Elder Alhassan1, could you please send me a PM? Alhasan1: . To whom it may concern: The vice- chancellor, Professor Abdulganiy Ambali once said on the occasion organised by the Centre for Peace and Strategic studies(CPSS) headed by Dr. Mahfouz Adebola Adedimeji, that, "There is no doubt that we live in a world of conflicts. In fact to say that conflict is synonymous with human existence is to say the obvious as demonstrated by the conflict between the sons of Adam, which led to Cain killing Abel......." I used this quote by the VC to appeal to anybody who bears any grudge against someone on this TRIBUNE to please let the sleeping dog lie. We are bound to be offended, but dwelling on it is incongruous. This TRIBUNE should be used to create sense of belonging not anything that projects someone as being splenetic, cantakerous, belligerent or grouchy. This piece is not meant to seek attention, but rather to create tranquility and seredaticality. And don't forget that a BBC Listeners' Proverb has it that, "A wound given by a word is many times harder to cure than that which is given by the sword." So, anything said to abuse is always unforgettable. **"""**""""Temmi001, I'm waiting for d number"***"""""" Stay blessed! |

IDGAF: Read ur post ytday where u said HTML,CSS,PHP,Javascript are not programming Languages,that they are the ABC's of............
Bro,so is it python that is a prog language? Don't say that.You are passing a wrong msg.Am sure ur point is those languages are 2 easy 4 u.
Anyway,It all depends on what u what 2 achieve or specify into,HTML,CSS,PHP,Javascript/Jquery.They are the programming languages of the web,if that's not ur area,it's someone else's.It's mine btw.
C,C++,Python,Java etc.These are 4 apps and games.
There are over a hundred programming languages,all 4 various fields.The fact that it's not urs,and it's not as complicated as urs,does not mean it's not a Language.
I av been making dynamic web pages 4 over a year now,this is where I make my money from.
Though I applaud the fact that u are into a gud field that experiences a great boom in terms of money.Keep the hardwork up. I think you Misinterpreted Him. For sure, HTML, CSS, Javascript are scripting languages. If you want to be sincere with yourself, you'ld agree with me HTML is something a programmer can learn in 12hours. |

Everyone of them was thinking about how to impact life positively and be happy, now they are making dolls with pleasure not stress. As for me, all I want is to be happy and comfortable. Anyways, when I was in Rep du Benin, I used to think like this. Life is all about choice and experience makes choices more vivid. Anyways, when I was in Rep du Benin, I used to think like this. Life is all about choice and experience makes choices more vivid. I Know. I wasn't laying emphasis on riches. Riches are just an encapsulation of the entire success story. You would agree no less that being happy, doing what you wish to do at any given point might not be fully actualized if you have One very person who who computes your mothly pay. You'ld need to keep satisfying him through your life without getting to where He is, since he gave you the job. Isn't this Brain-drain? Disclaimer: This post doesn't intend to trivialize paid-emloyment, rather, it lays emphasis on self employment, most especially, for those interested in Tech-ENT. |

Alhasan1: @Temmi001. It is a great pleasure tonight writing to you. How are you doing? I read your post concerning your views as far as academic is concerned. The last time I asked you to forward me your contact before I left school, you ignored it thinking that I am a suave who is full of shenanigan which could make him to considered someone of inconsequential bravado. No! I just feel enthralled reading your contributions any time I come on board as I do comment and /or call at the education section catch-as-catch-can. what always make me impressed is your grammatical prowess which is always syntactically impressive. Now, as I quoted a quote the other time by IBB that says, "Don't fight your seniors because elders are not to be insulted; don't trade insult with your juniors because they don't have the experience you possess. And don't fight your mates because there are many places for you to meet with them." It is in the light of the above quote by Babangida using the last clause that I see you as someone that if you are met with, One would gain what life requires. A Chinese saying has it that, "Discussing with an experienced person is worth more than ten years of education." So, I believe that knowing you as regards academic issue is concerned will be of great benefits. I now beg ur pardon that you should forward your contact to this number of mine---08091331486----- You are an iridescent non-language student who write like a language student. A Yoruba saying has it that, if an initiate greets his colleague , it is required that he is recognised. I use this this medium to congratulate those who wrote the just concluded post ume examinations. I wish you good luck. By the time the list is released, you shall have a good cause to thank the Almighty God. It greet my friends biogramms, and co. It's Alhassan, thanks. I'm sorry my erudite scholar. I'ld forward my whatsapp number to you sir. Or is that your whatsapp digit, so I'ld just add up. |

gentleman100: although, it's good to aim high, but not everybody can own a company, there are other gates behind bill gates, mikes behind adenuga, alikos behind dangote. if everybody wants to be as ambitious,rich and famous as them, who will become policemen, soldiers, who will work in government sectors?. Life is all about choice, even in heavenly places, angels have ranks. but sir, what If I choose to work assiduosly hard, and aim as high as Gates? What if I refuse to work over-ambitously. The reason for social stratification is the variation in mentality. Why some people find it cool to say, 'my boss is blah blah', a few, very few, I mean Infinitesimally few others find it disgusting and an act of mediocrity. I was also a college dropout 4 several years and developed so many ventures that might hav blown me in so many instances. I am suppose to be famous tech millionaire or crude oil wealthy dude by now but God said no, I had to face adversity. I didn't drop out deliberately it was an unavoidable challenge that has to do wit 4 of my prerequisites in 2008, 300l then, but it's all good no experience is a waste and no knowledge is a waste. GideonG: That's a really good course, my friend and flat mate studied the course when I was in ATBU. He now works with Shell and earn N1.5million per month. He graduated with 2.1 in an institution where getting 3.0 as a cgpa is very difficult. Then I was in Petroleum Engineering and we used to go to PH every year to visit all the oil companies and it's there that I know that Chemical Engineering has a good prospect because at Ph refinery, we met top engineers that accepted us and gave us to lectures were all chemical engineers. Though were we went was the down stream sector, Petroleum engineers are always in the upstream. Ur course is a good one. lesson: Never look down on an aspirant, some might just be taking a second degree or something. But sir, a chemical Engineer could also work upstream, talking of oil exploration and others. About settling down for jobs and all that, I believe so well as a tech-guy, u're not into more of such Ideologies. You'd always be like, ''why are the greatest people in the world college drop-outs?'' lol. Abi I lie? Hope you know Bonky is also a college Drop-out? |

I've always watched videos of tech-entrepreneurs around the world; the likes of Larry page, Larry Ellison, Sergey Brin, Elon Musk, Bill gates, Mack Zuckerberg, Juan Khoum, Sean parker, Eduardo Saverin, Brian Acton, Robin Li, our Very own Mike Adenuga, but a few to mention; something is comon between these guys, they mostly developed themselves.It saddens me each time I have to realise females are nowhere to be Found among these tech-guys. Females are known to 'cram, pour, and exit all what they've read blindly, thus, they can hardly be at the forefront of Tech-Entrepreneurship. As per the tutorials, was just kidding sir. I'm a self-tutored programming student. Thanks to Bonky for his helpful videos and some Other pdf materials. I Live offk anyway |

My favourite languages are Java and Python but PHP was my 1st ever language, I learnt programming in PHP but no longer does it, I've moved on.
