All you need to pay for your visa fee is your name and passport number.

Get a Visa USD card form your bank. Mastercard sometimes has restrictions on some sites. I got a USD Visa card from GTBank for $10 + N1050. It came with unlimited dollar transactions.

Hello there. The US and other Western countries are very big on inclusion, especially for people like you. Somewhere in all of the visa forms you filled out, there would have been a section where you can identify any physical challenge you have. I'm yet to fill any visa form so I can't say for sure where such info lies. but I'm very sure applicants will be asked to identify any such challenge. if you identified as an applicant in need of sign language communication, the consulate or embassy will make such provision for you.
I've been on an exchange program to the US before and one of my cohort members from Nigeria was in a similar situation as yours. They got him a sign language interpreter at the interview.

You had better ask your cousin to go and do the test him/herself! A valid means of identity is required to register for the exam and to enter the exam hall on the day of the exam. Fingerprints are also collected. And digital photographs of the candidates are taken before the exam.
Infact, because of people like you, the ETS had to put all these identity checks in place so that their exam would not become another WAEC or JAMB!

I think the above fetched you the denial. You claimed that you were promoted to a job you are not qualified for. After the promotion to the Head of operations, you now want to go to the US for 1-2 years to acquire the qualification necessary for the job. Haba...how nau?

Typically, people go on to acquire additional skills in preparation for a higher position. But in your case, it is the reverse. So you need to fix that part.

Me: yes I'm going for my MBA in xyz cus I was given promotion as Head of Operation that'll be leading my team on a new project but I need an Intl degree in project mgt before I could assume my new position

VO: who's going to pay for this

Me: my husband, he's a medical doctor and own a hospital here in Lagos with a staff strength of 28

VO: what do you do

Me: I work at Xyz as a risk analyst (didn't talk further cus she wasn't paying attention)

VO: are you married

Me: yes

VO: children?

Me: 2

VO: alright, thank you for your time unfortunately you're not qualified for this visa this time...

Please 🙏 I need your corrections please and where i can do mock interview cus I intend to reapply next week.

Why don't you just get a Visa dollar card from any Nigerian bank and then use it for the payment? Get a visa dollar card, not a MasterCard dollar card, because Visa has wider acceptability.

So my interview was by 6:30, i got there around 3am, due to Lagos traffic, because i live in Ikorodu, i don't want to take any risk i would later regret.

Interviewer was a black American lady, sort of busty. Window 5

ME: Good morning, How was the holiday (Easter)

VO: Good morning it was great, yours?

ME: Great also, thank you.

VO: What course did you study for your 1st degree?

ME: Linguistics

VO: When did you graduate?

ME: 2019

VO: Have you ever traveled out of Nigeria before?

ME: No i haven't

VO: So why is it now you are going for your masters after 4 years?

ME: I needed to acquire some set of skills before going for masters, which i did, but then masters degree has a very big edge over bachelors degree here in Nigeria.

VO: But it is also the same way in the US.

ME: Well, like i said before, i have traveled out of Nigeria before, so i can't say i know how it is outside the country, i only know for my home country.

VO: (Smile) So what do you do currently?

ME: I was a software developer as at last year October when i filled my DS-160 form, but now i am a content and program editor for a radio station (radio name)

VO: I want to know what you do currently?

ME: I am a content and program editor.

VO: Who is funding you?

ME: I have a GA with the school and my elder sister is paying for the remaining deficit.

VO: What does your sister do?

ME: She is a Senior Software developer and also has a side business, which is real estate.

VO: (Typed for long and fast, then she looked at me and said) Your visa has been approved, congratulations...
