Over 50% of the richest people in America came from poor or middle class background. Even though he had a job on Wall Street like thousands of others, Jeff Bezos over 30 years ago begged 60 people to lend him $1 million to get Amazon off the ground in exchange for 20% of the company. Only 22 of them including some of his siblings and parents believed in him. If he was a billionaire, why was he begging for 1 million.
