With increasing decline in the number of masculine men in Nigeria, it’s hard for women to make distinction between a masculine man and a mummy boy. A real man protect women and make his woman feel safe. He gives assurance and offer his presence.

In this write up, I have highlighted ways to know if you, as a woman, are dating a real man or not.

(1) A real man makes you feel safe around him. A real man communicates. A real man doesn’t give you anything to doubt him. He’s never ambiguous.

(2) A real man allows you to cheat without getting bitter about it. Sometimes, a woman might still have interest in sleeping with one of her exes whom she still find attractive. If you let him know about this, it’s his duty to arrange this meeting between you and ur ex so you can enjoy yourself. This is where some Nigerian men fail as they offer no protection for a woman in this regard. Ask your man if he’s willing to compromise about this. That’s how u know a real man.

(3) A real man will help you grow and realize your objectives. If he met you uneducated , it’s his duty to send you to school, establish you in business, and make sure your objectives are met.

(4) a real man doesn’t feel shy washing his woman clothes outside. Also, if you take him to your parent house, and he wash ur father car, wash your sibling clothes, give them money and play with them..that’s a real man there.

(5) A real man doesn’t do paternity test. Any child you have outside the marriage that is not his own belong to him regardless and it’s his duty to take care of you and the baby regardless.
