If you are looking to write GRE in February, your studying should be in top gear by now. The official guide is even small compared to other materials you would find and the official guide should be enough for you except you need an understanding of the fundamental principles. I know a friend, even two friends, that used only the official guide and scored even higher than me that used other materials. Just ensure you do a lot of practice.

From my observation, you are probably been denied a visa for two reasons... 1. It might be cos ur sponsor doesn't have monthly income, I say this cos they believe personal biz can collapsed at anytime.. 2. Or maybe u have been denied a visa before now by another country whc they stamped ur passport..

Hello house. Please come to my rescue. I'm also a prospective student,and looking forward to fall. I'm going for masters in public health. I have got my test score result,322. Wes sent my evaluation and my my gpa is 2.89. I'm praying the schools I have in mind can still consider me,based on that gpa,cos I was anticipating scholarship or financial aids. I have good SOP,and letter of recommendation,but I'm not happy with my gpa. I do know admission into these schools is usually holistical,but I equally know that there are still schools that will be willing to grant financial aids,going by my test scores. Please assist me with schools.

It was a sad day for me at the US Embassy at the nation's capital, Abuja on Dec. 3.
I Prayed wella fah, and went with some good level of confidence. For my mind, their father, they will give me this visa today cos my siblings and parents have been given at one time or the other without denial.

1st Time Appearance and I was denied my F-1 Visa.

Interview:

Me - Good morning ma,
VO - Gm
VO - What are you going to do in the US
Me - I'm going to study for my masters degree in business admin so that on completion i'll return to take full control of the family business after acquiring adequate business skills.
VO - What did you study for Undergraduate degree?
Me - Bsc. Computer Science
VO - Why did I choose my Uni - California Intl. Bus. University
Me - Because the Uni is solely devoted to business
VO - (She cuts in) but there are other Unis that are solely devoted to business
Me - (I cut in) and also has low tuition fees compared to other of such unis
VO - (she nods her head) ( and she's been typing most of the time) (i can't remember at what time she stops to attend to me and point she types) (she's been smiling and i've also been smiling along)
VO - She asked for my Gre
Me - My school does not require a GRE
VO- How much does the family business make
Me - Told her about 100k every month
VO - Can I have your statement of account?
Me - I gave it to her - (account has an almost 100m naira fixed deposit but my uncle's law firm)
VO - Who is my Sponsor?
Me - My Dad
VO - What does he do?
Me - He's a lawyer
(pause) and owns the law firm
VO - sorry, we can not give you a visa at this time ( then hands me over a document that gives reasons why i was denied)
Me - in my mind as i collected the document ( why una like to dey Bleep up like this )

Meanwhile when it was my turn, she ( window 8 ) called for next, the window 7 lady called almost immediately, if i had known i would have just changed movement to the window 7 lady. i only went to window 8 cos she granted the applicant before me visa.


Pls house, i don't know my offense o. Really don't know why she denied me. The school resumes 5th January 2015. Don't know what i have to correct if i have to go for another visa interview before the school resumes.

Please i need your advise. URGENT!

For a currency to be considered great...it must be strong enough to be used by other countries as a reserve currency....and that is where the dollar, the euro, and even the yuan stand out.(And the yen too!).

And all the countries of origin of these currencies have one thing in common.....THEY ARE ALL INDUSTRIAL ECONOMIES....not resource dependent economies like Nigeria.

In reference to the bold and at the risk of sounding pessimistic that December application date is way too far for that eligible occupation.

I see a lot of people diverting from some occupations that will quickly reach the cap limit to that eligible occupation just so they can fill up the spaces available. So I'd say whatever you have to do,please do it quickly.

This is however not to conclude that my projection/estimation is absolutely correct..The space might still be open up until the December that you wish to apply and if not,Express Entry will be starting in January 2015...

With respect to IELTS, your registration is not complete without payment. Even if you registered several times, as far as you didnt complete the registration by paying, you still have nit registered.
What you need to do is to regiser whenever you have your funded credit/debit card with you.

You can also register by going to british council office with your money and intl passport.

I don't really know much about Canada. Do you plan going there to study(student visa) or under immigrant visa? I do know that as a student you can work on/off campus in Canada for 20 maximum hours per week and 40 hours during summer.

Yes an HND holder can work in canada, but HND in what?

You need to confirm if your occupation is among the 100 occupations listed on their site.

You have to take IELTS and send your credentials (transcript & Certificate) for evaluation.

You have to go through the instruction guide to get more details about the eligibility criteria and score 67 points or more before you can apply.

You have the option of rewriting the IELTS and making sure you have the maximum points of 24 points so you can meet up with 68 points. That is if you do not have a spouse who can write IELTS for 5 points.

I am equally about to evaluate my transcripts + certificate into the US BSC equivalent for job purposes and I am also a graduate of UNN, class of 2012 currently studying in the US. I was wondering how the verification process with UNN was like and how long it took and a quick search of 'UNN WES Evaluation' on google brought me right to your post! Seeing that UNN responds to itranscripts requests quickly and as well as to WES evaluation requests, i'll go ahead and apply. Thank you once again.

If u are in Nigeria, what u have and used is a debit card, DC..money must be in the account. Credit card, CC ...money in view...

Again, u selected the option of using courier to receive your ECA results. U can opt for $203 and receive as a standard mail...

Bros, you wont get to know the amount for your WES evaluation until after you fill the form. So let me tell you what i did in my own case. I went ahead to fill the form and after everything, the payment page came up. Instead of clicking on the pay now button, i just left the page.


I then went back to the site when i had money in my account and my credit card was ready and then made the payment.
But the amount should be 299 dollars.
