Politics / Re: Anti-Gay Bill: “Go Back To School” Soyinka Tells Nigerian Legislators by Terminator007: 12:48am On Jun 25, 2013
The fact that this is coming from wole soyinka does not make it right. It will be totally fallacious for any human to think that way.I think the law of diminishing return has started setting in for the man. If not he ought to know that gay marriage will definitely have a multiplier effect on the society in the long run if not curbed at the earlier stage. This is Africa with its own peculiar culture. The constitution should be a reflection of the culture. NO CULTURE IN NIGERIA SUPPORTS GAY-MARRIAGE. How our families are managed determines what becomes of the society in the future. If each family is properly managed then the society will be a better place for us all. The bill has been passed. There is nothing you can do about it sir. if you talk from now till tomorrow,it doesnt change anything sir. That is the way we want it.

Spiritually, have you come to think of the reason why we have frequent cases of natural disaster in other continents and none in africa? The atrocities committed daily in some countries in the name of freedom is on the high side. This is the reason why God destroyed one generation in the bible and the quran and some people still have reasons to support it. This is unimaginable.

Logically, the ratio of female child to male child is increasingly skewed in favour of female (recently 7:1). It will be a total selfishness for a rightful thinking person to support gay marriage. What happens to the excess number of women in the future. Prostitution? Idleness?. The professor should please look into the future or go back to school to learn that.
Politics / Re: Lagos Speaker Gets N1Billion Bail As EFCC Re-arraigns Him by Terminator007: 12:46am On Jun 25, 2013
A good way to start dealing with these dis-honorable thieving crooks! Next is to initiate the impeachment process!
It was this same Judge(Ibrahim Buba), who issued Peter Odili an order of "Perpetual Injunction" restraining the EFCC from arresting, detaining or prosecuting him! "Selective justice"
Religion / Re: 12 Year Old Destroys The Trinity Argument - "Out Of The Mouth Of Babes" by Terminator007: 7:50pm On Jun 10, 2013
A Person is an individual in his own right , complete with will , intellect and emotion.

So 3 Persons means we have 3 different individuals , each with his own will , intellect and emotion.

Enter the Trinity - 3 Persons = 1 Person.

Tell that to those on the outside who want to learn about GOD , who Jesus came to reveal , and you make our belief in God to be an unintelligible mystery , yet this is not the purpose of Jesus , who came to show us the true GOD , and not to sow the seeds of confusion.

The Trinity is therefore anti-christ because it is against Christ and his mission to reveal to the world , the one and true GOD. Instead he is made to be this GOD , causing total confusion and mayhem.

"And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent," (John 17:3, NASB).

Despite the claims of Jesus not to be this GOD, despite SATAN himself calling Jesus Son of GOD , despite Peter calling him Christ and 'this MAN Jesus etc , you and your traditional cohorts insist that Jesus is a Liar and keep calling him GOD , erroneously so.

By keeping millions out of the kingdom with this false pagan concept, you could very well end up with their blood on your hands.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Development Movement - Get Involved by Terminator007: 7:49pm On Jun 10, 2013
I like this!

I like it more because of the fact that people can cling on and have faith in something so broken and shattered. I like the fact that people can be so hopeful in the midst of this obvious impossibility. I like the enthusiasm with which B.O.S.S and Skyblue have presented their speeches.

I like it. I like it.

Just that it is bland and Large. It is so large that the impossibilities stare you in the face. It is so bland that the outlook can be so fatiguing!

But I like it. I like the hope and enthusiasm of the two fellas and all the others that believe in this project!
Problem is hope and enthusiasm would only end on the pages of Nairaland.
They wont change Nigeria or the apathy of Nigerians. Online membership would not cut it.

For your information, not too much more than a thousand nairalanders post on Nairaland and I'm guessing that less than 50 would care one inch about this post!
Which brings me to my point. If the goal is to get as many nairalanders append signatures, that wouldn't bring no change.

