I use the Samsung note 9 and iPhone X and all I can say is that they have their uniqueness. I would not say that either the iPhone or Samsung is better.

They're both packed with features, and yes, they're both great smartphones.

I use SN9 as my daily driver though, but I love the iPhone X, too.

I have used both devices and I'll pick an iPhone 6s or 6s plus any day.

Samsung s6 Edge is good, but it has a wacky battery life. From the look of things, you're trying to buy a UK used phone; you'll be lucky if you got 2:30 screen on time on a S6.

It gets really warm from time to time and that zaps battery.

IPhone 6s or 6s+ have better camera, battery management and you get updates from time to time.

One disadvantage of using an iPhone is that you'll need to be on of your data subscription game. An app that's 20mb on android may be 200mb on iPhone. You'll get used to it.

Naturally, Google Chrome isn't optimized for Mac OS, so it consumes a lot of ram and battery juice. You opening 10 tabs means you putting x10 pressure on it and that means gnat you ram consumption will be multipled by 10

What to do is simple: check the update version and search on Google to see if other people using your phone type are complaining.

If they are, do not update until another update that fixes the bugs get served to you. Even before updating, check on Google.

It's not mandatory to update your phone, especially if your current version is stable.
