Iran having nuclear weapons is like allowing Boko haram & Iswap to possess nuclear weapons, they will abuse it & put the world in chaos. Iran cannot manage nuclear weapons without abusing it. Reason why I support regime change, otherwise it is a violation of sovereignty. |

They can't do much. Exactly, that is why am not bothered about the noise, even countries with a strong database still struggle with tax collection ,not to talk of here. Then the manpower, they need to have over 1m personnel in their payroll to make a meaningful headway.Add corruption, religion and you have the conclusion.Dead on arrival. |

Look around you.....the cheapest rent in Nigeria is around 200k......1k can no longer buy a meal for a person, I have not touched bills, ..a 100k per month earner is dead not even poor and shouldn't be near tax with how the currency has been left badly depreciated...
Be critical and compare UK tax exempt to Nigeria....
again...mwhen u want to compare Nigeria to abroad u cherry pick....sir...do the pay u pple do these things?
did u compare our embezzlement rate to other nations like the UK and co......?? Did u compare the natural resources we have and our elites spend alone to theirs....? u only want to compare what will put more money in the pocket of thieves .....sir..welldone
Someone just told 212billiion naira ..thats just one person, yahaya bello is there..just one person....emefiele is there...that just one person caught......and a host of others that were not exposed because u all know it's a syndicate behavior in Nigeria to steal money
Sir....u are just speaking English slogan....saying tax is vital for society to thrive is statement is for countries who have sane leaders and established system that actually utilize the taxes and other revenue for their pple... Not pple who use tax payers money to pay terrorist, and enrich themselves...
..sir, I honestly don't get these justification of milking Nigerians when we know where the money will end up...... The fuel subsidy and currency gains have all ended in the pocket of the executives, law makers and judiciary....
There are 16 nations that don't pay taxes including Saudi thats an oil nation... Sir, why don't y'all provide justification with the current set of revenues before coming here to quote slogan...... Hello sir......tax is not for society build up in Nigeria ...it's is for embezzlement because the current collection is heavily embezzled.. Exactly, the embezzlement starts from collection, they would collect 1m and would only remit 1k.. |

That's why you can read and write and probably have a good job, but your grandpa under colonialism was a village palm wine tapper.
BECAUSE THE BRITISH BUILT NO PUBLIC SCHOOLS OR UNIVERSITIES IN THEIR 100 YEAR LOOTOCRACY
No it wouldn't. You greatly overestimate the wealth of this country.
Nigeria's annual budget is $35 bilion - a PITTANCE for a country this size.
SA's annual budget is $120 billion for her 60 million people.
Because they started building in the 1880s while Nigeria began in 1960.
NIGERIA'S PRIMARY TASK is to keep diversifying the economy, and eventually reach higher national revenues, because EVEN WITH ZERO CORRUPTION, the country will still struggle with such a low annual budget.
THE US annual budget with its 320 million population is $9 TRILLION.
Nigeria is a very POOR country, and 'corruption' is NOT the reason.
GO AND ASK THE BRITISH TO RETURN THE $5O TRILLION THEY STOLE FROM YOU.
It's your money. Are you afraid to ask them?
THROW AWAY THEIR BIBLE THEY GAVE YOU TO READ, AND GO AND DEMAND YOUR MONEY BACK. IWhy do politicians live like Hollywood movie stars with the resources of the poor country, money that would have been used for development, and you are asking for reparations. Not as if the British met a large reserve of gold as in South Africa. |

If a good military head wants to make roads, bridges or any infrastructure at all, just know that it will be done 100% well, but let a democratic president of Nigerian try it, that structure will even collapse before he finishes his tenure. All we can ask for is a good Military man who really have the country at heart, then watch how all policies will be effectively implemented and everything done in orderliness.
All these democratic presidents are just wasting our time. Sadly, there are no such people in the NA of today, there are worse than politicians... |

Princedapace: hahahaahahahahahahahahahaah This is so funny. Do u think everyone is a fool here? He is introducing a whole 20 to 25 percent tax on my person income and u are clapping for 50 naira deduction removal? Do u know what 25 percent is? So, as a freelancer, after I hustle find work online for abroad, hustle for fuel, hustle for bad roads, hustle for expensive healthcare for parents and for my self, I will still dash Tinubu 25 percent of my online hustle and u said that made me richer? Now, let me school u. Let say as a remote hustler, u make 40m per year as income. With the new tax, u will be paying around Total tax = 330,000 + 1,620,000 + 2,730,000 + 3,450,000 = ₦8,130,000. That is a whooping 8m plus reduced from ur purchasing power. Now, hear the shocker. Before Tinubu, the 40m yearly was barely eniugh for u because since Nigeria is a poor country, u are surely dealing with black tax, that means u may have struggling parents u need to care for their health since Nigeria has no healthcare provision for citizens for free. U pay for expensive wakcy private healthcare. Now, since Nigeria education is dead, u pay for expensive primary, secondary and university education since those provided by govt are wacky. U will have bills as man of the house, more poeople are poor in Nigeria. Ur friends, siblings, somehow get some help from u. Now, govt has taken almost 9m from the 40m, u are left with 31m and yet Tinubu didnt provide any social plans for u, so u will still find ways to solve ur existing problems such as health care for elderly parents, healthcare for ur self, sort out electricity, had to deal with bad roads to constantly fix ur car, deal with insecurity by living in an expensive and secured estate where u pay for private security, deal with water by buying bottle water since govt has none for u, u will pay expensive school for ur kids. Omo, Tinubu reduced my purchasing power while providing nothing. And here is the shocker, just as we cant account for fuel subsidy removal money, no proper anti corruption system since Baba wants re-election, he cant be trying governors who will help him win states, they will loot our money and go free. No past president has been tried and sentenced, no politician has been sentenced to dealth for corruption, no electoral reform, no proper ways to bloack loopholes, but man will take almost 9m from my money and still leave me to hustle and attend to what even 40m couldnt fix. Look, all of us arent foolish here. But as for me, I will use every legal means to avoid this, I cant spend my sweat on this god forsaking country. Dont forget I still have VAT to deal with, and other taxes o. Bro,those taxation policies can't be enforced since banks are not authorized to deduct. |

This Taiwo is speaking with 2 sides of tongues.
