I don't really know the best title for this Write up. The problem I have is that I hardly remembers past tense. If I drop something and beat my chest that I must remember to take it while going. Time to go I will so fucking forget until days before I can remember , or unless the thing suddenly became important then I can manage to remember in next few hours. Either it have been stolen or picked up by a passerby. Sometimes I forget people's name even a close friend self . And one that is disturbing me seriously is that I can't remember someone's face next time after seeing him or her for the first time. Or sometimes after I stop seeing someone for a while, then boom the person appears again,, I won't recognize him or her though the face will still be looking familiar to me, but I can't really comprehend who they are until they ask me 'have you forgotten me' then I be like 'yes' . Shocking! Suspected ritualists apprehended with roasted babies in Uganda(photos)

Police in Uganda have arrested two men after they apprehended with bodies of roasted babies. The men at different times reportedly abducted the babies, roasted them and were to used them for ritual purposes.



Twitter user @solomonkibs73 who shared the photos of the men online, wrote

Even though he is still a very young man, famous Nigerian singer, Davido is currently planning to retire from actively doing music very soon.

Boko Haram: 2 teenagers killed in failed Borno suicide attack

Two female suicide bombers were killed on Wednesday morning while attempting to attack a mosque in Borno State, North-east Nigeria.

Mr Damian Chukwu, the Commissioner of Police in the state, confirmed this in a statement personally signed.

Chukwu disclosed that the attackers tried to gain entry into the Alhaji Bunu’s Mosque during the morning prayers in Jiddari Polo general area on the outskirts of Maiduguri, the state capital.

He added that the bombers who were between the ages of 13 and 16 were, however, prevented by the policemen on patrol and unarmed vigilante men also praying in the same mosque.

“In the ensuing stampede, both bombers ran into an uncompleted building in the neighbourhoods, collided and simultaneously exploded, killing only themselves,” he said.

The police commissioner noted that normalcy has been restored in the area and the remains of the girls have been evacuated.

He said the police and the EOD team deployed have sanitized and rendered the area safe.

RIVERS STATE EDUCATION WORKERS 'APRIL FOOL'- 4th April 2018

This information was disclosed to us by a Facebook user recognized as "Chi Dex" . He posted it to his timeline. According to him An information was passed across to civil servants working in the education sector in RIVERS STATE precisely EMOHUA L.G.A. It informed them of a BIOMETRIC exercise scheduled to hold at OBI-WALI CULTURAL CENTER today, since the staffs were already anticipating this; it was no surprise to them.The bomb-shell came when the innocent and oblivious staffs got to the venue, waited for hours without seeing any sign of any activity taking place there.

Some good people took it upon themselves to go to the GOVERNMENT HOUSE to inquire the authencity of the said information but were shocked when they were told by the concerned unit that there was no such excercise taking place and that the information was not from them. Then it downed the staffs has been APRIL FOOLED.
Dejected and angry , the enquiry team returned and disclosed their findings to the upset crowd. And the journey homewards began for everyone amidst curse and ranting's..

20 reportedly killed, 300 cows stolen in fresh ethnic battle in Taraba state
.
A fresh violent ethnic clash on the Mambilla Plateau in Sardauna local government area of Taraba state on Sunday, March 4, has reportedly led to the death of twenty people, while about three hundred cows have been rustled.A resident of the community who fled during the clash, Saadu Magoggo, said that two of his brothers were killed on Saturday evening and their cattle rustled by a group he identified as the Mambilla Militia, Vanguard reports.Another fleeing resident of the area, Abdu Gagarau, said:“The burning and killing by herdsmen continued till early this morning (Saturday). Since last Thursday they have been attacking our settlements and over 20 people killed. Some were buried and over 300 cattle stolen by the militias.

