ivandragon: Another lout that is flaunting stupi1dity as knowledge.
When you learn about the role of blue collar jobs in the society, come back and apologise for your inability to grasp how society works.
blue collar jobs are very important, they are well paid in first world countries, yet they don't talk down on professionals like you ignoramuses do. The London city and guilds is an offshoot of the Royal institute of British architects and engineers' professional body in UK. no one in the developed world will say bricklayers and iron benders are the harbingers of industrialisation like your foolish leaders who you well deserve say.
Stayingalive: stop taking weed You’re trying to make sense of people who stole our future and turn around to call us names. Do you know what people go through in school for 4 years and only for the old fool to say this stupid thing. Who is now to be blamed? The guys who went to school?
Stop making dinner from dustbin
You dey mind the fools? They have been whipped into submission finally
ivandragon: That is a crude way of putting it, but Oshiomole is right. To industrialise, Nigeria needs more technical work force.
However, the socio-economic conditions and value system in nigeria does not give proper dignity and reward to such jobs, except on few occasions.
only a clown will think the industrialisation of china was effected by artisans. Maybe to that foolish man CCECC is a company owned and run by artisans
JagabanBorgu: Even in ur lgb0 man, I'm sure there's an Ebonyi, Nsukka before lgb0. Somehow those of you using that line think you are sophisticated, it only shows u lack idea about the bigger picture, Nigeria is drifting apart rapidly that more people are accepting the idea of separation, when the separation eventually happens, same mindset will tickle down to each individual entity.
eepeepook: Scenes like this make me proud to be human. The average human is a 5’8, 69 kg male. Somehow, he created equipment big enough to split mountains into smaller pieces — an act which would take nature thousands of years to accomplish. Look at the size of that behemoth. How many humans would it take to pull it from point A to B? One human being in a machine was able to drive it for possibly hours to a relocation spot. God? We are God.
Just imagine o! Imagine what we could do with that power. We can make a freaking paradise out of this planet, but what do we do? take advantage of the weak to enrich ourselves. majority of us are suffering in abject poverty.
Ieans: People can do anything for money in this country
Do you blame them? Is it not the stupid parents that think fattening their babies like broilers is part of their responsibility as parents that should be blamed?
Osek: But truth be told, why would you even think of overtaking a major general vehicle? Yes the major general was not right but as a civilian even if you did make that mistake, a simple sorry would have calm the tensions before pleading your case. The reason why I feel the general got flared up was maybe the said guy thought he could say anything or do anything and get away with it. Some people are saying in the US, can the general do such a thing? Let me make this clear to you all, even in the US when a military convoy is on transit no other vehicle is mandated to overtake it unless it's an emergency situation and the siren must be on.
You are a very dumb fellow. Many years of oppression has erased all elements of self esteem from your skull
RandDigital: Keep wailing. Despite Cheatdimma's Miss Universe success it's still the Miss SA crown that's making you sob like this. Maybe it's coz you're extremely hungry. So when last did you have 3 square meals a day, buddy? We in SA are very worried about the starvation ongoing in Hunger-geria, the worst humanitarian crisis after Sudan 😂😂😂. Chai, can't you people use your land and oil to good use? It's not rocket science. 😂😂😂
Did you not hear how your kinswoman in the video admitted that you guys are hungry, poor and don't know where your next meal will come from and that is why you vented your anger on a poor 22 year old?
The impact of this refinery will be felt in the entire region.
When will you blame NNPC and your wicked government for the failure of the state owned refineries? When will you blame the wicked marketers for frustrating every bid to make Nigeria free from importation of petroleum products? Than patronize Dangote's products they will rather buy cheap, substandard nonsense from Malta to destroy our car engines.
Hmm! I have met such generous men, that will dash money happily but will never pay their debts. Why couldn't he pay back the money Cosmos Maduka lent him?
Op is the real definition of As e dey sweet us e go dey pain them..
Op if you like cry very very well E dey sweet me as e dey pain u You think Life ends in school??
When you were carrying first Them go dey hail you they clap for you. The whole school will stand up and clap for you. E go dey enter your head you go dey buga
Meanwhile the dullards in school were being mocked by the teachers and the whole school. They were publicly humiliated in front of their mates for poor grade.
So naturally who do you think will succeed more in life??
The one that the school keep hyping as the best student collecting 1st everytime will be more relaxed thinking his future is already made.
While the constant humiliation of the dullards gives them so much motivation to prove everybody wrong. From the teachers to the principal that told them they won't be anything in Life!!!
So OP, stop crying like a bitvch You had your own time to shine Now it's their own turn to shine.
owukpa: A young Nigerian lady, Favour, has narrated her harrowing experience after traveling by road to Libya, where she was sold into prostitution by a Nigerian woman identified as Aisha.
Favour, who hailed from Ohimini LGA of Benue state, in an interview with IDOMA TV, recalled enduring a grueling 30-day journey through the Sahara Desert before finally arriving in Libya.
During her stay, she revealed that women were forced to terminate pregnancies and coerced into prostitution on the same day.
Eriokanmi: So, how much is dangote selling to marketers and how much is the nnpc and co selling? If you do know, pls tell us and then we'd agree with you on your claim about dangote. It's matter of time, the secrets behind all the dangote's frustrations would be known. It won't be hidden forever. I wish the masses had protested against the NNPCL's decision to market dangote's petrol in August and stopped them, after dangote had said he'd sell direct to the public in August and cheaper, which was stalled by the nnpc. Maybe by now, you'd have been stoning those you're supporting with your full chest on the subsidy scam.
