The Minister of Interior is clearly a hardworking. There's an engagement for him daily. Wish him more strength.

We have commenced the automation of our end-to-end passport application process, and we have given a timeline from which Nigerians will begin to experience the “sweet experience.”

Thank you Minister, the hardship is already much on Nigerians not to talk of the appliance fee again.

When the critics begin to sound your praises, best believe you are on the right track. Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is winning all to the side of the administration because of his track records.

I love the admiration coming the way of the Minister of Interior. He deserves our accolades, prayers and support. God help him continue this way.

I join other Nigerians to tag the Minister of Interior, Talk and Do Minister. We need active leaders like this to drive change and good work ethics.

This Minister is right on track

Wow, the Minister of Interior has done it. Kudos to this man who doesn't just talk but takes the necessary action.

God will help the Honourable Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to deliver. It is possible. These officers collect money for fast track why not treat all backlogs as fast track.

This Minister of interior is an action man. Straight to the point he is immediately passing the messages to the required agency.

One of the Ministers I'm glad Tinubu picked cause if his track records. He will deliver and I wish him the very best.

You should have written the so called insults in English. How is this about Tinubu? Or is cashless policy a bad thing? Is it only Tinubu that is running for elections. Or aren't you tired of vote buying in Nigeria? If he was on the ballot, he would say the exact thing too.

N-Power beneficiaries who have concluded the 2-year job programme will now be able to access permanent job opportunities or business prospects in line with the N-power exit strategy now activated by the Buhari administration.



Under the plan, 200,000 beneficiaries will be engaged as financial services operators under a Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) scheme operated by the Central Bank of Nigeria; over 30,000 have already been engaged as geospatial experts and enumerators in the Economic Sustainability Plan’s Mass Agric programme, while several others will have the option of benefiting from the GEEP micro-enterprise loans.



Some beneficiaries of the scheme confirmed in separate telephone interviews that a platform known as N-exit portal has been opened to collate and process beneficiaries’ information in line with government’s exit strategy.



Mr Orioye Gbayisemore, a beneficiary from Ondo State confirmed that many of his colleagues in his community have already uploaded their data on the N-exit portal while Mrs Vivian Nkiruka Nellys, another beneficiary in the FCT, said she uploaded her data at the end of December 2020, all in preparation for the new scheme for the former N-Power beneficiaries.



The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Farouq confirmed the activation of the Federal Government’s exit strategy for batches A and B of the N-Power scheme, on Monday at the 4th annual review of the Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP).



According to the minister, “plans have been concluded for the transition of the N-power batch A and B through the creation of the NEXIT portal, which would allow those who choose to sign up to access other government empowerment opportunities. A beneficiary management system for the NSIPs is expected to be deployed in 2021 which would have the capacity to manage payments, address grievances and improve dissemination of information.”



In a similar vein, the Senior Special Assistant on Media & Publicity to the President, office of the Vice President, Mr Laolu Akande said in a recent Lagos Classic FM Radio programme that the Buhari administration will certainly not abandon the N-power beneficiaries.



He disclosed this over the weekend that the exit strategy to further engage the graduates had already commenced.



According to N-Power exit strategy document, at least 200,000 former N-Power beneficiaries will be onboarded on a scheme known as the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facility (SANEF) while at least 30, 000 others would be deployed for the Mass Agric programme, a component of the Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP), and another number will be given opportunities to improve or start new businesses under a micro-enterprise initiative.



The SANEF scheme is a project powered by the Central Bank of Nigeria, Deposit Money Banks, Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement Systems, Chattered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Licensed Mobile Money Operators, and Shared Agents with the primary objective of accelerating financial inclusion in Nigeria.



According to the plan, the project will among other things create a platform for Nigerian owned financial services companies to grow whilst empowering and creating jobs for Nigerians. SANEF in partnership with NSIP will onboard 200,000 N-Power graduates as SANEF agents under the approved SANEF licensed Super Agents, while achieving N-Power’s objective to improve the livelihood of a critical mass of young unemployed Nigerians.



Under the scheme, the beneficiaries will be trained in different areas including customer service, transaction settlement, liquidity management, anti-money laundering, among others, while government would facilitate the initial funding for the scheme for each beneficiary.



Requirements for the SANEF programme include the N-Power certificate; Bank Verification Number; Bank account number; duly completed agent enrolment form from operator; proof of identity, among other documents.


The second exit strategy which is already being implemented is the deployment of former N-Agro beneficiaries for the Mass Agric programme as geo-spatial experts and enumerators. The goal is to engage the beneficiaries in the geo-mapping of farm lands and the enumeration of farmers, across the country for the programme.



The Mass Agric programme is a component of the Economic Sustainability Plan designed to among other things engage millions of farmers, cultivating thousands of hectares of land across the country.



According to the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Agriculture, Dr Andrew Kwasari, “over 30,000 former N-Agro beneficiaries have been enlisted and deployed to Local Government Areas across the country for the mapping of farm lands, enumeration of farmers under the Mass Agric programme. They are being supervised by the agricultural development officers in the Local Government Areas.”



Speaking on the third programme for the former N-Power beneficiaries, a ministry official who explained the plan noted that the micro-enterprise initiative, the third programme under the exit strategy, is one where exited N-power beneficiaries are offered the option of applying for a proposed GEEP loan to fund their small businesses. Joint collaboration is encouraged to form registered cooperatives in line with earlier established GEEP loan requirements.



The official noted that arrangements are ongoing for an effective collaboration with state governments and other stakeholders to ensure that former N-Power beneficiaries maintain viable income streams in the new arrangements put in place by the Buhari administration.



Already, President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the expansion of the N-power beneficiaries from 500,000 to 1 million.

I think all these insults are unfair and saddening. Osinbajo among others leaders who are releasing hope know what these words of encouragement mean during this times. How have insults and curses helped Nigeria move forward? Why can't we just wish Nigeria and her leaders(including the VP) well so it can be well with the land.

We have a very active Vice President and Nigeria is grateful for it. I hope his presence will also firm getting justice for the latest incident, I know the IG is already there.

Quoting him out of context. I'm positive he didn't use those exact words. Plus the constitution says if the President is travelling for more than 21 days then he must transmit power and in this case, it's not.

Many people may not know this but malnutrition is one of the causes of high mortality rate in children. So it's good this administration is putting importance on reducing malnutrition.

Osinbajo has really done a lot for Nigeria and the youths in particular. God bless him.

This is fake news from the pit of hell. I'm positive Osinbajo is part of the reason God is sparing the President's life cause he told God and the President that his prayer is that they both successfully finish their term.

Pastor Bakare just wants us to disrespect him with this statement he made. The VP is in no way regulated. His office has its roles and everyone knows Osinbajo exceeds that role.

I really don't understand why any small thing in Apapa the name on everyone's lips is Osinbajo. The Presidential Taskforce team have done their jobs and have given their recommendations to the Lagos State government and it's left for them to do their part.

Kudos to the Presidential Taskforce on ETO, this will play a huge role in easing the gridlock.
