To the speed test of iPhone 6s and Samsung Note 7,it is completely unfair. comparing two different software platforms and two diffrent CPU architectures with the apps written differently for the each platform. Other than that GN7 has much higher resolution display and CPU combine with GPU will take much more stress to render graphics on that display, Now turn on the 720p mode on Galaxy Note 7 and try it again.. We all know that the iphone 6s is just a measly 720p screen compared to 1440p screen of GN7 which is 4 times the pixels to process.. That is why they don't test it with Apple's phablet the iphone 6S plus because even with just full hd 1080p screen is heavy enough for the A9 to compete with SD820. When it compares android apps with ios apps everyone knows they are written in two different languages and two different approaches. Even though apple loads apps faster some of the UI contents loads much slower than androids. Last but not least who the hell like to use apples propitiatory technology and extremely limited IOS over the full featured open-source android.

That is because Samsung has already released 2 phones this year, galaxy s7 and note 7 while iPhone has only released low end iPhone se which we didn't actually expect to sell much.

Another reason is last year was an 's' year which is the year apple sales normally go down. Watch out for the iPhone 7 and see how people will queue up just to be the first to get it. As expected, iPhone 6 sold more than 6s, just like 5 sold more than 5s.

Yet another another reason is because Samsung releases up to 20 phones a year with lots of entry level, mid range and high end phones. So as expected, a lot of their sales are coming from these cheap entry level phones... They even make non smartphones which are included in the sales count. Have u asked urself why apple are richer? Because they only sell premium phones. Only once has a Samsung Galaxy s flagship phone outsold iPhone and that was the galaxy s3. Every year Samsung flagship phones don't even get close to iPhone sales. Though there's an argument that the sales is due to the fact that there are scores of android oems competiting with Samsung for android marketshare while only apple make ios phones. But it is what it is.

Only time will tell.

if iPhones were as _stupid as you put it, why did the iphone 6 sell wey past any android phone of 2015, the iphone 7 will still even sell way more than the s7 and note 7 combined.. You call them isheeps, while they conpare the both of both worlds and still go for the ios, the iphone SE didn't sell much , because it wasn't really a big upgrade so this is not about being an isheep, this is about being good, hence why half of the world go for these phones... Samsung took a cue from Apple and implemented a premium design and evey in the s6 and s7 and it sold ridiculously, but the iphone still sells more because it is way way better... Dude as far as half of the world is concerned, the iphone is the best phone of everything..

**Performance -- Apple has it(the fastest mobile in the world,android just keeps embarrassing us) maybe Samsung's own OS TiZeN will put an end to that.
**Screen --- Give it to Samsung,amoled is the best in the market.
**Camera -We all know Samsung has the best camera's on their flagships.
**Battery--Both depends on what you using it for.
If you use both of them straight down without dropping it, Samsung will triumph,but if you using it for web browsing,chatting,then returning it to your pocket,apple is gonna triumph,Ios optimization is crazy.

Not trying to derail the thread, just answered a simple question the op asked '' why is it that nobody is talking about LG phones '' because there are better options. Am not saying that LG is not good, it actually is, but there are better options. And for those saying Samsung is laggy , it's either u still using one old model or a clone device.

The topic also didn't base the argument on innovation, the question is why is nobody talking about Sony phones, why are there not thread about Sony phones on nairaland, the answer to that is because nobody cares about innovation, they care about a phone next to perfection, and Samsung gives them that. On the camera matter, there are several YouTube videos comparing the G5 and the s7's camera, the only area g5 triumph over the s7 is in low light areas, overall they still pick the s7 over g5 . to back that up the just concluded European Mobile Innovation award,the s7 and the s7 edge had the best camera's in the market.

Never compare amoled to ips, I repeat never. Samsung s7 has the best screen on the market. LG invented water proof with covers covering the ports,Samsung then asked what is the main reason for water proof if your phone can't survive a sudden fall when your charging port cover is not closed? It gave a perfect solution inner sealing,that way if yr s7 falls into water knowingly or not u are covered for 30mins,that I call an upgrade. Talking about innovations Samsung can brag for at least 2,the beautiful curved edges and the pen on the note series "No1 mobile in the world(by that, I of course refer to the new note 7)"
The 4k display on the z5 is partially a gimmick,cause it can only be used when viewing pic and video(4k files only of course) almost all Android app(if not all,including Sony's inbuilt don't operate on 4k viewing modes),I mean that huge(what the latest TV boost of). Do u think its just by mouth that 3 Samsung mobile is part of the top 5 most SOLD phones in the 1st half of 2016?,13 million unit of s7edge was sold,12 million of Samsung j2 was also sold,then followed by s7's 10 million units.Only God knows how many units of the note 7 will be sold.I just so much love d pen on the note series,pulling & using d pen on d screen is Bae.The pen on the note 7 boost of 4,090 pressure sense.I really can't point out why people don't talk about LG but it's obvious people know which phone is worth their hard earned money.
