Someone's experience. Only thing is if you plan giving birth there, let the VO. You must have financial plans readily available to show that you can bear the cost too. Good luck,

I know that with a valid USA visit visa, if you fly turkey airways to the USA, you will be eligible for a visit visa at Turkey POE if you decide to stay in the country briefly. You will pay some $ though.

My experience on nairaland has taught me that only wretched people start correcting your grammar when they are engaged and the next thing you hear from then is the Nigerian system. Omedical - you may deem yourself as qualified for a visa but your responses to the VO is totally wrong. if you go back with that attitude, they wont give you and this will have nothing to do with your wealth. i dont intend to belittle you in anyway or say you dont have what you claim to have, but you see you are the one going to the country of the VO and as such, you must approach the interview in a humble manner.

while the VO asked you crucial questions, your answer was wrong and he didnt TRUST you. For example, you were asked that since you applied to go to a bible school earlier, you should have concluded that (If it was your true intent). You said No. I tell you that if you really wanted to go to a bible school back then, you would have gone to one (LOCALLY). A certificate showing you had completed a bible school program would have convinced the VO on your trustworthiness and increased your chances of getting that VISA.

Also, telling a VO your vacation itinerary includes partying, clubbing and tagging their city "SIN CITY" may not go down well with most VOs. Its like saying you love a city in Nigeria because it offers cheap sex. Even if thats what you will be doing, you should not say that.

Also, note that obtaining a Canadian visa is even more difficult that the US visa. Canada will not say it but they have an idea of the kind of people they want and presenting a virgin passport when not intending to study or establishing a business as an entrepreneur is surely A REFUSAL. Dont let applying via conference/seminar deceive you.

I end by saying that if you never visit western world, they already are developed and will continue to millions of others who will be applying to travel to their country. So, prepare well, read the transcripts of people who had obtained their visa and follow after.

sure you can.

Your visa approval is still subject to administrative processing (meaning embassy in investigating something...may be a big issue or might be nothing). Just wait and keep tracking online.

When i got mine, i filled i was going to Miami florida. When i went, I went in through JFK and the POE official didnt ask me anything along that line. It was my 1st time in the US also. It was more of what are you going to do and where will you be staying. Yours may be different sha but i dont think it calls for worry.

ekpotek: Hi house. I was issued a US 2 years visit visa last month. I had entered in my DS 160 form that my point of entry and exit would be Atlanta as I am going to New Orleans for a conference. I also stated that my arrival date will be 30th Sept. Now I want to go through Dallas and arrive a day earlier as this ticket is cheaper and I have got another invitation to attend a preconferemce meeting on the 30th. My concern is will there be any issue at point of entry at Dallas for change in travel plan and route? Note I have travelled to US before, that was in 2008.

Check University of Windsor if the school offers a program you may like. A bit expensive but you are most likely to gain admission.

Jaydenehis: My CGPA from my under grad is very poor,2.17 and although I was accepted in d uk for my masters because I did well in law school and had good work experience,i'm told all that doesn't count in canada as the undergrad is the most important which means there was no point doing my LLM and so the best I can get is a PGD to start afresh which is what I want to do with a diploma or PGD.

Don't underrate yourself. There are schools that will accept you using your qualifications (not all). Some schools will ask you to do prequalifying for a year and then move on to the real deal if you do well.

If you can afford it, simply do a masters program in another or related discipline. That way, you don't have to hide anything from the VO. Many people doing 2nd Masters program in Canada.

I support that you apply alone 1st and let your hubby join you later. It serves as home ties when you apply.

Click on FEEDBACK and advise the embassy on the development. Then, request to change your password. They will give you a temporary log in password which you can use to change the current hacked log in detail. I hope it helps.

from my experience, you don't really need a letter introducing you from your company. Didn't use one and the visa and study permit was received. Put letter of employment, payslips, Id card, promotion letters, salary bank statement, and every document that ties you to the company you currently work at. I didn't use one because asking for it would automatically hint my company of my plans and could lead to an advice to resign.

They don't give letter of introduction except for annual leave tins....so how do I convince d VO dat I wan go study for 1year when letter carries annual leave?
