So just go to cscs website and apply to sit for citb safety test. You must have 1 day safety course certificate in the Uk even after passing citb safety test. After that you can now apply for any card you want. Its important to know that CITB safesty alone will not give you access to the cscs card.

Biggest energy waster is room insulation. Make sure the AC does not have means to escape. Most people have opening through the window, under the door that allows the AC air to escape. This inturn ramps up more energy from the AC. It will use more energy to cool the room. Guys check out gaps and escape routes in your room so that your AC can use less energy.

I had the LG inverter ACs (GenCool) I believe which I ultimately phased out all 3 units in favor of Panasonic 1hp non inverter ACs.

It is correct that the inverter ACs progressively use less power after several hours run, I used to wake up to like 300w-400w consumption from a 1hp inverter AC however like Oga Adrusa said, the laws of physics have not changed - the AC is achieving good power savings at the expense of cooling - an AC compressor running at 400w is definitely doing less cooling work than a similar compressor at 800w.

Simply the inverter ACs do not cool as well as the normal ACs.

As for setting target at 25°C - this a good practice, your AC would never bring the ambient down from 32°C to to 18°C in the tropics without special measures. An AC can achieve 26°C temps in a room and thereafter work less cycles and use less power.

As for the cells they are rated at 66AH, 500WH. But these cells are not new and they being used initially in an electric car one does not know the condition they are coming with. Though seller sold at 65% capacity and a lot of folks have been getting that or higher.

I don't know what you mean by significant storage as they are not brand new. I ended up buying 57 modules though at an overall price of just above $2000 (a full pack containing 48 modules then 9 extra).....the shipping cost a arm and a leg sha oo. Planning to set them up in 14s for a 48v system and yes I won't have to go digging too much before I can get inverters that will work within the sweet spot voltages of this system. They are compatible with most inverters out there.

They fill them and charge with a generator most times. who bears the cost? Customers who bought the batteries in its dry state fill them up wit the wrong electrolyte and also do not charge them properly hence the complaints. Too much ass licking on this thread. We know what we face most times & that's actually the main reason Mercury / Coscharis stopped bringing in those flooded specs due to enough worrisome feedback from customers et resellers . USA J185P trojan was modified to stronger cells"J200RE" etc but I was hoping they put easy top up refill hose-kits like Trojan IND 6v . On the ep solar issue ,most companies just import Ep solar mppt without spare panels or repair kits from China . Individual importers sell them in cartons and don't give a single warranty . I have very few brands that gives warranty on mppt like Gennex , Prag and few hybrid inverters so far as its not surge/thunder strike issues or burnt-blown boards .. Most have met with me 1 on 1 and I must say , I am an easy going person . . I started with good character years ago with upright publicity on sales n prices in this forum for people willing to patronise. I still remain very loyal to my numerous clients in diaspora ! I have used several of the Battery Life Saver (BLS) series as well as the PowerPulse desulphators.

Certainly all of them have an effect but certainly again they are no substitute for proper battery charging and making sure batteries get a daily full charge and are not deeply discharged below 50% of capacity.

If you know other desulphator brands that you believe perform miracles then please suggest them to the house - I am always happy to try out new stuff.

A battery balancer e.g Victron Battery Balancer will help ensure that each battery in a series connected battery bank gets an equal amount of charge or discharge - it is especially useful in your scenario where you have a few batteries weak out of a larger bank of series connected batteries - while the bank is being charged, the weak batteries will tend to be undercharged and vice versa when the bank is being discharged.

A good balancer will help shuffle power between the batteries such that an eventual state of balance is achieved - balancers are generally not very cheap and represent additional wiring complexity between the batteries.

Pertinent to note, the balancer is not a magic device restoring equality to several batteries which are very far apart in capacity or performance. You will need to first isolate your weak batteries and give them a proper full charge and equalize cycle before adding them back to the main bank and then installing as many balancers as are required between the batteries.

All the balancers I know are set for 12v batteries, you may suffer additional difficulty trying to use them in a 6v bank but you could batch the bad 6v batteries in sets of 2 to make them up to 12v.

For desulphators, I have been using them from day one on several battery banks and batteries have gone bad regardless and even suffered the very sulphation the desulphators were designed to prevent I am firmly convinced now that these desulphators are snake oil.

Because your current bank is 2 years old, if you buy just a few batteries to replace the bad ones you will ultimately end up with a mismatched battery bank - the older ones are likely to fail earlier than the new set you just added and you find yourself keep replacing batteries piecemeal and never really enjoying the full capacity of your battery bank. If you are really unlucky, the older batteries will even put strain on the newers ones making them work harder and wear out faster.

I won't say mixing old and new batteries cannot work but certainly it is something you want to think through thoroughly especially with your huge bank of 16 batteries lest you go down a destructive path.

Your overall best bet is still to try to revive the weak batteries you have. Get a temperature compensated hydrometer and get familiar with SG readings and how they indicate battery state of charge - Given that your batteries seem to have gone bad pretty quickly after you had issues with your mains supply, I have a sneaky feeling you were really not giving your bank a full charge before now or your absorb voltage setpoint was too low.

The VO(s) are master psychologists. I was rejected in 2011 with my wife for not having enough ties. We were newly wedded then.

Let me take you back, my international passport was misrepresented with a wrong D.O.B at the immigration office in 2008. I was told l could only change it at renewal. In 2010 l did a name last name change. Fast forward 2011, l was at the American Embassy to get a visa, my application was rejected. I had no child then.

In 2015, my wife applied with my son, for me l was not interested because my ego was deflated. To hell with them l said. They were(wife&son) rejected again. Sorry your visa application can not be granted because you are visiting the same person you claimed was your host in 2011. she(wife) had a conference to attend in 2014, twice her application was rejected.

In 2016, she applied with 2 children after proper research and the application was granted. I still was not interested, however on the 22nd of May l decided to go for the interview:

It was a good day as people were getting their visas, there were some few applicants, that even you knew they were lying( who am l to judge). Those were the handy work of agents, avoid them like a plague.

However, I have a sworn affidavit for the name change and my marriage certificate.(This was last minute decision that morning). Gave him, the documents and he paused looked at me.( That was the deciding moment, the VO changed his mind about my application.
VO: Do your family have visas ?
Me: Yes and l presented the visa pages to him
VO: I have placed your application on administrative processing, provide us with the copies of birth certificate, change of new documentation and old passport bearing old last name, take them to your collection center with your passport and your visa will be granted in 10 days. Hope you understand that we have to verify that you are who you say you are.
Me: (All the while l wasn't paying attention because all l was focused on was the white paper). Asked him for clarification on my application and was told to read the white paper. Worked out of the embassy without looking back. Mixed fillings.

Approached the CGS guys for clarification again and was wrongly mis informed to schedule another interview without paying any fees since my passport was returned to me. Went home read the white paper, gathered all the required document took it to the collection center, did a dropbox submission and in 6 days, l went to pick up my visa.

Very long epistle right? l wrote this because every applicant has to understand that honesty and confidence his key, explain your circumstance boldly. Make sure when you explain your circumstance even you can understand what you are saying. at some point it felt l was arguing with the VO. Made him understand my circumstance.
