I think Mikel will go into coaching. Ndidi seems to be more interested in the business side of things as he is pursuing a business degree,

I have not for once said what they are saying don't happen. what I am saying is that, without names, nothing can be done except you want the law enforcement agencies to go on a goose chase.
This is why you need evidence.

Another way is for our lazy journalists to go into investigative journalism, a collabo with some spies, and set some people up randomly just like some foreign journalists did to Salisu. How come we don't do such here?

Law Enforcement will have a case if they get players affected to testify. There have been many players involved in this. If you get 3-5 to testify, you have a strong case.

There would also be bank transfer records in some cases.

Many players will not want to go that route, it draws attention to them. Even Obasi is getting pressured and he mentioned no names.

"I think it is very tough if a coach is already an agent," Amokachi continued. "It is very, very difficult, and that is why I always say you cannot be a coach and be an agent at the same time.

"When the World Cup comes around, you always have a lot of new players showing up," he added. "Players who will decide that they are Nigerians and bring confusion into the team.

"When you find yourself in that situation, you try to advise, because you have agents that will be calling left, right and centre.

"If a coach is an agent, he will fall a victim too. Those are things that we really really need to avoid. There is no room to be trying new players."

Its dishearting and shameful to see few shameless fans here barking down on the claims of sarki and obasi with regards to their interview on ex eagles coaches demanding for bribe from them before before they will mk the super eagles team.

Its was obvious and glaring to every real soccer fan prior to the 2013 afcon and 2014 world cup. Obasi in the second half of that season was a regular figure in schalke who were in the champion league that season. He was miles better than uzoenyi, uchebo and nwofor.

A certain gabriel reuben who didnt play a league game all season in lowly rated scottish side kilmanock made the world cup team, same with uchebo who had only 6 goals that season in the colors of cercle brugge whereas imoh had over a dozen goals with sizzling performances in the same league.

Even osaze odenwingie who was doing well in the epl then was forced on keshi whom have already pencilled him down to be dropped. The likes of ekwuekwe and one other local based defender that i cant remember his name made the list at the expense of heereeven's young cb then in the person of otigba.

After the 2013 afcon triumph i was happy but wasnt satisfied with the way selections were made and i knew that in no distance time that "fowl yarsh go blow open" which started immediately after the 2014 world cup.

Its only a myopic mind will stand and boast that keshi isnt the most corrupt coach ever to handle the super eaglez

Players who keshi denied deserved places in the 2014 world cup were

Obasi- schalke 04
Obafemi martins- seatle sounders
Imoh ezekiel- standard liege
Ike uche- villareal
Abdul ajagun- panathinakos
Kenneth otigba- heereveen
Sone aluko- hull city
Taiya taiwo-dynamo kiev
Brown ideye- dynamo kiev
Haruna lukman- dynamo kiev

Reuben Gabriel did not play football for almost 3 seasons but was in the world cup squad.

For all we know, the Sarki guy could have paid a bride to play for Haiti..
I can't imagine what kind of passion will make somebody play for a country like Haiti..

His chances of playing for Nigeria have disappeared and Haiti is an option for him.

Why would he mention a name, everybody knows this is a modus operandi in Nigerian football not like he is making an outlandish claim, and mentioning a name could put him at security risk

This is Nigeria you would blow a whistle and go missing and nobody would care

Emma Sarki came out with a similar accusation without mentioning names.

Sometimes, the players themselves are not completely clean. They have also paid money to someone early in their careers.

You will be hard-pressed to find a National team indigenous coach that has not been involved in corruption whether directly or indirectly.

Sometimes, it is the players that entice them with money through their agents. We are not talking about small money, thousands of USD.

So even when the coach does not demand money, they would have money dangled in front of them.

Look at the case of Salisu.

Just remembering those times I think there have been two Nigerian coaches who I haven't heard much accusations about them, that is Eguavoen and Shuaibu Amodu and if memory serves me right both of them always featured our best when they were coaches. The only thing was I think their man management and tactical acumen was poor.

Eguavoen was corrupt too. Very corrupt.

A modu, I have not heard any negative stories about.

Largely rumour, never came out to say. Keshi approached him during preparation for 2014 WC he still refused to play for us

Not a rumour, he actually wanted to play for us, later. We only approached him once under Vogts. Never approached by Keshi.

Nigeria should conduct more COVID-19 test.

Testing may kill more Nigerians. The Fear you tested positive to COVID-19 can kill faster than the virus itself.

Will you submit to COVID-19 test if you have no symptoms?

The danger is that you can infect a loved one who would get seriously ill. Best to get tested so you can be isolated.

The sad reality is that if the South takes a step forward in the battle against Covid19, the North will drag it ten steps backward.

We are not only dealing with a highly contagious disease, we are dealing with a highly ignorant people.

There are as many ignorant people in the south. Is it not in Lagos that people were crowding banks inspite of a highly contagious disease.

Why is she still in detention after 43 days since she's hale and hearty?

It means she is still testing positive.

Many Covid 19 patients show no symptoms. That is part of the reasons why it spreads easily. 43 days is not uncommon. How long was elrufai and Atiku's son positive?

I am all for Black Americans contributing their talents to Africa and rediscovering their roots here, but I hope our basketball team does not become a dumping ground for Team USA rejects. It may be a short term fix but it will harm long term homegrown development.

Our local basketball scene is decades behind the NBA. Not just in structure but in talent. It will take a long time to catch up.

Team USA rejects can get up on the podium
