STENON:
Yes , and it is even better if you have transcripts for all those qualifications.

Why are you going for another PGCE when you already have one ? Best is to go for MSc in an additional support needs discipline as most schools always look for ASN STEM Teachers and I wanted to share a link with you but the site is under maintenance now.
I did the PGDE here in Nigeria and I thought it is not useful in the UK hence my reason for applying for PGCE in England. I read somewhere that PGDE is only useful in Scotland though(don't know how true this is).

I will check the site again once their maintenance is over then.

@STENON, Do I need PGDE transcript to teach in Scotland?

I have Bsc, PGDE & Msc in Mathematics. I'm planning to start PGCE SECONDARY MATHEMATICS this September in UK.

Hello, I'm applying to Hull as M.Sc student. Can I use my professional bosses as my Referees?

I finished my undergraduate studies 12 years ago and I don't have contacts/relationship with my lecturers any more.

Wetin happen nau
U try to run from them?
Thanks oo Oga mi. I was taking my family home with the intention of starting the day's work after dropping them. It happened at Maryland. I was driving down towards the BRT bus stop from Maryland Convent. Cars are all on two lanes. I noticed a minibus coming from behind trying to force itself ahead of me but I had already moved, not knowing that the driver was angry that I didn't give him chance.

All we had was Ghoooseeee. He had annoyingly smashed the windscreen. Kids were at the back, wife in front. In that shock, my wife looked at the side mirror and said they were policemen that I shouldn't get down. I got down and was just helpless and perplexed, three of them were in the minibus. Before I came to my senses, they already drove off. I chased them with the aim of taking a picture of the plate number. There was traffic at Ojota. They took BRT, I couldn't. I told my wife to take over the wheel. I looked for a bike but unfortunately I lost the at the interchange. I did not know if they went straight to Ketu or Lagos-ibadan expressway. Eventually paid the bike man and went back to my family.

The cost of the new windscreen at Owode is 17k. Total cost of replacing it is approximately 20k.

May God continue to keep us all.

Since we don't know what the previous owner was using. You might try to use 5w30 grade ... The Mobil 1 I sell will be too expensive for this experiment... Radauto on nairaland sells 5w30 .. Buy the full synthetic from her ,I think it goes for like 12k naira or am not too sure.. So try it and see how the car does . Make sure the engine does not short oil. By checking the oil stick periodically..
If it does not short oil after few thousand miles of checking, than you might be ok .. But if you notice oil shortage than you have to go back to the " engine killer oil ' 20w50.. What it means is that the damage is already done on your engine.. You just have to ride it out until you get a new engine... once you get a new tokunbo engine than you can start using the correct oil..

The thing about Nigeria use cars , is most owners use wrong oil . And most dont follow manufacture advice .. So any signs of engine trouble or signs that the engine is smoking.. The owners sales it off before anybody notice any sign of engine trouble or abuse. So buyers you like sees a car like that. And the car is a Corolla ,you automatically think na Toyota, strong car etc .. You than buy it , mean while the seller has sold you his problem.. His problem now becomes your problem.. And the circle continues ..
But another thing you can do .. Since you do uber with it ,try and save enough money to buy a tokunbo.. Once you have enough money ,sell it and use the saved up money join to buy tokunbo...
Thanks Boss. Points well noted Sir!

The correct oil for your car is 5w30. That 20w50 you are using is killing your engine. .. I always advice car owners to follow the owners manual.. Also your engine oil cap tells you the correct oil ...

Now that been said, it might be too late to start using the correct oil for your car . Depending if the car is tokunbo, depending what the previous owner has been using. And depending if you bought the car naija use.. So if you can answer all this depending questions ,than maybe I can give a final answer or verdict on the situation.....
Thanks Boss. I bought the car early September 2019. Used for 1 year in Naija. He bought it as Tokunbo August 2018. He uses Mobil engine oil(Can't remember the name but definitely not 5w30).

Good Morning,
@ocar drivers, please do you have any deduction called pay balance in your payment dashboard?

In the last 3 days, apart from the rental deduction, they deduct this pay balance too. Please check your payment dashboard if you have it also. Let it not be that someone is doing sakamanje on my money oo.

Evening All, I started ehailing last month but I do mostly weekends as I teach during the week.

As a newbie, I paid my "AIRPORT" dues today o lol. I dropped a rider at the Intl airport but I needed to urinate. I drove close to the overhead bridge with the hope that I can quickly pee and just go my way oo. The useless guys spotted me afar off and with the speed of light, they are all over me. Clamped my tyre and tried to tow my car since I refuse to get down. To cut the story short, I eventually parted with 5500. Lesson learnt, no stopping for anything in that place henceforth.

After the ordeal, a request came in on bolt. The 2 women were going to Surulere. My plan was to take Oshodi and link Ikorodu Road but one of them asked me to go through cele bus stop. I spent close to 3 hours in traffic on that trip. Bolt app now started that 500 naira madness. Ended the trip on getting to the destination and I saw 700.i wanted to faint. Told them to use estimate. One of them said maybe bolt is doing black Friday or she has promo. Women with awuf sha. They eventually gave me 1200. I did my last trip on ocar. Yaba to Ikotun-egbe, That road is terrible though.

Just want to share my waka today with my Ogas. Tomorrow is another day.
