Look... Don't be deceived, having a first class is a huge bonus. It gives you an edge that's all. You have to do the rest.. I.e. Prove your worth. Also, I think your personality also matters in getting jobs. Most get past the test phase but fail woefully in the interview stage due to this. I've been to group interviews where the interviewer was shocked at the lack of any sort of personality by these so called first class holders. Most of them have no life outside books..
So just keep applying and get your head outta your arse. Get out there, get experience no matter how small, have a personality and most IMPORTANTLY don't forget to pray and ask for grace.

Lewinskee: Baroids psl was the first to call, followed by sperry drilling, drill bits and services, testing and subsea, completions, cementing e.t.c. Baroids took 2, sperry 7, dbs 2, subsea 2( 1 person declined though), completions ongoing e.t.c. Boots n Coots and prod enhanc haven't called. Snaaz, any news on wirelin n perf?

Yeah very true. But if it's random, then it is not fair. Bearing in mind so many people made the requirements cut off and still didn't get invited. Least they can do is make it an even playing ground allowing everyone qualified to write.

I studied chemical Engineering and met their requirements stated in the advert and haven't received an invite yet. What's going on? TeamLagos Centre. There's god ooooh. And I was looking forward to taking this test

p4all: Since NL crashed i haven't tried logging in again. I am not hiding anything. I was called on Monday 21st, did medicals on 22nd, signed contract on 25th and will resume on 4th of August. #SPERRY. I met 3 other guys and heard of a girl for the same department. I also have a friend that is supposed to resume for one Sub-sea psl (i am not so sure of the correct name) Looks like it's just drilling that is recruiting for now. I don't think that Production has started yet. When i get in and hear anything that will help, i will update the house. Wishing everybody the best.
