. Is that the big issue in nigeria right now?how is that solving the problems of armed robbers killing innocent people trying to care for their family, the issue of kids dying due to non exsistent health care sytem,no good education,no money to feed the family, no welfare system and even no quality of life for the citizens of a country that has so much natural resources.A few people are stealing from us and yet we condone this eratic behaviour of theirs. It might not affect you today but who says it wont be your family member in the hands of these psychopaths tommorrow.

Some people are quick to come here and agree with the madness becos of the way some women dress on the street after all said and done-What have you benefitted from it.Has it put food on your table or given you constant electricity? Please let us face what is important and stop loosing focus over what is not.
A word is enough for the wise.
Politics / Re: Lagos Girls Versus Governor Fashola by Tarami(f): 11:06am On Aug 21, 2007
People are suffering, dying of hunger and yet the new govenor that should be doing eveything in he's power to impress the people that just voted him in is busy harrasing women on the street.A nation that dehumanises women would only bring a curse on itself.
Armed robbers have taken over lagos-Killing looting and raping innocent people and yet all what the people in power are doing is harrasing women on the street.
My heart bleeds for this country.
Lets even believe the fact that he knows nothing about the whole situation ? What took him so long to respond to the madness. Here they do again treating us like imbeciles .

What is wrong with you people?
Which business person dey pay tax for Nigeria in proportion to how much profit they are making?
Nigeria is the only country where people like the Saraki's would defraud a whole bank and still be in public postions eating more money and yet still be respected and not hold accountable. We are the ones that can make changes by standing up to this thieves and not hailing and encouraging thier thieving ways.
Business / Re: Dangote: I'm Worth Much More Than Oprah Winfrey! by Tarami(f): 12:17pm On Jul 09, 2007
We need more than this to boost our image abroad??
Please get real. With all the corruption, daft militant kidnapping babies and you think this would boost our image Abegiiiiiiiiiiiii
Business / Re: Dangote: I'm Worth Much More Than Oprah Winfrey! by Tarami(f): 12:02pm On Jul 09, 2007
So Dangote is richer than Oprah.
My question is what has he done to help the poor in Nigeria at least we can see what Oprah has done and still doing to help the less fortunate?
It's okay for all this rich people to throw their wealth in our faces and yet have no concience seeing people dying of hunger, children not in school cos their parents cant afford it.I dont have respact for the so called rich people who only think of how to show off their wealth.

Seun,
I must commend you for the good work at nairaland.
As per putting wrong thread in wrong section, you just need to sound a note of warning to people and not send out an aggressive email.
From all indication you dont agree with all the hyips scheme going around, but then we are talking about adults here and they can only make informed decision based on what they get from people pasting out info.
Can i just ask you this-What if all the members post the wrong thread in the wrong section.Would you then block everyone and spoil the good work you're doing.
Please Life is too short.
