Hello, Why was it sent by email? Was it an option you opted for or is that their new method of operation?
I think it’s their new method

Hello Terminalbond,

Firstly, I want to sympathise with you on your visa refusal. I know how it feels to be rejected and plans being messed up. You did not have proper counsel before applying but we can only move ahead than regret.

About your U.K. visa refusal, it’s clear that the visa officer is not convinced that you have enough home ties or resources to bring you back. Your monthly salary is what people earn per hour so it’s understandable for them to see a reason as to why you might want to stayback to find a job or something (especially with your child coming in).

In this present situation, your best bet is to just wait until your circumstances get better & you reapply.
I mean in terms of getting a higher paid job or self employment to support any amount you may have in your bank account. Or use your fiancée as a sponsor but wait until maybe early next year? I understand that this may mean that you will miss out on the birth of your child and it sucks, I know. I am not sure how it works but I think there’s a visa that you can apply for if you want to get married in the U.K. to a resident/citizen.... perhaps that still falls under the general six months visit visa idk.

Nevertheless, do not let this decision weigh you down.
Shit happens and we can only replan, for a better tomorrow.
From my responses in bold, you shouldn’t go ahead with your decision to reapply now.

All the best brother.

Thank you very much for your advice and understanding much appreciated, I will be doing the spousal visa next. Any tips or heads up?

Did you get the rejection via email?
I don't advise that you apply anytime soon. Sorry about this and better luck next time.

hi, these Eco are well train and can tell your genuine intention merely looking at your documents..... pls work on your salary budget. 50k is fucking to low, you budgeted #700k for your trip which is how many months of your salary sir

my advice is leave the UK alone for the next 6 months (to avoid another refusal) while you run your account for another six months with a good balance... someone here got his visa with 80k monthly salary back then 2018 and another lady got her's too with 200k on her statement of account.

alright, i think so too. thanks for you input. much appreciated

God. The people are not foolish nau...
your salary is 50k lasan. Asin 90 something pounds Sir.
Your budget for trip is 700k. Plus extra 1500 pounds from your sponsor. You are an adult.
Then you have huge deposits you say are from you to you... asin you transferred from one account to another yet you can not prove the source.
Then you plan on visiting your pregnant partner. You are a potential overstayer. Oga you will see baby and not come back as per family man.
Next you want to reapply and give them new employment letter, that you have gotten a better job within how many days of application?
As how
Then u also want to reapply and this time to be fully sponsored by your partner and her mom after a refusal that has explicitly explained whre you got it all wrong.

Please this story of your reapplying tells me you clearly can’t see that your circumstances are not favourable to be issued a visa. Good luck
Thank you for your opinions

hello all Good evening, please i would need your wisdom and experience in analysing my situation and advice appropiately
i have attached my real reason for refusal which i got today, and i intend to apply again addressing it but with a different approach.
I can not provide proof on the huge deposits because its from one of my other savings account to the other (i explained this to them but apparently they wanted more)

so i have decided to not use one penny of my personal money in my new application, i have decided to use my fiance and her mom to fully sponsor my trip. (my first application i budgeted 700k for my trip coupled with 1500 pound from my sponsor plus accomation and feeding on my sponsor). i'm still going to attach the same documents i used for my last and add a few more like a recent better job offer with prospects as stronger ties to home.

I want to know if my sponsors taking the full cost of my trip would address the reasons for the refusal and how soon can i apply

Thank you all

Hello all, i just got a refusal letter via email. The letter had my name but the reasons for denial were strange to me and not related to me. i applied for a visit visa to see my pregnant fiance, but letter stated i applied for private medical treatment, second it said my sponsor is my daughter which is wrong i'm only expecting my first child. the account number in the letter does not belong to and i am not sick in any way. the later stated that i am retired which is completely wrong.
Has anyone experienced this issue before?
i contacted them via a paid email on the UK immigration website and also TLS as i believe there must have been a mixup somewhere.
i went for Biometrics on the 4th of August, in Abuja
i would love opinions on this. thank you all

Submit any evidence you have to show you have siblings and parents that will be in Nigeria tht you cnt abandon eg international passport, work id cards, school id cards, student cards, business id cards, pictures and any other real time evidence to show that u will return because your whole family is in Nigeria

But keep in mind, that since it’s your child and fiancé we are talking about here, eco might not be totally convinced as you can as well abandon these other people as they are now ‘extended family’

You must prove beyond reasonable doubt that you will return, your chances are slim for VISIT VISA UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES YOU MENTIONED. U have new family outside, why would you leave them?

Your job history is 6 months
Little pay as u mentioned
Why will u return? Pls look at the big picture
How are u planning to sponsor your trip?

Alright can i draft a seperate letter to explain all these, also my fiancé would be returning to Nigeria and has a flight to arrive in Nigeria by November and leave by May next year, could I attach that as proof that I will be In Nigeria. Do
I also need to attach my own personal booking? And does my rental contract with my landlord not serve as proof that I’ll be returning back. I just paid my house rent in June and it’s valid for another rear. I will be sponsoring my trip with 700k and I want to use my fiancé and her mother as sponsors since they will be accommodating and feeding me.

You'd have to prove to the ECO that your economic situation in Nigeria is stable and strong enough to warrant you returning to Nigeria i.e. employment / business with stable income.
Even though you have 5k savings, your regular income is what will be largely used to judge your financial capabilities because in this case, you have every reason to want to stay back in the UK. Without proof of a stable and satisfactory income, your application will be refused.

You don't need a passport photograph; your picture will be taken at the VAC.

You can use tiny scan app to scan and convert to pdf. If you use the electronic one, you'd need a letter from your bank to back it up.

Oggg:

Ur salary/job ties is one very important factor. Kindly do not rule it out while bringing 5000 pounds to the fore.

U have a good chance of not getting a visit visa because your circumstances of having a pregnant fiancé over there is likely to be seen as a way for you not to come back to Nigeria.
U can get a good job with a better paying salary which would show as ur tie to nigeria and also if u have other family members or assets, properties and investments that would front to the ECO that you would return
i appreciate your responses a lot, in my opinion my major disadvantage is that my salary is not high enough, ive been at my current work place for over 6 months now, though i have requested a letter from my employer as evidence/proof of employment. i currently dont have assets, i was thinking about submitting my rent agreement which i renewed last month as proof that i will return. i would love to know how family members can be proof to the ECO that i would return. i've also asked my fiance mother for a letter as well, should it be emphasized in that letter as i would staying at her residence. thanks

Hello all I need your opinions and advice,I will love to visit to uk to see my pregnant fiancé who would be giving birth soon. I’ve requested for her to write me an invite so I can be there for delivery. I need opinions as to how to make a successful application. My salary is nothing to write home about, but I have some good saving untouched of 5000 pounds in my account, I want to know what documents to provide, as I plan to spend a month in UK. plus i would like to know what passport photograph format to use for the visa application and also my bank Statement would be a lot of pages? How do I scan it and convert to a pdf, or do I just use the electronic one without the bank stamp?
