You have to confirm from them the impact of a successful AR and if they will allow you to enroll with the next cohort if it is successful

Administrative review will work if

1. You have time to overturn the decision, CAS has not been cancelled and you can resume studies with your session- review can take weeks and months

2. You clearly have an argument backed with evidence to say that UKVI didn't contact your bank

3. Your funds are intact and bank statement ready to be resubmitted if requested

The deadline in your CAS has nothing to do with UKVI's decision to contact you now

My opinion, defer your admission, reapply and address this refusal when it's time

If you can continue receiving lectures pending the time you get your visa sorted through AR with the school knowledge, fine. Or beta still, lobby for extension or request new CAS for the next entry period. Better still, request for the bank and the school to contact the UKVI on your behalf just like this link below. It took less than a week.

Ukvi mentions on gov.uk that they must be able to reach your financial institution, if they can’t then do not use such an investment or whatever place. All this could have been avoided. Pick urself up and make ur next move

Best advice: defer your admission to the next academic session and reapply then.

@ the bolded ,can they provide a letter/evidence to show no contact from UKVI??

Regardless of whether you go for a review, you won't be able to meet up with the session, it will be worth deferring it

Personally I would complain to UKVI if you are absolutely sure they did not contact your bank,
may I ask if your bank is a Microfinance bank?

if u go for admin review u cant meet up with February deadline.. even if u reapply with priority u cnt meet up with a feb 13 deadline. This problem looks like u used microfinance bank and that’s a big issue on its own as 10 out of 10 times they are unreachable. Sorry about the situation

Is it a regular bank or one of those unreliable micro finance companies, because they claimed that they found it difficult to contact the bank

“To confirm your bank statement, they are unable to get through to your bank”.

You can try your luck through administrative review.

Each time I make enquiry the response I get is my application is being worked on. Yesterday, Sheffield Students escalation team sent this email and I don't understand what they mean. My question is..

Do I still stand a chance of getting my Visa considering that deadline to enroll for my course is Monday 13th?

I am so stressed that I don't even know what to type anymore.

Your words of advice and contributions would be highly appreciated.

Hello House!! The whole thing with UKVI is really very tiring and frustrating. Did biometric at Tls Ikeja 30-12-22.. till this moment, no Decision made. I’ve made paid call twice/paid mail, escalated the case too but nothing yet. Was told to wait another 15 working days.. problem now is my school has resumed since 23rd.

Although I’m keeping them on the know, it’s still very annoying as application is stuck at DMC and if delay continues it may be impossible to meet up the deadline for late registration. Is there anyone with a similar case? I’m confused as hell

I hope you all are doing great. Please at this point I don't know if I'm the only person in this position of his application stucked at DMC for getting to two months after biometric.
Like people who have made several paid calls and are sending mails almost everyday

I did my biometric on the 9-12-2022 and still at DMC and after every call and mail the response is awaiting decision.

Hmmm, please if I'm not the only person let all of us come together here and join hands in faith to break the hand that is holding our decision just as people of Israel joined there faith and pulled down the walls of Jericho.

Do you know if a dependent can travel before the MA? We have the same issue as a lot of people here. We submitted application for MA (my wife) and 3 dependents (me and 2 kids) and all of us received BRP email by Dec 15th. The dependents passports were returned but the MA is still stuck at DMC, no collection mail yet.

We’ve made paid calls, escalated, send emails, still no passport. The school resumes Jan 16 and the absolute latest to enroll is Feb 3. We’re just hoping this gets resolved before then.

I’m wondering if I can go ahead, figure out the housing situation etc before they join after receiving my wife’s passport or will there be issue for dependent to enter the UK before the MA.

Hi everyone, I did my biometrics 29th of December and it was priority. I haven’t had any emails or any nsf. I have done paid calls and paid emails but all saying the same thing, “application under consideration and waiting decision”. I did an escalation which I got a response that my application is getting worked on. I don’t know what to do as my school is resuming 23rd and everyone submitting after me are already getting their visas ��. I’m so sad right now.

Seriously many cases reported like these seems to suggest administrative or system issues at the UKVI.

Aside from using paid mail or call, there is a complain option on the UK Government website where applicants can submit a complaint about application to the Home office for intervention. Because believe it or not, the contact centre staff just give custom response to inquiries made through paid mail or calls. Just like what applicants see on tracker.

@Tboy243. In same shoes, 6th Dec. 2022. Yesterday UKVI saying they have escalated and to wait another 15 working days before contacting them.

A decision that has been made since 27th Dec. 2022.

Any insight from anyone would help please.
