Tolullopsy: Fellow Nairalanders,i av been followin dis thread from inception and i made a mistake of buying this phone through the testimony of the unscrupulous resellers of this heater and battery drainer they called an android phone,oh my God i av neva fall mugu like this before in my life,no thanks to Nairaland.
This infinix race bolt phone ll take up to 5hrs to attain a full charge and within 2hrs of moderate use on 2g network,the battery is flat,if i am playing video alone on it,the phone would be so hot that i wll b asking myself that is it a phone i bought or an electric iron.
Nobody should be deceived with the specification of this phone called infinix race bolt, all na wash.i regretted buying this phone and am still licking my wounds.Intending buyers, pls do not buy this phone,endeavour to buy original products such as samsung,HTC et al,buying a nokia Java phone is even better than this crap of a phone.please learn from me,i made the greatest mistake of my life by buying this chinko phone,i felt as if i was raped.
Fellow Nairalanders and agrieved infinix race bolt buyers like me, lets speak in one word,if the consumer protection council and the standards organisation of Nigeria cannot help us,let's help ourselves by broadcasting this message.As for me,i am launching a campaign against infinix race bolt,i can't do it alone,i want everybody that has been raped through the purchase of this inferior android phone called infinix race bolt to join me in this campaign,by flooding their facebook page(infinix mobile) with your dissatisfactory messages and complaint, by broadcasting this message to all your loved ones,by sensitisation via the internet and by individual campaign against this substandard android phone.
The objective of this campaign is to prevent innocent consumers that are about to fall victim of buyin this heater of a phone from wising up and to prevent inferior and substandard gadgets like infinix race bolt from flooding the market in the future.when importers and manufacturers of fake products know that we are going to voice out if they sell shits to us,they won't bring rubbish to us in future.
What are we waiting for,let's go to infinix facebook page(infinix mobile) and register our dissatisfactory messages,nobody knows that we are ranting here,lets save smbody from being raped,it could be your close relative

i think laying ur complaints to ICPC customer care service will greatly help

aybomb: Egbami ooooooo......I successfully rooted my infinix joypad..after I downloaded link2sd.linked my apps to d partitioned xmemory card...the internal app memory reduced and later it increased by it self and I thought If I linked the system app to the memory ,the internal app memory will reduce..it did but not to what I expected...so I decided to wipe my rooted tablet..it wiped successfully but I didn't back up..then I went to the menu couldn't find message,phone ,gallary,filemanager and some useful app on ma phone anymore....plz some on help I REALLY LOVE DIS TABLET

ehissi: To tell you that I know what I am talking about; the store I went to that had the showroom is near micro station. This race bolt at micro station is #24,300. The device I even expected these marketers to hype is the infinix X700 which is a small tab of say roughly 7". The race bolt cost #26k at that show room. The tab I.e. The X700 cost #32k at the show room but cost #26k at microstation and both stores are at the same street in computer village. I was even looking at the tab which was even smoother and seemed to have a more balanced ecosystem when I saw the sleek looking X450 and the the phone. Dulled me. Clearly it is possible that either the phone and those hailing it are marketers or middlemen or moderate users in disguise or like the iphone and exploding motorola's, there is a faulty batch of phones in circulation. Word on gsmarena.com is even apple had to return over 30% of their own phone back to foxconn (manufacturing patners of apple) for poor quality. It is not unlikely that the same may be happening here. It is for concerns like mine as well as a few others who are seeing these flaws to be weighed, tried in the balance before we are found wanting; after all for a minute I almost gave up my bb torch for it. But not after that episode, so if U insist on buying wait a while for the dust of these concerns to settle down; after all the price tends to settle down a little more and the you may even get a fair review of this device because M... All I see is mostly marketers talking!!

but these phones are similar to china Samsung galaxy oooo.. the same OS and Core.

Google fibre dat is NEW and its still under installation in some states in USA.

kaseykis: Yes ram expander works peefectly on my infinix joypad and I rooted it with SRS ROOT.I used windows xp and it installed about two drivers automatically while the rest didn't install but it rooted just fine

what u will see in fine brothers Enugu is HTC One X and S not HTC One. D latest phones there are iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy Grand

Mr. Drizzy wen u get it let us know. But I will advice u not to rush dat phone because there are alot of phones like that in Asia. You hav to get one according to the availability of their service centre in ur locality. We in Nigeria are jst unlucky....

But Guys....! Whats d heck about big screen. Am a student and 40percent of my colleagues uses phablet, 20percent tablet and the rest others. We love to carry our notes (powerpoints, pdf, ms word) and textbooks around and Phablets are d best means. Laptop is jst not portable...

Dontripsy: Remember the old samsung galaxy S2? Yeah, i know it is already ''ancient''. But unlike any tecno phone, it is upgradeable to jellybean. i would gladly go for this than buy a 28k fone that is stuckwit one OS.

Dontripsy: one advantage that samsung, htc and other high-end phones will continue to have over TECNO is the fact they are not stuck with one OS version i.e they are upgradeable. And that for me is a huge one. NO ONE WANTS TO SPEND 30K ON A PHONE THAT BECOMES ''OUTDATED'' WITHIN A FEW WEEKS OF PURCHASE!