My suggestions!
Lets start now. Lets test ourselves immediately. Lets forget about changing the whole country immediately.
Lets just pick one project.
Maybe we can look for one primary school to renovate to international standards.Just one school!
Maybe we can try to revamp a dilapidated public library.
Or even start an Economic development Center in rundown neighbourhood- set a target of training/funding say 100 small scale entrepreneurs in 3 months.
Or help a village start an Agricultural revitalization program. Something we can measure its outcome soonest.
Raising funds for such causes is easy. There are formulas that can be applied and all the funding will be available.

And we don't need too much people. Just the twenty something people already signed up is enough.
What will be needed more is will. A will to expend your time, resources and intellect for what looks like a noble cause that we've been invited to embark upon.

Maybe, just maybe if we can succeed in one project, people will just believe and begin to join the cause.

So my suggestion is simple.
Lets use this initial pages to determine what project the few people that would be interested would embark upon.
Lets determine how to go about the project we get to choose. If we succeed, maybe, just maybe people will listen!

There are a million other little projects we can start to embark upon without much finance. The power to change starts small then begins to grow before it consumes and takes over its environment.

This might look silly and unappealing, but hey. . .i thought you said we wanted to change Nigeria?
Autos / Re: 2006 Honda Accord SE Pre-Ordered By Ojix85 Of NL From Fhemmmy -**DELIVEREDDDD** by Terminator007: 7:45pm On Jun 10, 2013
Osama10: @ Ojix85, I have been reading this thread from page to page and I realize that nothing is dishonest here.If actually fhemmmy wanted to be dishonest he could have hidden the scratch from you and upon arrival in Lagos have it fixed without you knowing,or don't you think so?

I withdraw the earlier comment because both of you have agreed that the bumper would be fixed on arrival in Nigeria, as for the fabric you can ask for a little discount if you are not happy with it.

This is a SE model 2006,Fabric & 4 cylinder, I guess so it looks like a special preorder , looking at all the pictures apart from the bumper, it is a really clean ride, gray fabric is what made it look faded.

This car is 8 years old again,so my chief it doesn't look that bad the way you have painted it. wink

My 2 cent.

Say the truth and shame the devil, a 2006 car with that milage is not worth the amount the op is bring arsed to pay , you spoke the truth at first but we understand how it goes.
Did you read the part where op wrote that he was misrepresented ?
Fhemy sweet-talked him into the deal of getting him a clean car at a price lower than what he could have got in berger,
The good thing is to refund a bitter customer if the customer cannot get what was bargained for and thais piece aint worth 2m.
if it is such a good car then a refund should not be difficult.

Osama10: Honestly I did not want to comment on this thread but am moved to.

@Ojix85, If you feel what you bargained for is not what you are getting I think you should ask for a refund.

@Fhemmmy, The customer is always right & not all customers will be understanding as others might be,If possible I think you should refund the man's money if he wants that.

As for the ride we can discuss about it. wink

Fhemmmy: This is one of the most interesting deal i have ever dealt with in my life and that made me to appreciate it so much.
Chairman Ojix85 contacted us for a 2006 Honda Accord, he has checked around online and knew the average cost of buying one, but cos we have a very good relationship with a dealer in Canada that sells a lot of Accord, we got him something way below his expected price and his first question was . . . How come it is cheaper than average, hope there wont be a problem with the ride? Lol . . We sent him pix of the ride

He asked for the VIN and we provided and he came back for us to go and tie the ride down, following day, the gentleman paid 50% and we seal a deal.

As usual, we sent more pix and for sure, this will be a lot of fun. . . This will be his first experience on Pre-Order and that made Oga Ojix85 to be fearful, which i would be too, if i was in his shoes.

Please follow us on this deal and for all those that still dont think we are for real, we will one day be your dealer too.

Chairman, we appreciate your business and we will never take your for granted . . .

Ojix85:

Fhemmmy autos (The Dealer) is totally DISHONEST. Would never ever want to deal with him again.. I have considered your option. Thanks for the advice. Fool me once shame on you..Fool me twice,....NEVER!!!

What a contrast, people will never learn, why pay for what you have not seen.
