Here are some examples...

How about a free verse question and answer poem? We could do four couplets. Examples below... The first line asks a question, the second line gives a response. You do this type of thing in a rap battle right. This is just more formatted.



The first two questions begin with "How many...? and the last two questions ask "How much...?" The answer always begins with "depends on..." The answer to the first question rhymes with the answer to the second. (Optional, but I think it will help with flow)

This one is an ABAB pattern...

Each question starts with "where" and every other line rhymes. There is also a syllable pattern (optional)

So we are strangers...why not use that? Get to know each other in our poem. Let's have a conversation, find common ground, or show how different we are. It can be a back and forth. I'm not sure I could do a rap battle, but I can ask and answer questions. What do you think?
