sorry for your ordeal, cos I'm sure you might have been so unease with your dad challenges. but if I may ask how did you reach to the cataract conclusion?, I'm only asking because my dad was in a similar situation early this year_ the chemist/pharmacist told him he has gotten cataract after complaining of eye pain and some growing tissue in his eyes. you needed to see him gulping drugs like his destiny depends on it, not until I asked him to run a test at one of the specialize eye clinic_ it turns out to be an allergy, he was given a new glasses and told to put on dark shades when out.

All you need right now is a specialist advice, and the good news is cataract treatment is totally safe with no risk.

The definitive treatment for cataracts is surgery with the replacement of the lens using an artificial lens. The procedure is very safe and patients regain near perfect vision after the procedure.

N.B: If you think you have a cataract, see an eye doctor for an exam to find out for sure.

Good morning all. I kindly appeal to all medical practitioners here or those that can help in any way. My Dad is suffering from cataract, is beginning to lead to blindness. I don't want to start on how tough things are but I have determined that whatever it takes , I will cry for help & get help. I even registered for free Rotary club. Surgery but haven't heard from them.
Where can I start from please. How do I go about it.
I learnt there's an hospital at PWD naval base or Luth , which would be cheaper?
Please help.
