dorothy0324: I got this message last night.... Thank you for applying to the Entry-level Training program, we appreciate your interest in our organization and success.
We had an extremely competitive pool of candidates and though your qualifications are impressive, we regret to inform you that we will not be moving forward with your application.
We greatly appreciate your interest in working with us and wish you the best of luck with your job search.
....... I was confused because I have a bsc & msc degree (excellent grades) + almost done with ACCA ,I'm less than 24years and done with nysc but yet I wasn't shortlisted because they had an extremely "competitive pool"... what do you guys think?, I don't even think masters or any professional qualification was a must or was it? I think you are over qualified for the job. They probably don't know how to tell you that's y they said your qualifications are impressive. May be the job dat is available is too small for someone that has your qualifications. |

Tboy243: I applied too, but haven't heard anything from them yet. Could it be because the offer of admission I have is conditional and I haven't done English language proficiency Exam. Am keeping my fingers crossed anyways. .....Is there anyone to tell me what i don't know? ....Do I stand a chance. |

LordCenturion: Human being are known for wickedness, especially black people, how can u wish ur fellow human death,we see people that brought this upon our head as god, everyone knows that things has been worsen for Nigeria from the past, and it shall be continues so until we started thinking with our brain instead of our anus ....am not In support of buhari administration, but remember that something u wish for someone else will also hunt u, where are the people of 18th and 19th century, they are all dead, that how our generation will also be a thing of past tense soon... .....Good talk jarey.....You are among the few sensible people we have in this country.............. ......Buhari is not dead, haters go to Hell!! |

Politics › Re: Buhari Has Special Clothing For Sickness by Tboy243: 5:30pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
I just feel pathetic about the kinda heartless and senseless human beings we have in this country as citizens. Y'all had better go and find something doing and wish for anybody's death only if it would add value to your lives and will stop you from been stupid and shallow minded. That's my advice tho. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Special Clothing For Sickness by Tboy243: 11:45am On Jan 28, 2017 |
abouzaid: very true but the reason is because buhari is not seen as a man deserving of our compassion, when president musa yardua was sick, nobody called for his death so why is buhari's own different? I understand you, but u still don't get, no matter how bad it is we aren't meant to wish or see other people dead when we don't even wish for our enemies' death why would we wish a president dead. Of what benefit would it be to us, is that a guarantee that his death would bring us out of this mess we are in, let's ponder on it. Wishing or praying for someone's death be it hated one or loved one is no different from how cannibals that dine over (dead) humans like them and or attempting to kill someone if we have the means. That's not humanely enough, it's not cool....and it's not Nigerian!! |
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Special Clothing For Sickness by Tboy243: 11:07am On Jan 28, 2017 |
emmasege: Truth be told, many Nigerians are tired of Buhari-inflicted hardship and the thought of having to endure him till 2019 gives so many people high BP. Thus, any event that will abruptly terminate his stay in office, will be widely celebrated by many Nigerians. so that means we should pray, wish for and even celebrate his death?......where is our compassion,..Nigerians have completely lost empathy to even the closest persons that has one or two problems. GOD!!...we talk about death like someone would just sleep......ahn ahn.....no matter how bad it seems are we meant to be happy when someone is dying an ordinary human oo,not to talk of president of the country. Am not too much of a fan of buhari, but I must say that Nigerians are part of the problems Nigeria is facing. |

Jindu396: For the past 2 days, I have been reading the thread from 1 - 117 I was enjoying the whole gist especially pijay who with some other guys made it interesting for me , I read when he applied, wrote exam , screened and went to camp It was so interesting @ a point I became afraid and discouraged when he shared the camp experience especially those two casualties it all sounded strange then again I was encourage when I saw their picture "nairalanders" and here he is again guiding us like he was "Pijay " which he promised to do, I pray we get there as well if it's our destiny and the Lord's willing Amen. hnnnmmmmmm...I have gone through the thread too,First, I must commend the efforts of sir Tenderlaw for his selflessness always willing to help and Oga pijay, despite scaling through, he still remembered those he left behind, you guys have shown a remarkable high sense of responsibility, with more of people like you, Nigeria will be great again. From what I read, its indeed a mixture of sweet and sour story. It means we have to start preparing our minds for the unexpected, this one that people lost their lives, its scary indeed. But as you have said, it's just God's will that can make us achieve it, if we are destined to. All in all, the thread is a story field with adventures on its own, it got me thinking at a point that have I not signed in for something more than my power? Because Oga Tenderlaw said it, it's not over until after POP..(big words)...Anyway, God dey, there is light at the end of the tunnel. ONWARD TOGETHER! ! |

And also, are there no Universities in the UK that accept waec certificate in English Language as English language proficiency evidence? ....because I have checked lots of them including University of Manchester and University of Salford (this is what I got from SALFORD:...... if English is not your first language, that your command of English meets the standards required for postgraduate study (an IELTS score of 6.5, or the equivalent, is the norm) |
Education › Re: 2017/2018 PTDF Scholarship Scheme (Overseas And Local) by Tboy243: 11:50am On Dec 24, 2016 |
DMainMan: He is right. You should have done research. Learn to accept constructive criticism as no one knows all. We are humans and you are bound to make mistakes.
For schools in the UK approved by PTDF, you can choose University of Manchester or University of Salford.
if you had 2.1 choose University of Manchester as it is in the top 40 in the world and highly renowned globally. If you had 2.2 apply to Salford as they accept it though it is lowly ranked.
The departments in both schools accept WAEC English.
All the best please, kindly assist me with the list of UK Universities that offer unconditional admission when someone apply. Thank you. |
