Pls kindly advise me, I registered for ielts exam on 2 days ago on British council website against November 1 and I picked the payment method to pay later, I have not paid as at now, but now there is another available date which is 6th December and I am ready to pay now. It is possible for me to change my date and re register pls

I sent my MBBS and other documents by FedEx last weekend and I am told it will be delivered on Friday, and I also scanned all the documents that I sent by FedEx and sent it directly to MCC by e mail. My documents are yet to be delivered by FedEx but my status already confirmed that my documents are received. Does that mean they are using the scanned documents that was sent, even though FedEx is yet to deliver my parcel?

I discovered that the ielts exams venues are closed in Ibadan and lagos venues from now till Feb 2015. Is there a way out ?

Pls advice me. I have an existing b1b2 visa that will expire in 2016, and I am interested in running a master programs in the USA, should I go and reapply for a student visa , even despite the fact that I have a existing valid visiting visa that will expire in 2016. If I go to apply for the student visa and he denied, will my visiting visa not be cancelled? Reply pls

Your b1b2 visa cannot be changed to an f1 visa here in Nigeria unless it expires then u apply for a student visa. If u have a visit USA visa and u want to school in the USA, better u go to the school in the USA, process your admission, pay your school fees and your school will issue you I-20 form, the school will be the one to change your status for u at the relevant quarters...this is very legal.

I just sent my MBBS through FedEx today and I also scanned and sent all the documents to MCC by e mail. I know its already late for me as the fswp will end in December, but I just took the risk. If I don't meet up with it, I can always use my ECA of my MBBS for something else in the future or probably use it to process masters programme or write Canadian medical council lincencing exam for doctors.

House, pls, the write up above stated that the Fsw will end December 31st. Is this correct? What if my ECA still not ready by December, what happens ?

I have a cousin in the US who is a legal Permanent resident and is married to an american, now the wife is the one inviting myself and my family as relative to the husband. first i want to know, what are the chances of success since my cousin doesn't think he is financially buoyant enough to invite me hence the reason his wife is the one inviting us. Secondly, someone told me i don't need to pay visa fee for my daughter cos she's still a toddler while the other person said i do. All efforts to confirm from the embassy have proved abortive. My wife and kids are intending to attend a wedding in the USA next year with me. I have a visa but my wife and kids have to apply for their visas. She is a business woman while I am a medical doctor, I can sponsor our trip and she can as well. During filling the ds-160 form, should she fill that she will sponsor the trip, or that I, the husband will sponsor the trip?
Who BTW us will look good to say will sponsor the trip

Its is better u sponsor yourself and don't say your sister will sponsor u, unless u are less than age18, that's when u can say u can be sponsored. Vo will not take it lightly with u if u say your sister will sponsor your tripat an age more than 18.
There is a car park at the embassy, but u can't go in with your phone and car key as the security will not allow that. U have to go with someone that will stay behind and keep the custody of your phone, keys and other materials. Does that answer your question ?

ekpotek: When you are filling the DS 160 form you will be asked if you are travelling with anyone. Here you will enter the name of your wife and kids and their details. When filling the form for your wife, the same question will also be asked. Enter your details and the kids. When filling your kids form also enter your details and wife as this question would be asked. Pay the visa application fee for each applicant. Go to the appointment website. Start first with your details and payment receipt, the system will asked if you want to schedule a group or family appointment. Choose family appointment and enters details for your wife and kids and choose available date. Cheers

My wife and 2 kids (ages 2 and 4) are desiring to apply for a USA visiting visa. How can I merge my kids with my wife for the interview since they will fill different ds-160. Or will I just fill the forms differently, and during the interview , I will just submit their passport and forms together and should I tell them at the embassy that they are all together? My worries is that they might see them differently, and also, how can I schedule same date interview for them?

I am a medical doctor, already started with MCC evaluation of my MBBS certificate. My friend doctor also is interested. He wants me to advice him if he can start from now, as I already told him his MBBS evaluation is what takes time as I don't even know my own fate too.
Does he still have time if he starts sending his MBBS sent to MCC from now

ekpotek: Actually I am going to New Orleans. I entered in my DS 160 form that I would fly Delta, via Atlanta if I use Delta airline. However I can save over 100k if I fly with Qatar airline via Dallas. I would just explain to POE that I go a cheaper flight better than Delta. Thanks

Whatever airline u fly with does not concern anyone, so far u travel to the state and city of where u told the visa officer at the time of your visa application. Take whatever airline, it doesn't concern them, so far yougo to the earlier destination if its a new visa you are issued

Please, for someone who wants to attend a wedding in the USA next year June, when is the best time to go for the visa interview? Can such person go for the interview 8 months before the wedding ?

ekpotek: Hi house. I was issued a US 2 years visit visa last month. I had entered in my DS 160 form that my point of entry and exit would be Atlanta as I am going to New Orleans for a conference. I also stated that my arrival date will be 30th Sept. Now I want to go through Dallas and arrive a day earlier as this ticket is cheaper and I have got another invitation to attend a preconferemce meeting on the 30th. My concern is will there be any issue at point of entry at Dallas for change in travel plan and route? Note I have travelled to US before, that was in 2008.

Just explain this to them at the POE. Occasionally, the officer at the POE might drill you to ask why changing your plan. I was drill also during mine ,I filled the Ds 160 that I was going to Denver Colorado, ended up going to Minneapolis Minnesota. The officer drilled me why I changed my plan as it was not what I told the visa officer when I applied for the visa, but I explained and he understood

But house, I want to ask , can a medical doctor applying for the FSW start a fresh application, considering the time duration that the MCC will veryfy the MBBS certificate. Can a doctor start a fresh application from now? Can such doctor still meet up with the deadline please ?

are u a medical doctor, if so, u will pay almost 500 Canadian dollars, 260 for registration , 145 for each doc verification, 95 for eca..... All these u will pay with either a MasterCard or visa card. Are u clear?
