challenges to the adoption of exclusive breastfeeding practice, women
themselves are not taking  advantage of such policies to secure the
support of their husbands while nursing their babies? For instance,
why are they not encouraging their husbands to apply for the new
paternity leave?

Also, its effectiveness in supporting nursing mothers to achieving the required duration and exclusivity has not been confirmed. In addition, bottle feeding puts babies at higher risks of developing Maloclusions and other forms of oral diseases while the mechanism by which bottle-fed infants tends to overfeed is unclear.
Therefore, training sessions on hand expression of breast milk and personal hygiene are recommended for inclussion into ante and post natal clinics as an alternative for nursing mothers who might have serious complaints with the device. No doubt, directly and exclusively breast feeding of babies is the ideal practice recommended for nursing mothers. But a good number of barriers to the practice in our contemporary world make the search for alternatives such as bottle feeding inevitable. Studies, however, show that babies who are bottle fed are being exposed to higher risks of infections (due to contamination), maloclusions, and other forms of oral problems.
