Celebrities / Re: Leo Mezie: "There Was No Need For Transplant, My Kidney Began To Heal Itself" by Tdonks: 5:01pm On Nov 24, 2016
NaijaCelebrity:
Nollywood actor, Leo Mezie has shared the story of his miraculous recovery from a Kidney ailment he suffered few months ago.

The actor said he had a clergy, Apostle Suleiman Johnson to thank for footing his medical and travel expenses to the United Kingdom health facility, where he had hope to do a transplant.

He also appreciated his wife, family members, fans, colleagues, as well as the media for standing by him throughout the trying times.

The movie star said his rapid recovery has compelled him to believe Jesus Christ more than he previously did. “I had thought that I would die,” Mezie told Allure Vanguard during a press briefing held on Tuesday at Ojez Bar, Surulere, Lagos.

Read His Story Below...

“I don’t know why Jesus chose to give me a second chance, but I believe it’s to serve him, and this time around in everything I do.

At a point, I was ready to die. I had lost all hopes and was already making plans to return to the village, but God gave me a second chance to life, so that I can win more souls for him with my testimony.

We had concluded plans for a kidney transplant; donor’s treatment, medical bills, compensation and lots more, but God turned my case around.

After series of prayer, the kidneys that were diagnosed and confirmed damaged began to pick up and heal. At the long run, I didn’t have to go through any transplant; the doctors were amazed at the sudden transformation, which could be done by only God,” he said.

“My biggest appreciation is to the Almighty God. Despite my sins and shortcomings, he still found me worthy to receive his mercy. Then to Apostle Johnson. The man of God who gave me money and took care of all my medical bills. I’d also like to thank my wife, who stood by me in this challenging time despite all odds. I owe my life to you. To my colleagues, fans and the media, God bless you all,” he added.

Religion / Re: Why God Allows Bad Things To Happen To Good People by Tdonks: 10:35pm On Sep 11, 2016
Jesuobu:
You’re shaped by your experiences in life both good and bad, though most of which where beyond your control but God allowed them for His purpose of molding you to what He wants you to be. God intentionally allows you to go through painful experiences so that you know how to help those in pain because he comforts us in all our troubles and wants us to learn from His fair treatment and transfer it to others when the need arises.

Take for example, with the case of Job, God allowed Satan to do everything to Job except to kill him and what was Jobs reaction? “Though he may slay me, yet I hope in Him (Job 13: 15). Job did not understand why God had allowed the things He did but knew God was good and therefore continued to trust in Him. Ultimately that should be our reaction as well and not crying and shouting “God why me?” and speaking ill of Him in some cases.

Rather my dear brethren, be thankful for everything that happens to you because great souls are grown through struggles and storms and seasons of suffering and remember that there can never be rain without storm and neither will there be harvest without rain. In the end of the struggles you will come out victorious and you will realize the true intention of God was far different from what you have always thought.

Another reason why God allow bad things to happen to you even when you’re His child, is not to make you cry but It’s His deliberate act to shape your heart to love Him more. So God allowed those things which you see unfair because He knows a tree that is blown by tough wind does not grow strong root. Everything you face is just to make you strong and eradicate the fear of evil and death.

So my brothers and sisters whatever you face, be patient with God because He knows what He is doing. Thanks and God bless.

Written by Jesuobu(i.e. Jesus thank you)

Why do bad thing happen to good people? Because when bad happens to bad nobody sees it.

You remember when Jesus says... This is not unto death but that the Son of Man should be glorified.

your answer will determine your original decision!
thanks

Pls, lets not be quick to condem other people. For the fact that he was free to share his emotions should give room for solutions.

Lets encourage one another just as Christ encouraged us.
What this our brother (OP) needs is encourgement and I think it will be wise if we could be positive about that.

Sai Baba!! cheesy

Thank God this is neither coming from Punch or SR, otherwise the Bolton Wanderers would have had so much to say.

Real Nigerians (as opposed to Ugandans) stand solidly behind you sir. We know what a state Nigeria was before you took over and know what a herculean task it would be pulling us out of the abyss. We aren't there yet but we sure are making progress. With time, we shall begin to reap "bountifully" the benefit of the good choice we made at the polls.

God bless Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria.
God be with Buhari.

Celebrities / Re: Georgina Onuoha Blasts Buhari On Subsidy: You Are Uneducated Leader by Tdonks: 2:21pm On May 12, 2016
Quakertellicus1:
Hmmmmm...

For some reason, Ms Onuoha has no understanding of how economics works.

1.She wants subsidy to continue.....when at the moment thanks to low oil prices....we do not have enough revenue....and as a result....we do not have money to pay subsidies.

2.And anyway...subsides are a waste of money. That was explained back in 2012. If Nigerians don't get it...na because they want awoof.

3.If you want to pay N40 for fuel....which Prof David West made clear back then....just that people have chosen to ignore that bit of his sentence....we have to improve refining capacity. Nigeria can refine less than 17 million liters of fuel daily. We need 43 million liters daily...which is why we are importing. Some experts even think we need as much as 70 million liters daily.Ms Onuoha better put pressure on PMB to build those promised three refineries.

4.Finally.....let us stop talking about old men.

The reason why old men like PMB, OBJ even Gowon keep coming back is because Nigerian youth refuse to take an active part in party politics. The old men run around....while the under 40's spend time on their tecno phones...and clubbing.
Miss Onuoha and some other guys probably dont understand somethings about the state of the economy and how change affects things in any circumstance. There are some bitter pill you have to go through if something is changing about you even as a person. Permit me to use salvation of as an example, things may be perfect with you before but we accept salvation that is when we start to experience the change that makes us expresses surprise as individuals

If you were employed officially; with an employment letter stating the work process and other

If you were not employed officially, . . . you may need to do perform a lock-out action, if the money means

Meanwhile, may God punish that boss.

Bro, I have an exact similar situation like that, but not employed officially. I mean no appointment letter even though I asked for it. I am owed 2 1/2months salaries. What would you advise me to do?
NYSC / Re: Should The National Youth Service Corps (nysc) Scheme Be Reformed Or Scrapped? by Tdonks: 8:09pm On Nov 03, 2015
I have come to understand that NYSC for the average youth is with the motive of putting on the uniform and being identified that ''I served too''.

There isn't no special reason and importance of NYSC really. In fact, I have come to see that many of our youth in one way or the other, while in service ''serviced'' some people that is not part of the program. - I hope you guys understand what I'm trying to say.

In my own opinion really, is exemptions should be given as evidence that you served if government don't want to scrap it regardless of ages and
After graduation, graduates should be sent on a compulsory training for six months on leadership and development by the government. By this, average

Nigeria youth would know what is right about making things right being a leader and I can assure you that our dear country is set to emerge in ensuring a leadership based country.

God bless Nigeria
