Android P just came out in beta and I've had the chance to use it for the first few days since Google I/O 2018 and here are my thoughts.

It does lack some basic custom "native" functions like FM Radio, Timer in Camera and voice recorder because it's stock android. However you can download apps that can do all that. It also lacks4G in some places as well.

Nokia X rumored to be released on May 16 (on the launch date of the OnePlus 6 - May 16) also has a notch and looks like a popular X device.

It's got a 5.8-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and dual cameras at the back.

So far so good, it looks promising and they did as they said with the fast android updates. i just got an update to Android 8.1 Oreo and battery has been on the high since I had it. 10 Days of standby battery left.

The Nokia 7 Plus is Nokia's first 18 by 9 Android Smartphone and it packs a lot as far as specs go. It was announced in February of 2018 and Launched in March of 2018.

The Nokia 7 Plus, like many other Nokia smartphones is part of the AndroidOne Platform, this comes with benefits like fast Android OS Updates, that Stock Android feel and Security.



In this video, I talk about the features of the Nokia 7 Plus and give you my initial impressions and a quick review.

As far as specs go. the Nokia 7 Plus has a
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor (Clocked at 2.2 and 1.8Ghz on each of the four out of eight cores)

It has a 4GB ram, 64GB Internal Storage expandable to 256GB and 3,800mAh battery.

Camera quality is commendable with multiple customs features (actually the only custom thing on the device) like dual camera modes and pro and portrait mode.

The TECNO Camon X is a somewhat budget smartphone by TECNO that runs on android 8.1 out of the box.

In this video, I talk about the features of the Camon X and give you my initial impressions and a quick review. The Camon X has a clock speed at 2.0 GHz with an Octa-core processor by MediaTek.

It has a 3GB ram, 16GB Internal Storage and 3,750mAh battery. (The Camon X Pro has the same battery and processor as the Camon X but has a 64GB Storage and 4GB RAM)

Both the Camon X and X Pro are a 6-inch displays with an aspect ratio of 18:9 (720 x 1440 pixel) display on the X and 2160 x 1080 on the X Pro.

Is it worth it to you?

The memory is actually expandable and there are apps that will move your phone apps to the SD card, just make sure you don't change the SD card and your phone doesn't fall down. As for your question, I think the phone would have benefited from a much faster processor. If you watch the video I made above you will notice some lag in the game but if the processor was faster and the ram was like 2gb I think it would have been a perfect phone for the price. Not entirely. There are some things missing in the phone but it's a budget phone so we can expect some compromises.
I wouldn't really recommend for heavy duty stuff. Just as a good second phone

I've used the Nokia 2 for over a week now and here my thoughts about it.

The Nokia 2 is a budget smartphone by Nokia that runs on stock android 7.1.1.

We all did expect much from this device but I somehow have a feeling that there might be a much more spec-ed out device coming this first quarter.. I can only keep my fingers crossed but for now, the CM looks like a decent budget smartphone for that price.