Have you forgotten same people lied to you that the port harcourt refineries would soon commence petrol refining 3 consecutive times? At a time, they said they had commenced petrol refining technically, before they now came back to tell you same lies that the TAM( turn around maintenance) had failed. You always swallowed everything they say hook line and sinker. Set yourself free nah. You guys should be tired of being lied to by now.
Nigerians will never cease to confound me! Who would believe that there will be Nigerians today defending these rogue marketers and NNPC? NNPC is completely uninterested in its own refineries working and IPMAN, their closest partners in crime are complaining about monopoly! They should tell their accomplice - NNPC to meet Dangote and beg him to teach them how to build and run a refinery, a skill which from all indications they lack.
OYEDIPE: This is not a platform for political cheap points. We are discussing pure economy here.
What exactly do you know about economics? Did they curse your country with importing from outsiders? For how long will these wicked marketers steal from you before your eyes will open? Can you not see from these opposition against Dangote refinery why the NNPC refineries never worked?
chidiokay: Dangote products cant be cheaper, as long as his crude supply is naija oil, they know he is box to the corner cos his refinery was designed to refine best quality of crude not blend like those in malta
2ndly Dangote refinery is designed to primarily serve Nigeria market, those insisting on importation have plans to bring in blended quality and they know Nigerians dont value quality .. cheap price is the watchword
Nigerians want cheap fuel fromdangote But is Nnpc selling crude to dangote at subsidized or cheap rate
Asides importing cheap substandard petrol, the main kill for nnpc rogues and IPMAN rogues is that they want to be the ones telling Nigerians the volume of products imported/consumed. They want to sneak subsidy back!
WorkTheTalk: NNPC is in charge of selling Nigerian crude oil. The price that Dangote buys crude oil from NNPC determines the price of the finished products for consumers.
This is the same NNPC that owns 7.5% shares of Dangote refinery. This is the same NNPC that owns 3 refineries in Nigeria, but non is functioning despite receiving billions of dollars for mentenance. Also, despite the fact that Dangote refinery has enough products for consumers at the price that is determined by how much it buys the crude oil from NNPC, NNPC is still bent on importing.
Of course, importing petroleum products in the past 3 decades by NNPC has being the major means of looting the treasury.
When will the citizens of this country revolt to chase away these cabals who have stolen our common wealth for so long, or at least stop supporting them? Is it until when the oil wells all dry up, and the looters stay super rich, while the common man keeps eating from the trash can?
You can imagine! And inspite of everything you pointed out, clowns like the guy you quoted are still defending the marketers. What exactly is wrong with Nigerians? If IPMAN is crying about monopoly, with the havoc they have wrecked on Nigeria, should they not have a refinery by now? Dangote's competitors are other private refineries on Nigeria not marketers, anybody can be a marketer with the right connections!
What did it hit? Number 3 is the reason why it is not every quote you should take seriously. A complete failure can give you a good advice which can take you far. Someone can use the mistakes in his life to teach you the path to take and the one not to take. Joe Jackson was a failed musician who led his kids to greatness in the music world, so number 3 is bullcrap!
ValCon888: To the guy talking about trying it in the US, if you like tear your hard earned dollars in the states, they don't give a flying fùck. They don't have restrictive rights like naija.
People here where camo everyday.
Stop lying, mutilating a country's currency os a crime anywhere
Zanzibar1: That's another angle to it... Or maybe he was using it to brag that he could pay the government but doesn't want to and to prove this, he brought out the Naira and shred it
Tokskob2008: His past shouldn't even be the main issue for Nigerians right now atal. We should be more consigned about his present and all the wrong policies he has been dishing out which has been very catastrophic to the masses.
How slow! and you think the past and present are unconnected?
idahme: Why una no dey get sense? Even as u don dey West u still dey behave like iragbiji based person.
Trump frowns at illegal aliens and good leader will encourage illegals to to surpass legal migration. Only a leader who thinks illegals who later became legal could help him or her win elections would allow that.
If any one wants to leave Nigeria for the US the person should use the legal route. Illegals in the US are tens of millions, trump is right to discourage illegal migration and encourage legal migration.
you guys are incredibly dumb! do you think Trump wants you to come in through the legal route either?
Tell Dangote to crash price to N300 and below and see if any Importer will go abroad to buy pms or diesel.
Dangote is one of the reason why prices jumped up from 195 to 1200 and yet you're still here arguing for it to continue.
Dangote did same thing with cement, monopolized the sector and used court cases to frustrate competition.... Today what is the effect? Extremely high cost of housing, especially in Lagos, Abuja and porthacourt.
Now, I want you to ask yourself, what do you stand to gain directly from supporting antics to monopolize the oil sector?
What effect will it have on the wellbeing and welfare of Nigerians?
If you are going to be affected negatively and others are going to be affected negatively and yet you still support Dangote then you are purely stupid according to Dietrich Bonhoeffer and you're extremely dangerous to the society
I find it laughable to find people like you supporting IPMAN after it has robbed you for decades, by stealing and selling PMS that was paid dearly for using scarce forex from our coffers. They worked hard and successfully to kill Nigerian refineries all so they can keep importing. This request of theirs for license is an attempt to frustrate Dangote refinery and kill it to so they can continue jerking up the price of imported products at will. Those refineries that are good at selling petrol cheap should come here and build refineries, enough of the insult!
