Normally, Benin things are always extraordinary in literally everything. I stayed in Abuja for years before moving back to Benin and I can say that the cost of living in certain places like Lugbe in Abuja is less expensive, compared to living in Benin where many workers are less paid yet house rent is crazily high (perhaps because of the plenty g-guys in the state), food prices are high compared to a neighbouring state like Ondo, transport fare is another anomaly. There was a time when some folks sold an egg for close to N90 in Benin, when I travelled to Ondo, an egg was still sold for N50. Take no offence, but sometimes, the hardships of a land are usually caused by the hardness and wickedness of the people that dwell therein. Many, NOT ALL, landlords who wake up and increase rent every year for example and business owners who derive pleasure from increasing prices for the fun of it, are the witches and principalities of Benin. |
Nigeria is experiencing the 19th and 20th prophecy already. |
