How is Igbo alert and ready? Rather this issue will raise unnecessary high level of resentment which if not checkmate will lead
to unrest. As someone said we all have friends, neighbours and colleagues who are Igbos....we all don't need this.
You wouldn't know of the intense mobilizations behind the scenes right now but just get it in good authority that small arms proliferation in igbo areas in the past 24 hours have gone at an all time high and by thursday most will have come back from the easter.....we shudder to think of what they will come with.Tis so unfortunate it had to come to this but Akiolu's word must be rubbished and his enforcers wasted. Relax,we have card readers.Tis out of thieffnubu's hands now....Igbos will vote in their hundreds of thousands for their man.Win or lose,we stand ready to waste any riff raff who tries more than his cowardly trait....The call is out already, everone is ready incensed and motivated even it is everywhere in media.Boys are breaking out weapon caches waiting for the first arsonist to blow away....An Eye for eye,a tooth for a tooth. Please ask this guy what his father's/family/himself stake is in Lagos.

Has he got land, properties, businesses, livelihood etc in Lagos. If you do you will never make such comments as you are known for.

I grew up in Ladipo and believe me I grew up with the Ibos (as we call them) but my love for them changed during the No man's land furore.

Yesterday though, I was for the first time ready to die over this issue after seeing those insults on Alayeluwa the almighty Kabiyesi of Lagos.

I would happily put that Agbaje boy where he would breath no more and I will pay the price. I have never been as angry as I was yesterday.

Igbos please exercise caution, the Oba has spoken!
And igbos have spoken "We will never bow to threats in whatsoever form they be" Igbos will come out, exercise their franchise and thumb their noses at Akiolu let us see who will perish in the Lagoon.

PointB:
According to your write-up, Igbo sins include:

So Ifeanyi Uba and Jimi Agbaje both conspire to sin against yoruba! And their aggressiveness against the peace loving yoruba is summed up in those childless banter captured above?

I thought you were going to talk about Igbo cattle herder sacking a Yoruba community? Or Igbo killing scores of Yoruba in markets? Or Igbo raping and killing hundered of Yoruba girls as they rampage a yoruba traditional festival.

But somehow, you aggregated a series of non-issue and elevate it to life-threatening to the point of opening a thread to prostrate to every yoruba you meet online, and urging the rest of your kinsmen to follow suit! Guy, you are taking your new found love too far!

As a matter of fact, I'm going to repeat some of those phrase again! And I make bold to say,

"Lagos is No Man's Land"
"Igbos develop Lagos"
"Igbo will determine who will rule Lagos"

Now let any angry yoruba man go and jump into Lagos lagoon; Igbo are not cowed nor do they cower! Arrant nonsense!!
Let him keep prostrating,he will soon become the first sacrificial victim to the Lagoon,he will be the scapegoat when the cowards are looking to vent their anger....Let him go and look for his unborn children there. '

They harboured hatred and yet gave us back all our properties in the land after the war without seizing any like the Rivers people did. They harbour hatred and yet no matter the disagreements, they don't go from door to door hunting and killing Igbos like Northerners do regularly.

I smh for you honestly. You're just vexed up and charged at the wrong people.
That is the point we are saying.the only buffer to their hate and discrimination is the fear of the igbos, the fear of our pride and once that pride is stung and nothing is done or we humble ourselves,it further emboldens them to do more, maybe start with you.Btw,whoever gave you that crap about stolen properties?? Til today Ojukwu's family are still fightin Lagos state into reclaiming their father's houses,Did you not read about igbos caught out in Lagos during the war who were summarily executed as alleged spies?? Forget the 20£ insult for another topic.....We are saying a stand off brings in mutual respect from otherwise two hostile parties and any form of weakness (like you are blatantly displaying) exhibited by one party is ruthlessly exploited by the other.Read your history.US/North Korea....Nazi Germany/British Empire,US/Japanese Empire......Rome/Carthage etc

Ichidido, you are only talking rotten beans. Can you even face me if I challenge you even in Ibo-populated areas in Lagos?

Running your mouth wont do any magic. Why not ask your brothers why they fled for the fear of June 12 before spitting rotten beans here? Why didnt they stand and fight Yorubas in Lagos?

I CAN BET IT you will be nowhere to be found on this forum when the ridicule against your vain boasts of a face-off against Yorubas hits the highs.[/s]
We've only known you as cowards, our mistake for June 12,But you can see we never ran again even with the brutal murder of Kudirat and MKO...then you throw in our brutal response to northern killings which normally used to go unavenged. These experiences should bode us well in the coming days when we troop out in our Hundreds of Thousands and exercise our civic rights in that no man's land....Let us see what you and your silly Oba will do. You should be reasonable and allow sleeping dogs lie. The gentle walk of a leopard is not a sign of weakness. What are you trying to achieve by pushing/provoking the Yoruba? What exactly? You want them to rise up in violent attacks against innocent Igbo women & children just to prove to you that they are not cowards?

You are the one calling people to rise and take up arms against a people that you have lived with all these years without violent confrontations. You need to have a rethink. Sometimes it is good to bend down for peace to reign; it must not always be chest-beating and braggadocio. embarassed
You only bend for people who are peaceful but to bend for those who have for decades harboured hate, discrimination even envy is not only silly but disastrous especially now a call action as been sounded out.The cat is out of the bag and your begging won't make it come back,it will only make situation dangerous....Igbos don't bend to threats we counter threats with threats and action. A wise man chooses his fights carefully, go figure.
Yes that is why we chose this fight as per our experience with Hausas, you don't look for a black goat in the night.Tis about time we catch this goat in day as Oba's threats echoed the minds of thousands of yoruba who will be keen to act on it. Ironically you just placed your unborn children in danger with your grovelling...

They have mixed up so much with the locals that have forgotten their heritage. The only way to charge down a yoruba threat into an harmless bluff is to face it with the threat of not only defiance but real force, kowtowing to them as he did will emboldened them to persecute or even kill igbos 'just put them in their place'.The fool's grovellin has just put igbo lives in danger... Well,Buhari needs familar faces around him,you cannot begrudge him that. But doing away with competency that should accrue to that position is just plain cattle herd mentaliy. The detail at 2011,would be hilariously incapable of becoming an embassy security attachee how much more detailing a forgotten Buhari....now the stakes have become higher, the same stagnant detail is fasttracked to sit in the shadows.....that is your quintessential Buhari, sacrificing competency for familiarity..won't be suprised if he replaces CBN governor with Daura Comprehensive Secondary School SS3 Economics teacher. my igbo brothers should weigh their options very well. the election can go either way and it will always be a win win for the yorubas in lagos. But trust me, it will be a loose loose for the Igbos if they vote En-block for a particular guber-aspirant.
