A recent passport photograph
A copy of your National Identification Number (NIN)
A copy of your birth certificate


Are these the only things? I am seeing some people saying certificate of origin... is that compulsory?

Please have anyone collect on behalf of their family.

Someone said yes I can and another person said I cannot. I am now confused.

I will have to do another NIN too. But I have already done capturing with NIS. When I tracked the passport, it was still in NIN stage. I don't know if there is anything I can do to stop it at that stage so I could redo my NIN

Good morning please my son got captured for his passports renewal on the 22nd of March, 2023 while the system generated 19th of May, 2023 as the date of collection.. However the passport was not ready on the date given for collection..

Consequently, this has put the date of appointment for my son in the US Embassy into jeopardy as he is scheduled for June 1st, 2023 and he is to present a reissued passport because the old passport will expire in August.

Please what's the way forward? Can he go with the old passport for the interview while we await the renewal? Help a worried mum
