Sammychi90: 3 years in the making, God has finally done it. PPR!!!!
Trust me The journey has not been easy. Infact applying for Canada visa is not for the weak-minded. The past 6 months have been a test of my mental strength and faith and I am happy to announce that it has yielded a positive result. For 2yrs I was so scared to submit my application because of my friend that was rejected 3x even with better documentation and well known agent in lagos. But I was My own agent, and with help from strangers turned friends I was able to submit finally with little fear. what God cannot do does not exist at all. I can't thank you guys enough
It shall end in Praises for u all Amen . Congratulations... Go and excel in Canada. God did it...it ended in praise |

Oreoluwamipo: My Application just got refused. Thank you everyone , I'm writing this in tears , why do I always get rejected ? How do I break this news to my mom after everything? Alhamdulilah. I do not deserve this , but Alhamdulilah. I didn't even add that anyone was accompanying me. I am sorry about your refusal, it breaks me seeing you write this and still have to inform your mom. The VO did not do their diligence in assessing your application and responding. I beg of you not to be discouraged, rather brace up, be encouraged that it's not over yet till you win. Order your notes, tackle whatever reason(s) raised by the VO. I am hopeful that your reapplication will be your testimony and hit in Jesus Name. It will end in praise. |

Oyesquare10: My application was just refused based on personal asset and financial status. I am expecting one GCMS notes by 18th of this month. But as it is, I don't think I will apply again, I might have to look for another country. May 15th applicant It is sad your application was refused, it is merely a delay, do not get discouraged, order your notes and reapply, the expected notes would have been generated and might no cover events for refusal. Tackle concerns and your next application will be a hit in Jesus Name |

endinpraise907: HI Everyone, congratulations to everyone who has gotten PPR.
this journey has taken so much from me and today, My energy just shut down. my program started 7th of Sept and school won't deffer without evidence of refusal from IRCC which o don't have as i still await a response. Sorry to hear about the decision your school took, some schools are forced to withdraw their students whilst deferral could have been an option. Schools without options of online learning mostly carry out such decision, I will advice you seek admission elsewhere, so you can update IRCC with the new LOA before decision comes from them. |

Feyisharah: They refused her application after refusing mine and they ve sent medical request to her since last week Sorry to hear about her application's refusal too, since she got medical request, he application had been vetted and was considered for approval, the refusal afterwards is baffling. You mentioned you both used same documents, his about the SOA, the amount in it, does it cover for the first your tuition of both if you with your living expense for one year. I would suggest you both get your notes, and when reapplying, allow for eithe of you two be sponsored by either of your parents while the other parent cosponsor. |

makano: Hello dyce,
This is not a good advise to give someone that just got refused, especially the part you mentioned Judicial review....
Do you know what it takes for an applicant to do Judicial review? Have you seen the reasons for refusal and saw anything that warrants a judicial review from the applicant?
Please lets be guided on the advise we give here...
Peace True, I saw that too. Thank you. |

Stephblues: Landing gist!!! Canada sweet nor be small.
I got to to the airport at about 4:45pm on the 10th of September. I tipped the security at the entrance to allow my husband and cousin in, the guy was just forming activity. When I got in, I was directed to NDLEA to check for drugs, that one too asked for tip. After there, the agricultural people sighted me and asked me to head to their counter because I had one bag of food. What I noticed is that if I wasn’t carrying a Ghana must go back, he wouldn’t have approached me. I paid 2k for the bag.
I was asked to go on the fast track because I gave the guy 1k. Went on to board my flight and we took off like 30 mins later. I slept most of the time as it was a night flight. Food wasn’t good at all, biko which one is over cooked garden egg and cheese? Landed in Heathrow, waited for another 8hrs before leaving for Toronto. This time, the food was better, it was rice and chicken something something(forgot the name, hunger dey catch me).
We landed after 7hrs 55mins. We weren’t allowed to get down because the crowd at the airport was much. Long story short, because of the queue, they took all our passports from us and printed our permits without questions. Thank you for the gist. Amen, Canada will favour you in Jesus Name |

Jessica50: can I reapply immediately ,someone should assist I like your spirit as you would like to refire immediately, I would however, ask that you first get your gcms notes, then can you tackle the main reason raised as you did see this in the notes. Address the issues raised, should you need help, there is lot of it here on nairaland. I am hopeful that once the concerns are addressed in your next application, you will testify. It will end in praise in Jesus Name |

My application was refused this afternoon after sending web form this morning around 10 am. I sent the web form attaching my letter of enrolment Sorry about your application refusal, it is merely a delay, do not get discouraged. Order your gcms notes to know and understand the actual reasons for refusal, the one you shared covers generic reasons, your notes will help you tackle the main issues. I pray you next application will be the hit and will end in praise. |

Plannie22: Hi guys, Just a quick question, please. My admission has to be deferred to next year January. PPR had been approved. If I get my passport stamped and I decide not to go to the Canadian school in January anymore and apply to an American or UK school for next year. Will my application for the UK or a US visa next year be refused because I collected a Canadian student visa this year and did not end up going to the Canadian school?
Please help. You applications to USA or UK schools will not in any way be affected, even with you Canadian Visa, you have a choice of either going or choosing to go elsewhere. I wish you all the best in your decision ahead. |

Presido95: Mine took 10 working days although I stay close to Lekki where VHS’ office is based so you should consider that too. I doubt the proxy of your residence to vfs was the reason why you got it back in 2 weeks. Passport submission and return in Lagos was usually done in 2 weeks, if more perhaps some other factors outside their control caused it. Abuja has a lesser return period, say about 1 week. |

Hubmon360: But what if the person course requires in-person and the school requires a compulsory deferral what do you advice should be done? For a course that requires you be present physically, and you're expected to defer, then defer. Reason being you do not have control over IRCC timeframe of application final decision, and as classes would have begun, you did miss out on tests, presentations and other activities requiring you presence. I advice you defer should your school ask. It will end in praise. |
