Please engineers here, whenever I ON my system it shows this "1720- SMART Hard Drive detects imminent failure (failing attribute : 5) please back up the contents of the hard drive and run HDD self test in F10 setup.
F1= continue F10 BIOS setup_" and then it switch off after some minutes. Please help me; What should I do.

backup your your hard drive and follow what you see on the screen of your Laptop. also start preparing for another one because your hard drive might have developed bad sector. locate your way into where you can defragment your HDD or check online for utilities that does that.

I do that and after scanning for some time it takes me back to that.

Even if I press F10, it does scanning of chkdisk and on completing this it goes back to that same words and switches off
Please help me; What should I do.
