Old or new portal? Because it’s obvious they’re using Chinook 3+ software to make decisions to hasten the process. Hence,it takes a typical of 1 month to get update. febishola20: Hello everybody, I’m in a bit of dilemma, I applied since the 26th of June, till date I’ve not had a single update on my application, program start date is 3rd of September, my school doesn’t allow deferral, if I don’t resume by the 3rd of September my admission will be cancelled and I’d need to reapply, I’d like to know if this won’t affect my application and yes I’ve raised web forms 3 times now and yet no update |

Las las, after submitting your application, pray for a VO with good intentions to handle your files. The truth is, with such account statements…she was supposed to pay the full tuition to prove her SOA regardless the documents. Again, these days…IRCC hardly accepts FD, let her liquidate the funds. Note; tone properly guided by gurus in the house, you have to show the additional documents submitted by her. All the best to her. Bensticks1: Good morning!
A friend got a refusal on July 25 for an application made on June 25. GCMS notes were ordered and they arrived yesterday. House, please assist to look into this. Your comments are well appreciated. Btw, she is a banker who also owns a business registered last year June (one year turnover is over 100m and she provided statement of the business, CAC and invoices). Two year course of CAD23k per year and POF of N72m (27m in Bank and 45m in FD certificate).
GCMS NOTE The applicant's assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for the applicant (and any accompanying family member(s), fi applicable). Bank statement and term investment deposit certificate for PA provided. The source of funds is poorly documented, and there is no evidence provided showing how PA came to accumulate such savings. Limited evidence pertaining to the source on stated funds. nI the absence of satisfactory documentation showing the source of these funds, I am not satisfied the applicant has sufficient funds for the intended international study. |

I really don’t know why, Canada keeps denying the best and brightest. How on earth do they plan to support developing countries??
They seems to only welcome rich kids with money, without abilities or skills…who end up seeking refugees status or do merger jobs to survive.

One problem with this world is that they take too serious, what the god’s made for fun. Viare9: Dear men;
When you look at various women , there is always something that you can admire until you wish to sleep with her, something different from your wife’s.
May be it is boobs especially if she is yet to bre.ast feed, may be it is hips, may be it is her lips , may be it is her complexion, may be it is her voice etc.
If you think you can keep going for every woman you desire; you will never have enough because every woman has something desirable. It is like going into a hotel with all types of foods and you decide you want to eat all foods , you will just end up sick.
No one gets enough of wine if you think you can mix all wines, the best way to enjoy wine is to drink just one type that you really love and enjoy it forever.
Staying faithful has little to do with your woman, it has everything to do with you as a man.
It is upon you to make a decision to stay faithful for the sake of the woman you love. It is up to you to treat one woman like a queen.
A kingdom with more than one queen is divided and soon it will fall.
Loving a million women amounts to nothing but loving one woman in a million ways makes you great. There is a lot of happiness in faithfulness. It is so fulfilling to love one woman above all women .
A rolling stone gathers no moss, and a man who keeps wandering from one women into another never finds true happiness in life...... Make a happy home my brothers.
God bless you immeasurably 😘 |

Congratulations, praise to Jah you arrived safely to the great white North. God knows, the day I enter Canada…first thing is to enter the bathroom, lie on floor and wash away every form African mentality and poverty 😁 frony1: Thank you so much .
While I agree with you , I decided to give the two cents because the other guy that went after me had similar story . In fact he had just 45 mins after we got to the customs to make his next flight, he was very afraid initially but he got his in about 5 minutes too and had enough time to meet up .
On the overall, faith and favour interplay in our lives at various levels and times .
On my part , I kind of over prepared for them because despite haven taken care of documentations, I spent over 7 hrs of my flight time reading my application to ensure that I was in tune with my details and that my story stays consistent. You can imagine after such thorough preparations, you only had such an experience like I did .
Did I forget to say that I remained prayerful for mercy and favour from God through it all ? To me, that was the magic .
In conclusion, prepare well , pray well and hope for the best guys. Let your heart guide your choice of POE but from my experience, I recommend Montreal any day and time . |

