Fundamental of Subsea Engineering Training With oil companies going into the more uncertain but rewarding deepwater operations, there is a high demand for individuals with deepwater skills. Subsea engineers design, implement and maintain structures, tools and equipment used in underwater components of offshore oil and gas production. Pipeline engineers design and maintain subsea pipeline in offshore fields. You can't ignore subsurface/completions (well) engineers who ensure oil is produced at optimum level from oil wells. Subsea engineering plays a vital role in the exploitation of oil and gas in subsea environments, which are becoming more and more challenging and inaccessible. As more technology is deployed on the seabed, the oil and gas industry needs people with knowledge of subsea engineering to be involved with existing and new offshore projects. We do and train Automation!
|
Automation training in PLC/SCADA/HMI/DCS/SIS, Industrial Robotics and more is here in Nigeria. The era of going abroad for these training is over. Advanced center for Engineering and Technology in conjunction with Robgray Automation and Rocktop Integrated Safety Services Nig. Limited present: practical hands on training and live simulation on PLC/SCADA/HMI. Registration for our September batch is fast ongoing. Why have training on Automation In recent times automation is increasingly taking over the industrial production systems and processes prompting a high demand for skilled automation engineers and technicians. Many industrial production systems and processes that were once manually run are now mostly automated. There is hardly any well established industry that does not employ automation in one form or the other. For instance, in the oil and gas industry automation is employed to control the flow, level, etc of petroleum product in a process control system. In the bottling industry automation is employed in the filling, cocking and packaging processes. In the power industry automation is normally deployed and utilized in the monitoring and control of power system parameters. The list goes on to include petrochemical, pharmaceutical, Food & beverage, packaging, automobile, chemical, Robotics, Marine, Agricultural, utility, Telecommunication, etc. in fact, it is projected in the business circle that a time will come when industrial production system and processes will be completely automated thus making automation personnel kings in the industry. drucee21:Am giving you info as some one that has been involved in HR. The era of too much reverend on oversea cert. in the Nigeria industry is increasingly effacing as most of the so called foreign trained do fumble in interviews. it doesn't mean that the local counterpart doesn't either. most people just travel to get the paper cert without actually knowing their onion and some of these foreign training centers are just feasting on our frenzied taste for foreign cert with many having little to offer. Many co and HR are beginning to understand this that's why most give everybody the opportunity to express themselves trust me. hehe well about the outline, just as I said before is a concise. the module is design in such a way that it captures almost all their is to PLC automation. just like most training outfit does( and I think is what you expect to see) mention brand, make and software for the training. we needn't state all of these because we are going a step further. this training is design in such a way that we review the most popular vendors in the country, their product family, series, etc. their software, the language they can be programmed with as well as the the common com. hardware they go With. from these general outlook we get to actual practice with the specific software/hardware we have for the training. We believe this is a more holistic approach. I know you were only joking when you said in one week. I know you know that sensors (input devices) alone can be an MSC course in the university. well they are not just treated like black boxes as many do we have few live sensors and they are extensively covered as part of the PLC Automation. Also you are going to learn all five languages including all logical applications in a week? well, once more thanks for your critic ![]() |
drucee21:please reread the write up very well you will find out that names of popular PLC vendors in Nigeria like AB, Siemens, Omron,GE, etc were mentioned. the outline there is just a concise of what the program will cover and you wouldn't expect us to put down every details. for your information the training is purely practical base as we have most of the hardware necessary for the training. Don't bring down your own because you feel that the foreigners does it better. we have some partner companies that we do recommend our best trainees and they don't care whether you get training home or abroad. The emphasis is solely on whether you can really get the job done. We understand the Nigeria industry very well and we give our students what the industry demands well thanks for stopping by ![]() |
