hello good people of NL. pls i want to ask this question; what happens if after the first year of my masters programe in the usa i dont have money to pay for the second year, like i have fully paid for the first year fees but after the first year finished, i am unable to pay fee for the second year.. what will likely happen to such student ? or must someone have the whole cash for the whole masters programme before commencing the programme? replies plsss

Hello House, Please how do i start the whole process of securing an admission for my Masters of Public Health, MPH, in a US University, like University of Louisiana, but i dont know how to go about securing the admission, also i have a valid US B1B2 Visa, although i have only used it to visit the US around June last year. Can i have the visa changed to F1 from here ? pls advice me. I am a Medical Doctor

I am a Nigerian, currently unemployed, but will liKe to visit the US for a few days. I have an uncle who has sent me an invitation and his passport copy. I just finished school and waiting for the National Youth service corps (NYSC) in which my batch does not get enrolled untill November 2015.. I need to Know my chances of getting a visa, I am 28.
I really want to Keep it straight and honest as I feel I can answer or explain any questions asKed. I have filled the DS-160 form and stated in it that I am unemployed, in the box where it's is asKed to explain, I stated the same reason that I had just graduated from University and awaiting NYSC.

I am just curious to Know what my chances are, it's not a do or die affair for me tho.

Are you joking or what .......how can the VO help you when your visa is a visiting visa and you are suppose to return back home?.........help you to remain illegal in the US?......this is some of the reasons they deny genuine visitors who are going there for either schooling, birthing or tourism because few peeps go there abuse there visa conditions and when genuine individuals appear for interview they are denied........and just know that whatever actions you take now will affect several others coming behind you both those who are your family members because whenever any of your family member wants to travel to the US and they check the system and see how you abscond, it will be straight denial for them, and tomorrow we blame the VO's for been hard on other applicants............l taya for you ooo

*the family inviting us are american citizens, but they re currently in Nigeria working temporarily. Its their son who is also an american that is getting married in america. He is marrying a full white american lady. The wedding will hold in america but the parents of the guy that is getting married are the one inviting us, and they are currently in Nigeria for a contract which will last till December. They just came to Nigeria recently for a contract job, they have been resident in america for about 30 years.
Considering the fact that the people inviting us are currently in Nigeria, will it not affect the chances of securing the visa?

I have a valid visiting visa. We are planning to go for a wedding in america with my wife and 2 kids, ages 5and 3. I have once travelled to america, spent 5 days when I was invited for a similar wedding 7 months ago, but now, the younger brother of the person whose wedding I attended 7 months back is getting married in September. Already I have an existing visa, and my wife and kids wish to go with me for the wedding. Will it be better for my wife and kids to apply for visas together or my wife alone should apply while our kids are left behind with our grandma ? although, we are desiring to spend just 5 days.

I have a valid visit visa which I got last 4 months, I got 2 years multiple and I have been to the USA just once spending just 7 days on my visit. Now my wife and 2 kids are desirin to apply for visa also. There is a wedding we intend to attend in Ohio, a family friends wedding. I got my own visa on the platform of the same wedding but it was the elder brother of the person doing wedding that time and now, his younger brrother is gettng married in june next year.what are their chances ?
