Hi everyone I just got myself a Honda accord and would love EOD owners/drivers to share their experience with this ride.

This is to help people learn from mistakes and maximize the potentials this ride has to offer.

My first experience. The ride is stable and really balanced compared to Toyotas/ Nissans I have driven. But the car is very low hence I would be changing the tyres to 205/65 and raising it a bit.

Another is after the Sunday downpour my automatic gear wasn't shifting well. No blinking D lights. The rewire said it will be fine once the water dries off the sensor.

That is the origin of the whole issue. Why didn't the mother reconcile them after Peter eventually married her. The guy has made his choice let him live with it na. The mother built the nightmare. As far as am concerned, no issues with EOD

Bro 2003 EOD get issue o. Majorly transmission issues. I'm a Honda freak so I have taken my time to do some study. 2008 model has most complaints but they mostly centre around premature break wear which is child's play when compared to transmission failure rate of 2003 EOD. I thank God I avoided it. I have friends with unpalatable stories despite adequate maintenance. check this link out

Unless you are really knowledgeable about the marquees or a mechanic who can personally handle a spanner with dexterity... I will advise you to avoid the following vehicles:

1. Peugeot 607 V6 plus automatic transmission. I won't explain.
2. BMW series whatever series either series a, series b to z. Especially automatic transmission models.
3. Landrover Freelander... Designed by the devil assembled by monkeys.. left factory for showroom with over 200 known faults... Avoid like leprosy!
4. Audi A4 Allroad... I will leave this for kingreign...
5. Nigerian used Nissan Murano... With wires hanging out in the engine bay...in fact all Nissan cars with the slightest sign of abuse..
6. Add yours as led and experienced or known.

sadly I cannot solve this problem remotely. Scan vehicle for a misfire.

I scanned the car and no code was thrown.
Recent activity on the car include replacement of the spark plugs and linkages though the replacement plugs are nissan branded.

Gazzuzz baba. please my 2008 Honda accord dey act funny. The car shudders at low rpms. like when im accelerating from stop and I gave it a little gas. it doesn't do so at high rpms. The shuddering/shaking goes away when I release the accelerator and then give it more gas. It doesnt occur every time but internmently. abeg wetin be the problem

Thank you so much for the report sent to me. The report actually came to me with a lot of mixed feelings, and that's why I have not confirmed receipt of the mail till now.

I bought a 2013 corolla and was very pleased with myself for carrying out such a feat in this recession, but when the car arrived it was not as clean as I would have expected for such a recent car, and that was why I asked for the history check from you. From the report, I was able to deduce that the vehicle was a salvaged vehicle which was involved in an accident and repaired before being shipped out of the US. Using the auction number from your report, I was able to view pictures of the vehicle prior to the repair. I was heart broken by the pictures I saw.

Going forward I will make sure I research any car prior to purchase.

Could be the intake resonator (kazeem call it air box) that is disconnected or removed.

Hmmm. will check that out tomorrow.

if I hear!. is it not that rattling that normally plague that model. the vtec actuator thing? I don't think so. if I should hear any rattling, the car goes IMMEDIATELY

Gazzuzz sir, my 2008 Honda accord gives this annoyingly audible roar when I'm accelerating and it is really getting on my nerves. please what can be the cause?

Oga mi Gazzuzz. My Honda accord 1998 v6 is having problems with the first shift. Not always but after I have travelled on bumpy or 'pot hole' ridden roads for a while. It also occurs after climbing some nasty speed breakers. I did a scan and code P1739 was thrown. I have changed the 3rd gear pressure switch but the condition persists. The wiring harness to the switch looks okay. shey my gear don KAPUT!?
