At around 3:45pm today, Corp members in Ondo State Nysc camp at Ikare Akoko were all assembled at the camp multipurpose hall for a lecture. The invited guest speaker started by talking about the Silicon Valley and the Stanford University. He continued by comparing Nigerian universities to the ones abroad. Then he said the most shocking thing "your certificate is a worthless piece of paper". Corp members were upset about this, causing a lot of shouts and chants of "No". Attempts to stop the noise shouts by the man (guest speaker) and the camp director (Mr Lasaki) was futile.
Corp members were then asked to leave the auditorium for the field in continuation of the inter Platoon football and volleyball games.