I guess this must be IOM upfront…that was how they did my close pal…when he did his medicals for Australia…they drew their conclusions because according to them from the chest X-ray, the left and right chest was not same. He went again, same story…but he was lucky that Australia was not too strict, thus he was on health probation and was monitored for 3months when he arrived Aussie. It’s best you do alternative medicals with Qlife, if you have the funds. Rooyin: Hello everyone Please i need your opinion on this
I did upfront medical earlier this week but was asked to do further test to confirm if i have TB. The result will be forwarded to the embassy in 8-10 weeks.
I want to know if this is not a red flag (although o am sure i DO NOT have TB)
Also, can i proceed with submitting my application IRCC even while waiting for the medicals result? I am to resume January 2025.
What’s your say on this please? |

Thank you for this wonderful piece….I will take them in consideration when applying next. Duchess102: You can search for international fee for masters in the school, deduct the tuition fee and leave the rest for living allowance. However you can check up the living allowance for the province for a single person, if what is left out is not up to the living expenses for the province you will have to provide for this balance or add a sponsor to your application. Your SOP must be detailed and explain all this |

Sorry for your denial, I also got a fully funded PhD scholarship with stipend, just applied last week though, I hope everything goes well. My program is for masters…The university didn’t state…what the scholarship entails in details, but from my calculations, it covers both tuition and living expenses. Please, can you share the link on Canadian student on scholarship. |

You see why I said the street don’t have memory. Imagine he could fly his elder bro. out, which is not bad though. But could nor at least assist your dad to enjoy the better life. It’s quite painful, my dad also have people like this, when he was growing up…he had people around him, whom he assisted greatly to become who they are today, because he was a big boy then. Where are they now?…them nor even send am, even some because of little issue turned it to enemity. And as for me, I won’t even dare ask any of them for help. I don’t really know why most black people, tends to forget those who helped them when nobody was. As it is rightly said “ Na God they help MuMu” Sapasenator: When the Civil war broke out, Chief E had an elder bro who was a student of UNN. The guy dropped out from the university and joined the Biafran army unbenown to the family. When his battalion was attacked my a mortar in the war, the elder bro was badly wounded and dying. It was my dad who discovered his location, contacted Chief E's family and the young guy was rescued. His two legs were later amputated and in later years, he was sent abroad for surgery. The family always credited my dad for saving the life of Chief E's elder bro.
Also my grandpa helped pay for the chief's education in the UK and he and my dad were very close, maybe the reason why my dad expected more from his old friend. |

somtorizm: I submitted since 10jun. No update yet. Only biometrics passed, medicals not passed. Background check still in progress. I mailed the IRCC last week with urgent. Then on Tuesday I got a call from my bank to inform me that IRCC asked for verification for the account statement. Which was nice of them. Since then no update IRCC . and school is resuming 26th August You’ll surely get your feedback…most people that got positive feedback pretty fast are those that reapplied, while the denial rate with the old portal seems to be fast, they usually take their time to verify docs on the new portal as it is quite automated. Again, some persons who applied using the old portal are also facing delay. But, I’m certain reply from IRCC will be fast this August…because most international students are coming in September. So, relax and send webform as a form of reminder. |

frank2zee: No I don't have a sure job..I will still job search there Australia is a great country no doubt, it was my top choice at some point. But, I would prefer Canada, since they have better policy compared to Australia, and is more closer to home and other advanced countries, which means you’ll have greater exposure if you like adventures like me. Canada is a more multicultural and diverse nation just like Aussie…which means you can easily navigate your way. No chills…schools in Aussie are far more expensive compared to the great white north. And you can easily earn yourself a scholarship. Again, You said job opportunities…forget what you hear on media their is enough job in Canada to accommodate everyone in Nigeria…. Just ensure you are properly positioned, that is be technically skilled or be academic ready…if you don’t get a job in Canada, remember US is also a land of opportunity. And shares boundary with Canada. But in the end, the choice is yours my friend. Make God help us✌️ |