“The Mambila ethnic group is known for attacking other tribes. They attacked the Panso in 1982, the Fulani in 2002 and in 2017. When eventually we retaliate, the normal shouts of herdsmen will start. Letgovernment be proactive and come to our rescue.”A Fulani community leader, Ahmadu Nguroje, said: “At least 20 people are feared killed, looting of houses, shops and burning down to ashes by the Mambilla militias along Tapare and Yerimaru axis have been recorded here in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State. About 12 others were also injured and are on admission at a hospital in Gembu.”Reacting to the violent clash, Governor Darius Ishaku, who spoke through his senior special assistant on public affairs,Emmanuel Bello, said:“Anyone who takes any life, irrespective of religion or tribe, is a criminal; whether it is on the summits of Mambilla or the plains of Southern Taraba and anywhere in this state. And we shall deal with them as criminals. We are committed to an amicable resolution of the crisis in the state and peaceful co-existence of all ethnic nationalities."

According to the report, several houses and other valuables were set ablaze by the warring factions as both sides were said to have recorded casualties.The crisis which started at Nguroje before spreading to Jakarta villages was reportedly ignited by a dispute over land.

Nyerere Anyim, the 2015 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia state, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to seek for second term to enable him consolidate on the gains made so far by his administration.

Anyim, who made the call in an interview with RationalTV.dom.ng on Sunday at his Owerri residence in Imo state, appealed to President Buhari to accept the clarion calls by majority of Nigerians.


He boasted that no candidate from the opposition parties in the country can defeat Buhari in 2019 poll, describing Buhari as best thing to happen to Nigeria.

Anyim said, “There are this opinion by generality of most Nigerians who feel that President Buhari has done and is still doing within the limited time and with limited resources available to him that he should seek for second term to really consolidate on the gains he has made so far.”

“So, I join millions of Nigerians calling on him to seek for second term. Remember it is left for him to accept the clarion call by the good people of Nigeria,”he added.

Anyim, who is currently an executive commissioner in Pencom, also threw his weight behind the decision of the National Executive Committee, NEC, of APC which extended the tenure of John Odigie-Oyegun-led national working committee of the party to one year.


This, he said would sustain the stability in the party

“It is the decision of the party. And it is binding in all of us who are loyal party members. You must understand that the decision was taken by the highest organ of the party. So, we cannot do anything otherwise.

“There is this they normally say that, you don’t change a winning team. They have done well by right. What we are looking at now is towards winning 2019 election. I think that decision is best for the party”, he said.

Atiku reacts to Mambilla attack, calls for justice

Former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the attack on Mambilla, which left many dead on Sunday.

About 20 persons were reported killed and 300 cows stolen, following a fresh outbreak of ethnic violence on the Mambilla Plateau in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State, on Sunday.


The former Vice president expressed sadness at the increasing rate of violence in Mambilla

He urged security agencies to ensure that culprits were brought to book in order to avoid a repeat of the same incident.

“It breaks my heart that the Mambilla has lost its serenity to violence and avoidable deaths.

“It is important that we bring culprits to justice else others will be emboldened to thread the same path as the resurgence of violence in Mambilla has shown,” Atiku tweeted.

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Garba Umar has said plans have been made for deployment of security personnel totaling about 16,000 for the over 4,000 polling units.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise on Saturday, he gave details of how the election primaries ran hitch-free, especially because of efforts by the police, and how the conduct of the main election would be in like manner.

“As you are aware, we conducted about 35 primaries for the 35 political parties that are contesting for the November 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
.
“All the primaries were done successfully without any hitch, security was provided adequately, and we were able to sectorize all the major areas in the state.
.
“For the November 18 also, what we did was to look at possible areas first, what are the flash points, the black spots, second, where are the polling booths, we assess their position and situation and we look at our deployment, how many personnel do we need.
.
“We discovered that we have 4,608 polling units – these polling units will be manned by four police officers each about four security agencies in each of the polling units, and when you multiply that it would give you about 16,000 and also what we did was to identify how many streets that we think we may have problems with.
.
“We looked at the waterways. We have about three major areas where the riverine area may cause a problem for us – we were able to secure the police boats. These boats will be used to convey both our materials as well as our personnel that will provide a safe atmosphere for the conduct of the election.”
