[center]Disable Windows Startup Program on Windows 7 and XP.[/center]

Run MSConfig by clicking on the start menu, in the search box Type “MSConfig ” (Without “”) and click on the MSConfig application.

On the top tabs click on startup. A list of all applications that run on startup will be shown to you with a tick box behind all of them.

Untick the box on any app you want to prevent from running at startup.

Click OK to save changes.

A dialog box will pop up asking you to restart your PC to apply the changes.

If you are not currently doing anything you may restart or if you have unsaved works you may select ” Exit without restart”.

Open task manager by right clicking on the Taskbar and Select “Task Manager”

On Task Manager click on Startup in the top bar, you will be shown all the applications on your PC that runs on startup.

Right Click on the Application you wish to disable on start up and select Disable.

Note: On Windows 8, 8.1 & 10 the method i mentioned above using the MSConfig too can be tried but in the MSConfig tab you will still be redirected to the Task Manager Start up tab.

Open your file manager app ( I am currently using ES File explorer but you can simply try others)

Navigate to WhatsApp folder on your default storage and click on Media

There You’ll see WhatsApp sub-folders WhatsApp Video, WhatsApp Images, WhatsApp Audio and others

Open WhatsApp Images folder

Click on the plus "+" button on the bottom bar and select "File"

Name the new File ".nomedia" (Without "" and press OK

You can now go back to to your Gallery and you will find that your WhatsApp Images has vanished!!!

NOTE: If the WhatsApp Images folder is still showing on your Gallery Go to settings >> Applications >> Gallery and clear the cache

How to unhide WhatsApp photos from gallery

To let your images appear back on gallery go back to the WhatsApp Images folder

Click on the three horizontal lines on the top left

Click on the "Show hidden files" Button ( The .nomedia file will now show in the folder)

Long press the .nomedia file and delete it. Your WhatsApp images will now reappear in your gallery app

Tecno Camon C8 has been officially upgraded to Marshamallow. There are two methods of updating, either through SD Card or through flashtool. I personally think that the SD Card method is easier and I will provide instruction for the SD Card update ONLY!

3.Switch off your Camon C8

9. The phone will reboot. This could take long, maybe upto 5 minutes.After the boot is done, you should have HiOS and Marshmallow 6.0on your C8.
