@ crystal poppin Sir fergie respects what ryan giggs has done for the club and wants him to play a considerable part in our trophy winning season, he will then be able to wholeheartedly celebrate his 10th premier league title (thats what i think ) I detest seeing giggs name on the first team list, apart from some intelligent touches here and there he adds nothing to our game I'll always prefer park, he's a hardworker, tracks back, can score the odd goal, and he's ok taking on defenders on the wings, @ ndumart scholes reads the game well, he has experience going for him and has the ability to throw unbelievable long and short passes, he's a lot more useful than oga giggs although he could go missing in games for long periods |
manchester united showed strength in depth, the introduction of t-pain and hulk tevez changed the game for me, it took the pressure off us and we starte playing like the champions that we are, united is far far far better than arsenal, we have a complete team and a reasonable coach, @ mc omo for all your boasting and all i have to admit youre a good loser, like what you said after the game, its just unfortunate that arsenal have never made your dreams and wishes come true, keep supporting them, they'll make it one day UNITED TILL MY GRAVE |
, i thank God that i support manchester united, i have exams in a couple of week i cant imagine if i was a gaynner fan, ill be so depressed it might affect my preparation, but united have done great for me, i prayed in church for manutd to win this match, i have to say GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS, ONE UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
@ POSTER uve made the best decision you will ever make in your life, arsene wenger has destroyed arsenal with his dictatorial policy, he's a selfish Arrow who is only interested in making a name for himself by being 'THE GROOMER', WELCOME TO SUCCESS ONE UNITED |
@ cassiel rios analysis is there, loook hard, tevez did a good job but really dont think he spent enuff time on the pitch to get an analysis, we are definitely the best in the world, we will eat barca raw, they have a porous defence, we ill crush them |
Man Utd Van der Sar – 7.5: One world class save from Vucinic's header, in addition to some faultless goalkeeping throughout. Everything stuck to him, unlike at the other end with Doni. Brown - 6.5: The 28-year-old was supposed to be United's weak link but he was rarely troubled by Mancini. Very steady display and crossed for Rooney's goal. Ferdinand – 8.5: An absolute rock in defence. Made countless tackles and interceptions, including a superb one in the first half. A real leader, especially after Vidic's injury. Vidic - 6: Was solid in the opening half-hour, until he picked up an injury during an aerial challenge with Vucinic, and was forced off the pitch. Evra – 6: Coped relatively comfortably with Taddei, even if he was occasionally caught out of position. Offered little going forward. Anderson - 5: Off-the-pace, and made very little impact on the game. Was second to most balls, and this led to his booking. Was replaced on 55 minutes for the more defensive-minded Hargreaves. Scholes – 6.5: In truth Scholes did not offer one of his trademark European performances, but he did make one crucial contribution in creating Ronaldo's goal. Carrick – 6: Was let off the hook on a couple of times, losing Panucci at a corner, and also being turned by Vucinic on his first half chance. However he was disciplined and could have added a third when he fired wide. Park Ji Sung – 6: The South Korean never stopped running but there was not too much quality. Having said this, it was his header across goal that was spilled by Doni when Rooney scored. Ronaldo – 7.5: In the first 66 minutes he made just one contribution, but it was a crucial one as he headed home to give his side the lead. After Rooney scored a second, the game opened up, and in this scenario Ronaldo is simply unstoppable. He went on to wreak havoc, hitting the post, firing a volley inches over, while running at the Roma defence every time he got the ball. Rooney - 8: Very impressive. Started the move for Ronaldo's goal by beautifully turning Mexes. Scored the second in fortuitous circumstances, but he was alert to turn the ball in. Could have maybe added another, but all in all a great display. Substitutes: O’Shea – 6.5, Hargreaves – 6, Tevez – N.A |
We Know how to marry roma, they are wifeey material, hope vidics injury is not too serious though , i was impressed by the boyz, they have what it takes to kick any teams butt, BRING ON BARCA!!!!!!!!!! Yeah that was sweet sex, felt really good, cant wait for the next round at old trafford, to pump their behinds raw |
UNITED ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE KILL, AND DESTROY, THATS HOW WE ROLL, DAMN, THAT WAS EASY!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Control Issues The manager declined to slam his team after their defeat, and instead said that luck was partially to blame. He told the BBC, "I think we were unlucky for the first goal because it was a real offside goal - and it was a foul first from John Terry - but we suffered, I must concede, from the long balls when Anelka came on, and from Drogba, they gave us a lot to suffer, and then we lost control. "But we were in control, and big parts of our team played very well and had a good game. "Was Anelka's arrival the turning point? Yes, I feel we were not serene enough to deal with the long balls and a little bit unlucky as well with second balls. And I think with the second goal we were a bit unlucky. "Overall the team played well, and we now want to keep fighting." Disruption & Anxiety When asked if Sagna's removal was a negative influence, Wenger admitted, "It was a real disruption, We then gave away a goal and we were disturbed by that moment and also by the fact that three players on the cross were offside at the start, and the players wondered, did we drop too deep, is he offside or not, and maybe at that moment Chelsea took advantage of it because they have quality players. "Did four consecutive draws bring about anxiety? No, I feel we played without any restriction. We played well, and I couldn't say any effect from the fact that we didn't win in the last four games." Closing on a defiant note, he denied that the title race was over. "I don't react like that," he said. "We want to win the next one, and we'll see what happens." DAMN!!!!!! This Arrow is such a sore loser, he is a sorry excuse 4 a coach, no wonder most arsenal fans are naive |
Dumbest man on the planet Javier Mascherano became the dumbest man in the world after crazily provoking ref Steve Bennett to send him off for dissent. Liverpool's Argentine midfielder got his red card after 43 minutes - handing Manchester United a win which virtually assures them of the title. Mascherano was booked after just 10 minutes for a foul on Paul Scholes before repeatedly swearing at Bennett. But he seemed oblivious to the rumpus caused by Ashley Cole’s midweek show of dissent at Spurs as he angrily confronted Bennett and his linesmen six more times. The ref's patience finally ran out when Mascherano charged 20 yards to confront him for booking Fernando Torres. He showed the Liverpool player a second yellow card before brandishing the red card. But even then Mascherano could not keep his mouth shut. He refused to leave the pitch even though Reds boss Rafa Benitez pleaded with him to calm down. And he swore at Bennett again as team-mates Xabi Alonso and Fabio Aurelio tried to restrain him. The FA are likely to increase his automatic one-game ban and fine him heavily. David Facey, The Sun All the newspapers publish reaction to Mascherano's moment of madness as well as match reports on the Reds' excellent Easter win. There's also coverage of Chelsea's victory over Arsenal with post-match quotes from Didier Drogba - "This result has given us belief that we are in the race with United. We have to believe that we can go on and win the title." ('Hot Drog warns United', The Sun) Round up by Adam Bostock |
