Sometimes I really do feel for the police and other security operatives. People generally expect them to use tear gas and rubber bullets in combating protesters with stones, knives, guns and live ammunition. In Nigeria people also generally consider blocking of roads, beating of citizens and burning of cars and houses as part of peaceful protests. Finally I wonder how dangerous the Shites' leader really is, for Buhari to have obviously decided to keep him locked away for the entire tenure.
