Final note... @OP.. Domain extension influences seo bt only for local business nt a blog or global web.. The last time i typed 'Nigerian news' the 1st result was a foreign website that had d Nigerian news as a live feed page where it automatically takes news from all 9ja news portal

Number one for instance, there's no proof that this is actually so. In the past, maybe yes. But not anymore. Google will show your site for those queries if you have a better content. We know good contents get shared and linked to a lot which is all Google needs to rank your website above others. Moreover you can geo-target your website using webmaster tools if you want to (still doesn't make much of a difference).

And anyone that doesn't geo-target,how are they ranked based on country?

No. Google doesnt give any special preference to your domain. SEO is all about relevant content. Search the phrase BUHARI NIGERIAN you will see there is no .ng website even in the first page of google. Stop misleading people abeg

Major diff is that Not everyone has 100% access to a blog but a forum you have 70% access to it e.g. You can create a topic,follow friends,register,even have your own profile but a blog the best you can do is to comment,like posts and submit a topic and that is if the admin allowed it

Many controversies have been going on about Wordpress VS Blogger and i want to settle it amicably.

I know am going to have plenty bashers and antagonist on this thread,keep it coming please.

There is no need to fight,i am going to give you the Pros of both that is advantages.

Here are the reasons why you should choose Wordpress over blogger : When am talking of wordpress not free o,i mean self hosted .

1.Editable permalinks or slugs : I see no reason why the domain i bought myself will be having .html as its suffix,it is even against S.e.o ranking.
Many love cramming slugs,they hate going to pages from pages before they get the page they want,adding .html and m=1 or something like that will complicate Matter


2.24/7 WP Supports & Tutorials by Wp webmasters : If you are type that search for wordpress solutions online you will get what i mean.Before i started a blog,i always have it in mind that blogger Customer support will pass Wordpress. I was totally wrong o, Though blogger is not far from meeting wordpress supports because of Numerous Blog masters creating tutorials and support forums but hardly is their a plugin or WP Features WP tutorial blogs and support forums never wrote about. NO STONE UNTURNED

Well blogging isn't all about earnings,it deals with the message that you are able to pass across to your readers.

Here are the things you must do on daily basis that make you a complete blogger

1.Publish Articles : Many have turned article posting to a weekly job,they publish once in a week. The only thing they think of is tracking their adsense earning,infact am very sure those sort of people if they calculate the pageviews they earned navigating from one place to another on their panel and add it to their blog. The blog will rank top ten on alexa


2.Checking your new newsletter subscribers : Checking your new subscribers is really a major factor,you should at least thank them for subscribing,if they didn't subscribe you are not going to arrest them.
Many websites get a whole lot of traffic from it

3.Share your topics on social medias :
Sharing your topics on social media is like using a stone to kill three birds,these are the three birds you are killing with it.

*Increasing your tweets
*Getting more backlinks from social media
*Increasing your traffic

You stand a chance to gain those three benefits if you frequently share your topics on social media

4.Check your pageviews and where they came from : There are some tools and plugins that help to track readers,you can check the total number of hits your website gets and where they came from be it search engines,social medias or forums.
Tracking them will cheer you up to further root for traffic on those sites i mentioned

5.Review your comments : Many don't really have time to review comments on daily basis which is very bad e.g. Blogs like " ".
