Fcmb is a hopeless bank. Just to get my Deed released after liquidation of my loan has taken over 3months and till this morning their legal department at Primerose House, is still frustrating my efforts.

I personally had a similar experience at Synagogue of Church of All Nations(scoan) aka TB Joshua.

I could recollect vividly in 2010 when I was planning to travel to China for the first time. I was asked to take TB Joshua Annointing Water by some business friends who believed that if i spray it on my forehead before entering business meeting with my Chinese Business Partners, that they will obey my commands

Could u imagine that when i entered the synagogue canteen to get some food, the cashier issuing meal ticket gave me d f@k u finger-and he said it too. Simply because I asked him to hasten up with the issuance of the meal tickets. When I challenged him, the guy stood his ground that if I make more noise he wouldn't issue me a ticket. I felt disappointed.

To show how deceptive they are,just b4 their retrieval they had d nerve to tell me that I should take d phone myself to a care centre with my warranty card; after a mth!
Of course I called their bluff and insisted they had d duty of care to me!
How do u also now explain the present situation where after 2wks of retrieving d phone, they haven't got back to me to update me and have not replied my mails!Is that your definition of warranty?So a company can decide when and how they replace a defective item they sold to you?I don't know where u got ur own understanding of warranty but is far off from my knowledge of it and trust me I understand it well.

Sir, I feel ur pains.

I own a company and we are Authorised Service Collection Point for Tecno, Nokia, Samsung & Blackberry. I must be frank, I personally would love to sue Tecno or their rep-CarlCare for all the pains they put my fellow country men through. Most often, customers would always want to push the blame -for the delays in returning gadgets on warranty- on us. But, the seller is not supposed to offer another type of warranty apart from that offered by the manufacturers. That's my point! Jumia is just selling. They don't manufacture, they are not even an Authorised Collection Point, and I am sure they are not Authorised Dealers of Injoo. The fact they are the biggest online outlet in Nigeria does not confer any special privileges on them as per warranty service.


On the other hand, often, customers walk into our shop and the next thing u here is "oga, if u no wan sell Q10 give me for 39k, I go just order am now for Jumia." Everyone is bragging about Jumia as if it's their fathers business or they are a shareholder there . The truth is that, if u buy ur phone from a shop around ur neighborhood and u notice a fault even after 2weeks, the shop owner could change it for u. That's what i do in my shop. Especially if the phone is still New.

Even now I have bookmarked this page to show such naughty customers who would always come to tell us SLOT is selling like this, Jumia & Konga are doing POD like this. let's try and patronize businesses around us more. It is better for the economy than these Monstrous -Monopolistic- Online -Merchants.

I may have to comment concerning the warranty offered on mobile phones. Now when a gadget has a warranty on it, such warranty obligation do not come directly from the seller. It comes from the manufacturer or its representatives.

Example, if u buy a Nokia phone at a shop in Abuja, a few hours before boarding a flight to Lagos. On getting to Lagos, you noticed that the memory card slot of the phone is not recognising the inserted memory card. The question is, would u board another flight back to Abuja just to return the phone to the shop u bought it? No! The best option u have is to take the phone to the nearest Nokia Service Center in Lagos, and ur complain would be addressed. In most cases, u could get ur gadget repaired immediately or u will be required to drop it and come back on appointment to pick it up.

In this instance, Jumia is selling an injoo phone and they are not the manufacturer of the said phone. So if the phone supplied to u is deffective, I suppose they must have sent it for warranty service. I simply would advise u to be patient with them.

This is my humble opinion. I do not rep . Jumia
